Sila Heating, Cooling and Plumbing

Sila arranged for a service visit by the next day I called. Oscar came to check a noisy start on my heat pump, he not only was very knowledgeable and courteous, but took the time to explain and answer my questions. We discussed options based on a bit of research I have done, and it was great having him to validate some parts, and correct others. He knows what he's talking about, and provides sensible advice. Overall, it was a great experience. Quick and courteous service, and very appropriate advice. Will do business with them again.

The service was professional. I had a lot of basic questions about the heating system, and Oscar, the service tech, was knowledgeable and gracious in providing answer and recommendations. I trusted the services and Oscar did quick and quality work. I recommend Sila Heating and Air Conditioning and will probably contact them with any future work.

Angie's List offered a $69 21-point furnace inspection from Sila. The technician, Oscar R., was on time, friendly, and seemed to be very thorough. He didn't try to oversell me on any additional services, but when I mentioned that I was thinking about a new hot water heater, he helped to set up an estimate for next week. Overall, 70 bucks for peace of mind that my furnace is in good shape for a while was well worth the price.

Oscar was very polite, answered all my questions and checked/cleaned the furnace. He fixed the area where the air filter goes so that it goes in more easily. The whole experience was very positive and I will most likely use Sila again. I also really appreciated that Oscar used shoe covering when he came into the house. He provided great service!

Our heat stopped working all of a sudden.I called Silva and spoke with Brentin Cottrell. Brentin was very pleasant and helped me get an immediate appointment.The day of our appointment, the technician (Oscar) was on time, he was polite and courteous (covering his shoes before stepping in the house). He went to work and quickly discovered the problem. He solved the problem and also shared a couple of helpful maintenance tips. I'll definitely use this company again.

This the second time using this company. The customer service representative who took my initial call to the two technicians Mike and Oscar who offer first class service. I will certainly use this company again..

They were on time and did a quality job. Also explained and gave advise about installing carbon detectors near the gas furnace.

Oscar arrive early - I was impressed. He came in and went right to work. I've been in my home for 15 years and have had my heating system service at least every two years. He was very detailed in servicing my system and was very patient with all my questions as I watched him work. Oscar also provided me with excellent maintenance advice that I could do myself to assist with keeping my system running at the highest level. That I appreciated. I will use SILA again and I will request Oscar. Thank you for your professional service from start to finish.

I made an appointment with Sila because another service provider (who I also found on AL) said that Sila was the only one he trusted to work on his heat. Joey came to my home on time and did a complete walk-through with me of our existing radiators (downstairs) and baseboards (upstairs). He was able to find baseboard bleed points that another (non-AL) provider had missed, explaining that if we bled the upstairs baseboards at each of these points, it would help with our heating situation. He was able to assure us that there wasn't anything wrong with our heating system and that it would just take time. Joey answered all of my questions very thoroughly. He explained that it probably wasn't worthwhile to replace the wiring for our downstairs thermostat just to get onto the energy savings program through our utility company (but he did tell us what brand of thermostat they use in case we wanted to buy it ourselves) and I appreciated his honesty. He also explained Sila's maintenance program, which we are considering purchasing this year. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

Mike came, did the 21 point service and made necessary repairs to the heating system. I feel that I got way more than I paid for!

I asked for an earlly morning appointment, and it was met right on time. After the inspection and cleaning was performed, I was told of the findings (things working well). I'll use Sila again.

The serviceman arrived on time. He was very helpful, professional, and explained everything. I appreciated how he wore shoe covers in the house. He showed me what parts he needed to clean, showed me what was going on with our furnace, and gave me helpful tips on how to save energy (how to set my thermostat). He also answered all of my questions.

my boiler is super old and he suggested replacement - something I know needs to be done soon .will call them when I am able to afford replacing / upgrading my system.

the serviceman was a few minutes early, very friendly and professional. he explained every part of the system check/analysis and recommended services for the future. there was no hard sell to buy equipment or have additional services at that time. the visit was less than 30 minutes and I was very pleased with his professionalism and responsiveness.

Two men showed up the day after we called. The scheduled hours were 12-3; they came at about 12:30. The work was done quick and the house is warm again (ahhh). The bid for the work was well under half the highest of the 3 bids (Argent), and they took a $20 coupon from Angie's list! I'm a happy camper.
