Joey was punctual, friendly and informative. He also checked water settings, provided advice on future maintenance/emergency and commented on condition of hot and cold water pipes. I would gladly hire again.

Provider was right on time. He was very professional. He performed the work well and did not try to sell me any thing else. My water heater was installed by Michael and Sons in 2011. He pointed out the water heater that they installed was not a 2011 model but actually a 2006 model. As a result, it would probably not be covered under warranty by any other company than the one that installed it. I had not noticed this. Also, he pointed out that the water heater does not need to be flushed every year, contrary to what Michael and Sons told me, but that every 2 to 3 years is fine. I appreciated his honesty.

This is about as great a service experience as we've had in a long time. The service person called right on time. He was both very polite, and very friendly. In addition to doing what he had to, as he went along, he also explained and showed the little things I could do as the home owner to help keep things in working order.

They were up front with the cost on how much things would be. When I got the quote a day or two later, it was in range with what they told me.

They were good. It was a good experience. We did have an issue they had to come out and fix after the installation.

Installation was quick and well done. Came out twice in the next few months to resolve issues: both times the issues were due to dead outlets to which the condensate pump was connected (one dead already when the initial installation was done, the second which died a couple months later due to a dead GFI further up the circuit). They didn't charge me for the two follow on service calls, which I didn't expect but appreciated. The installation was expensive for the model, a Lennox 14ACX 3.5 ton unit, which I've seen quoted variously online at an average of $4,200 installed. My price was closer to $5,600. I decided to go with it given I've had good service from SILA and this is a long-term investment anyway.

Was difficult working with the company to schedule the work--only available during regular business hours, no weekends and the first visit they didn't even ring the doorbell, just knocked and then walked away after a few minutes. Other complaint is on the price--we paid $79 on Angie's least as a "special offer"....and then we got added to the company's email newsletter in which they advertised the exact same service for $59!!!! but they wouldn't let us return one deal and swap for the cheaper price!

The service repairmen were courteous, provided insights as to why two rooms of the home may not be cooling like rest of house and provided recommendations. They did an inspection of the entire HVAC system and replaced the filter.

First, they cancelled our appointment at the last minute. We purchased the tune up service plus 1 pound of refrigerant. When the technician came, he mentioned that our AC is running out refrigerant and added it and stated that everything was fine and left. But, 3 weeks after he left, our AC is leaking A LOT of water. I am not sure what refrigerant he added and why he mentioned that our AC was fine after he checked out system?

Very well - This was our first time using Sila. The technician, Josh, was on time and carefully diagnosed, explained, and addressed the problems. He also gave us an assessment of what parts of the system were old but functioning, and what needed to be replaced. Based on our impression of Sila's competence through Josh, supported by other Angie's List reviews, we asked for a proposal for replacing one of our HVAC systems.
