Azad not only got my computer working well, and fairly quickly, but he also rescued my files so that I didn't lose anything in the process. He was very responsive, professional, and a pleasure to deal with.

Azad was punctual. He started with the larger laptop and immediately went to work. He removed the virus and optimized the laptop so that it works better than I could ever have imagined. The smaller laptop proved to be a little more difficult. After optimizing, he restarted the laptop and incurred the same problem I had. Not to prolong the situation or time, he asked if he could take the laptop with him and I agreed that he could. He was nice enough to check in with me the following week to let me know that he still hadn't quite solved the issue. I assured him it was okay and to take his time. Super Bowl Sunday, he sent me a text to say that the laptop was ready. We agreed to meet the next day. Punctual, as usual, he returned with the laptop and explained that the hard drive had to be replaced. He added a new anti-virus to both laptops, installed a printer and was finished in about an hour and a half. I was very pleased with his work and the price. Top quality service, very knowledgeable, reliable and friendly.

It has always gone well. He leaves us with a clean working system that is easy to use.

After checking to see whether there was any life in it at all, Azad was able to diagnose and repair the issue on the spot in a couple of hours. He was knowledgeable and extremely thorough; the laptop now works better and faster than before. It was obvious why they get such high ratings.

The tech was a little late, but the office called to let me know he was on the way, which is great. Qais was polite and patient with my questions. This is the first time I have ever used a computer repair service and I won't even have to look elsewhere in the future. He quickly saw what the problem was, and in less than an hour had everything cleaned out and running quietly again. First, they come to your house! For my aging laptop, they cleaned the fan and replaced thermal paste. Works like new!

At times there are hardware problems, at other times the computer may have acquired a virus. No matter what the issue over the last three years they are a life-saver. They are super professional, prompt and thorough. They explain everything and help people understand both the current and longer term consequences of each option. Super trustworthy. I honestly believe they should raise their prices for the quality and service they deliver -- they need to flourish and last forever and represent a model for anyone in the business.

The technician, Qais, was conscientious, skilled, informative, polite, and reassuring. I emailed the service provider during the wee hours of the morning and got a phone call first thing the next morning and was told that I could schedule a service call that same day. I appreciated that Qais phoned to say he would be a few minutes late for the scheduled appointment. The technician quickly assessed the extent of infected files and programs and proceeded to make the necessary repairs. He answered all of my questions and also explained what he was doing and why. I could not have been more pleased with the service.

A couple days later, he called me back and said he had the screen and that he would pick up my computer at 10 the next day. He kept it for a day and half and when it was returned, everything worked great.

Micro Geek has been servicing our business computers, viruses and other software issues for the past three yrs. We are in downtown DC and they showed up promptly and resolve all issues professionally. MicroGeek is highly recommended by us as uters a small business in DC. Also, they have serviced our home computers as well.

He called shortly before he arrived to let me know he was on time. He went right to work after he arrived and saved all the data I requested and begin to setup all the new equipment. He made sure all the systems were restored before he left and that I knew how to use all the new equipment.

Things went very well. Quais (pronounced Kice) came by the house when he said he would, but more importantly he communicated in real time about his schedule and the problems with my laptop. Clear communication about arrival time and the problems is more important to me than showing up at the time initially set. Quais is also flexible about things, so if something changes in your schedule, you need only let him know. He is knowledge about laptops. He tested several options to make sure things were really as bad as he suspected. The motherboard died. He explained things to me and answered my questions. on the phone, he even talked me through a parts purchase while I was at the store. We had hoped this part would solve the problem short of replacing the motherboard. Sadly, that was not the case. But I really appreciated his patience and willingness to listen to my suggestions and work with me to find a solution. Quais is very polite, and he doesn't really like dogs. He let me know very politely, but I think he put up with my dogs sniffing longer than necessary. Bottom line: Contain your dogs before he arrives. He likes cats. I will absolutely call The Micro Geek next time I need computer repair. In fact, I have already referred them to my daughter for her iPhone. But she'll have to give you that review.

Mr. Ali was really good. Professional, clear about what he was doing, answered all of my questions and helped me get everything back that I thought I lost. He came on time, and was very approachable. When he brought my computer back, he called to give me status updates on his progress to my house, due to some traffic issue that were not his fault. I would definitely use him again. I have his information and will definitely recommend him to my friends should they need this type of service.

My Mac desktop began acting up in September of 2014. When booting the desktop, it would continue to boot over and over again. I brought the desktop to The Micro Geek in October 2014. The technician performed diagnostic testing and determined that there was a problem with the hard drive. They performed the repairs, taking care to save my files and data, and I picked up the desktop. All was well for a while, and the problem returned. I contacted The Micro Geek and they arranged to come to my house to pick up the computer for additional testing and repair. They fixed the computer free of charge and returned it to me. The problem occurred again in February 2015 and the Micro Geek continued to provide support. In March, I took a bad fall and broke my arm requiring surgery and months of therapy. I mention this because The Micro Geek kept my computer and had it ready for me when I could come and get it. In the end, The Micro Geek discovered that I had corrupted Microsoft files that were causing issues with the Mac operating system. The technician managed to save all of my files to an external hard drive and got my Mac computer running in top condition again. This was a very complicated problem, and The Micro Geek did a fantastic job diagnosing, fixing, and providing support to me and my computer. After all of the issues, I paid no more than $250 for repairs and that includes the cost of the external hard drive. I would highly recommend these computer technicians to anyone who has a minor, or complex, computer service problem. The Micro Geek has skilled technicians who are persistent, knowledgeable, and professional in their work.

I agreed to have the hard drive replaced by a solid-state drive and have the data on the hard drive copied to the new solid-state drive. I get a call with information that a capacitor on the pc?s motherboard was bad. Mr. Azad purposed to copy the data from the pc?s hard-drive to a solid-state drive install it to a similar Dell pc with a close configuration as the original pc. I agree to the work. Two days later I went over to The Micro Geek?s place to test out the replacement pc. Mr. Azad did a fantastic job. The pc had the data from the old hard-drive, Windows 7 (great since my old pc had Windows XP) and looks great. The pc starts up and shuts down quickly and it operates like a champ. I took the pc home, hooked it up and its running great. I would use The Micro Geek again.

We have used Micro Geek numerous times and continue to recommend them to everyone! It is wonderful to have such amazing, friendly service at a reasonable price. Excellent! I thought I lost the backup to my QB data but turned out to be a simple fix. Mr. Ali was very nice. I felt foolish about such a simple mistake but he was very reassuring and provided advice on a number of computer issues. He was very respectful, prompt, attentive and kind.
