Description of Work: Inspected and diagnosed the problem with my heat pump. They initially diagnosed the problem as a defective motor and ordered the replacement part. Once the part was installed, they determined that the compressor was defective as well. A salesman came out the same day to give me a quote for a new heat pump and it was installed two days later. All company personnel were pleasant and professional. The installation was efficient, and the technicians were polite and cleaned up after themselves. It has been five days since the installation, and the system is not cooling my upper level. I have requested resolution and am waiting for a response.

Description of Work: Purchased a "21-point furnace tune up" as a special deal. I already knew I needed a new starter for the heater. The repairman cleaned the heater thoroughly, had a starter with him that he was able to install, and checked out all the radiators. Repairman was knowledgeable and helpful.

Description of Work: I asked for an estimate for an a/c system for my house. They were way over the price of competitors, and based their estimates on very little data. They took no measurements, did not investigate the rooms to be cooled, and did not return my calls in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: They came out twice...once to check out our central a/c system and another time to charge a ductless split system in our basement. I was really impressed with the work in both cases. They would have received an overall "A" except that the first person who came out to charge the split system did not bring the correct equipment, so we had to schedule another appointment, meaning we had wasted a day off from work. We have already hired them to check our system this spring.

Description of Work: Sila was prompt scheduling the appointment. The technician arrived on time and determined that we needed a part replaced. He indicated that he would have someone call us with the estimate. We ended up calling the office two days later. This was during a cold spell and our furnace was not working. The person answering the call told us call that same date with an estimate. The call was returned on a Saturday. We asked them to order the part and schedule the appt. The part was ordered on Monday but an appt could not be scheduled until Wednesday. This means we were without our furnace for seven days. If the estimate was provided sooner we would have had the furnace fixed sooner.

Description of Work: Very prompt, came on the same day that I contacted them for servicing the gas furnace. Oscar did a 21-point furnace tune-up. As he was doing the work, he was giving me some helpful tips on helping me to keep the unit clean and how often to replace the filters. Oscar was very professional in the work he did at my house. I will definitely reccommend him to other homeowners.
