Description of Work: I would not recommend this company. They troubleshot a problem that turned out to not be the root of the problem. Also, SILA would not stand by a warranty for a furnace component that they sold and installed only a year prior to it's going bad. To add injury to insult, they also quoted me a price for another system repair that was more than twice the amounts that were quoted by other HVAC firms before trying to upsell me on installing a new unit. Use them at your own risk.

Description of Work: SILA cleaned the furnace of our heating system. Job was done efficiently and in a friendly manner. When testing the system, all seemed OK but later we discovered that there was a malfunction with the thermostat.

Description of Work: These guys did a great job. It was really expensive, but with the kind of house we have, the high velocity AC system was the only solution. John the sales guy was fabulous, the installers were wonderful; you would never have known that they had been installing air conditioning after they left at the end of each day. John spend a lot of time with us going over how they were going to do the installation, how it would work, how long it would take. They were bang on. We called five or six references in the area and our conclusion is that SILA should throw a party for their customers or the customer should throw a party for SILA because the customers love SILA and we agree

Description of Work: Sila came to service our boiler and we liked them so much we signed up for an annual service contract.

Description of Work: I essentially paid 99.00 for an estimate. The estimate, after deducting the Angie's List discount, was close to 800.00 more expensive than a competitor who did not have the benefit of the Angie's List deal. When I advised the sales rep of their high price, they countered with another price. In short, the value of my 99.00 investment in this deal was zero.

Description of Work: Sila replaced our entire HVAC with a more efficient unit. They were prompt, professional and courteous. They came and completed the work as promised. The only problem was damage done to our wood floor (steps) when one of the workmen dropped the furnace unit. He promised someone from Sila would contact us and repairs be made. One month later, still haven't heard from them.

Description of Work: Received a replacement fan relay and coolant. The overall experience from start to finish was remarkable, excellent customer service from the front office staff to the field technician who performed admirably. Recommend them highly and will use them again.

Description of Work: Emptied water from system - reconnected baseboard heater - replaced two valves - refilled water | |All went fine so far. Once we start the heating system again (about November) we'll see that there no leaks. I am optimistic

Description of Work: SILA came and did a quote for a completely new AC and heating system in my home. Our setup is unique with a hydro handler that has confused many companies in the past. Rich Kelly was the name of the person who came to do the quote. It is clear that he has a huge amount of experience and easily understood our hydro system. If you use SILA I would request Rich. He was a huge help through the entire process. | |SILA's price was very competitive compared to the other quotes we got and the installation crew was extremely friendly and punctual. They even moped our floor before they left. We are very happy with the service and new system and would definitely use SILA again.

The lead representative was knowledgeable, helpful and ensured that all aspects of the product, installation and transaction were understood. I would use Sila again and would recommend them to anyone who requires such services.
