They tried to tell me the warranty on my existing water heater started from the day it was made at the factory which would put it out of warranty. No warranties work that way. I had even given them the manual which spelled out the warranty. When I hired them it was to do a gas pressure test and a transformer voltage check. They never did that. I had been working with the manufacturer and testing other parts and replacing some of those. I do not have a monometer to do the test of the gas pressure and flow. Mysteriously there was a small gas odor that happened while I was out of the room. There was never an odor from the unit. I have repaired my own washers, dryers, fridges, furnace motors, and capacitors for many years. I am very able. I do all of my own car repairs. I have. Never had an issue. I am not clueless as they thought. My old tankless water heater had no circulating pump so the wait for hot water was long every time we used it and we got the requisite *cold water sandwich* that brings too. I was not averse to changing my old unit out for one with a circulating pump anyway to make hot water more accessible than my non-circulating unit could. So, when they gave me the bs story that I needed a new one (I knew my ten-year warranty on the old one still had a few months left), I entertained their estimate before I was going to kick them out. I had to leave town for a few days and leave my wife there with no hot water. The price was on the high end, but since they could install it the next morning, I bit my tongue and let them replace the unit. After nearly ten years, we wanted a unit with a circulating pump anyway. I figured I would go straight to the manufacturer if I had any issues with this company. So I had them install the new one. They did a passable job. They offered a price reduction for a monthly service plan. I did that because I was fine with not doing the backflush myself again, money is not a big issue with me anyway. After they finished I had expressed the issues to the company in writing, not to ask for money back or anything, just for the attempted con on the warranty. The company replied with a text copy from my original manufacturer saying the installer was wrong and that I was right about the warranty (I already knew that but wanted to replace the old one with a recirculating one anyway). I just could not stomach holding a service contract for me when I could not trust them. Everything I did with the old company pointed to the covered warranty on the burner, but the manufacturer just wanted data from a service company for the transformer and the gas flow before they replaced it. I knew that but wanted the better unit but I worried when I happen to be out of town again, would they try to con my wife as they tried with me. I canceled the service contract. I will try a different company should the unit ever need repair I cannot handle.

Seaside Plumbing re-piped my water lines from Quest Poly-B to CPVC. From the first contact with the office staff (Chrissy) to the finished project it was a pleasant experience. Project was scoped/estimated by Tom, and he and his team (Devin and Logan) showed up when they said, completed the re-piping between the crawl space, kitchen and bathrooms in the time they said upfront it would take, and answered my questions along the way. It is easy to tell customer satisfaction is job #1 with Seaside.

Our sump pump needed to be replaced. Seaside sent one of their local plumbers who evaluated the job and gave me three options with a price for each. Once I chose the best option for us, Seaside quickly scheduled the replacement for the following day and their plumber arrived on time, wore a mask and shoe coverings to protect our health and floors, quickly performed the pump replacement, and cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend Seaside!!!!

Had a new water heater installed and the old one removed in less than 3-1/2 hours. Dean was very informative, friendly and professional. Seaside gave me best pricing after getting quotes from other companies. Also have a great and very affordable maintenance agreement for all plumbing in my home! Can’t say enough good things about this company! Oh and same day estimate and installation!
