They did a full diagnostic test of the furnace and that's how they detected the issues. They very professional and very responsive. The technicans were professional and explanatory. They also gave us options as to what we wanted done. They saved us a lot of money because other companies were saying that it was one thing or another but they discovered the actual issue.

As usual Sila was professional, timely, and easy to schedule with.

It was a Big Deal purchase. It was great. There were no extra charges. He did not try to sell me anything else. He just seemed to do the checking and said that everything was good and left. We have not had any problems since then. It was a good experience.

These guys are honest, hardworking, responsive, fair. They are not the cheapest in the business, but they're worth the money for how polite, trustworthy, and knowledgable they are. Cannot recommend them enough!!

They were very prompt in responding after I sent an initial inquiry. They gave me a time window, same day, and came during that window. Dave (technician) showed up and was very helpful in explaining how my HVAC works and what the problem was. After diagnosing the problem, he also checked a few other things to make sure that the work he originally thought needed to be done actually needed to be done. He gave me an original quote and went to pick up the necessary part and then came back with an adjusted, lower quote since he realized the job would be quicker than first estimated. My furnace went out in the middle of the night. I contacted them around 8:30 this morning and now at 1:52p, my house is back to my preferred temperature.

I can't say enough about the service and professionalism of Sila Heating and AC. Because I was replacing my entire HVAC and I got three bids to ensure I had enough information to make an informed choice. Sila's price was better than one company and comparable to the other. In addition to price, customer service is what really makes Sila stand heads above the competition. Brenton came to my house and provided an estimate within 24 hours, neither of the other two companies did this. When it looked like there would be some issues with duct work in my house, Sila's crew visited again and provided a new estimate and worked out ways to keep the costs down. From start to finish, this was a great experience.

Jose A told me what he thought the problem was, and was right. He had what he needed to fix it, got it done in 30 minutes (but also told me before he started what he thought it would require), and let me know as he progressed how things were going, and what to expect next. He told me about the longevity of the part, the furnace, and what I could expect from the furnace in the future. SILA did NOT disappoint.

Sila was great! They were prompt, courteous, and explained exactly what they were doing. We were so impressed with their professionalism that we ended up using them for our central air conditioning installation, as well.

The tech arrived on time and performed the check. When finished he sited several "serious" issues with my furnace and informed me that due to the age of my furnace, the parts to repair are no longer available and that if the furnace breaks down I'm looking at purchasing a whole entire unit. that was a shock. Fast forward October 2014, my furnace stopped functioning and I called another company. They found the issue replaced the part and my furnace is working just fine. After this repair I began to wonder how honest the tech from Sila was about my options.

Sila gave me very good advice on the type and size boiler that my house needed (my old boiler was oversized for the house). They provided contacts for the required pre-work (asbestos removal, chimney cleaning). The boiler and new piping are a thing of beauty! The house is very comfortably warm.

I had used Sila previously to do furnace maintainance, and I had thought they were very good, so I called them to get a quote for replacing my A/C system. The rep they sent out (Rich) gave me a quote on a Lennox system that was way out of my price range, and then tried to sell me on Ruud being a cheaper but very high quality alternative, citing the consumer reports rankings on frequency of repairs. He said they were ranked 2nd, but I looked up the report and Ruud/Rheem are 6th out of 9 companies' products evaluated. He gave me a quote on the Ruud system as well as one from Carrier (rated higher, but also more expensive). I decided to look elsewhere for quotes and ended up using another provider.

It was a pretty standard affair. He inspected the furnace.

One of the zone valves on our gas-fired boiler went bad and was stuck open, causing the upper level to overheat. We called Sila in for an assessment (we had talked to them earlier to get estimates for some other work and even though that project didn't move forward, they seemed responsive and their prices were very competitive). Joey came over quickly and identified the problem and his office quickly provided an estimate (around $1,300 for replacing both zone valves). Another company quoted us nearly $3,500 for replacing the two zone valves plus a bunch of upgrades that we did not need but they claimed were required by code! After they refused to back down on their price, we decided to go with Sila. Sila promptly scheduled the work. Joey was timely, very professional, and knew what he was doing. He had the system up and running in less time than promised, and even added a transformer (at no cost to us) to power the zone valves - something that the system did not include previously. After he left, there were some issues with the heat not running as expected, and his office re-scheduled him very quickly for a follow up visit. All in all, a wonderful experience!

The provider attached a hose to the hot water heater and emptied the water from the hot water heater into a sink . The whole operation took about 10 t0 15 minutes. The water from the hot water heater was a little murky.

I called Silas this morning at 8 after my furnace stopped working. The woman that answered the phone was incredibly friendly and professional. Jose, the technician, here by 9, and he was able to diagnose the problem immediately. The pressure valve was not closing, therefore the furnace was not kicking on. Instead of charging me for a new part and labor to replace, he simply cleaned it out and it started working again. He also tested everything else to make sure that nothing else was wrong. Very pleased with the service.
