He cleaned it and wore protective shoes. Joey answered all my questions. He had just came from a training course which I really liked. I was really impressed and I will defiantly use them again.

Mr. Oscar Robinson came out and did a thorough examination. He was very professional and I have complete confidence in his work.

They were on time, and they did a good job. They fixed our boiler and something went wrong in terms of like the parts they ordered. They made it right. They stuck to their word, and they refunded our money. They were professional, and I felt like they knew what they were doing.

In two visits Oscar was able to install the new thermostat, find the problems with my furnace, and provide answer to all of my questions. He was punctual, especially important in busy lives we all live.

We scheduled a Saturday morning appointment. The service tech arrived on time and performed his inspection and clean-up in a very reasonable time.

I had a very good experience with Sila. Before I could even call them, someone from Sila reached out to me to set up the appointment and was able to accommodate my work schedule. I recently purchased a home and had Sila come out to do a check on my boiler to get it ready for winter. The Sila representative arrived right on time. He was polite and professional. I've never lived in a home with a boiler before, so he explained what he was doing and gave me some pointers on things to look out for to prevent larger problems in the future. He also provided helpful information on yearly maintenance programs and other services that might be of interest. The Sila representative was respectful, competent, and efficient and I wouldn't hesitate to use the company for future services.

The SIla serviceman arrived promptly and was courteous, quick, and professional. Because it was a prepaid routine furnace cleaning and check I can't really comment in detail on the quality of the work. The serviceman appeared to know what he was doing. He did not try to sell me extra services.

Sila sent their technician Oscar out. He was on time and professional and while I didn't hover over him as he tuned the heater up I assume he did a good job. I asked him about my heater's occasional failure to reach its set temperature on very cold days. Unlike every other HVAC technician, he gave a number of possibilities and then surprised me by settling on one no one else mentioned and explained that it was unlikely to be more than a nuisance. Oscar impressed me with his expertise and earned my trust by not recommending service until I felt it was necessary.

Fantastic service provider. Didn't push a warranty program - actually told me it isn't worth it given the relatively young age of my system. Arrived on time and was very helpful in answering questions.

The technician Oscar was very knowledgable of the type of system that was to be serviced. He was able to offer suggestions on how to best maintain the system in the future. I will use Sila in the future. When I called the vendor to set up the service , the company was very professional in setting up a time for the service. After purchasing this deal, before I even had a chance to call Sila Heating & AC to set up the appointment, I had a voicemail from them proactively contacting me to set up the appointment! The tune-up and inspection went great, with no hard upsell or claims that other things were wrong with my furnace. I truly appreciated the professionalism and promptness and will definitely use Sila again.

I had a problem with my heater blowing cold air. Called Sila on Saturday morning and spoke with Oscar Robinson and gave him the symptoms of my particular issue and what steps I had already taken to troubleshoot the problem. Oscar scheduled an appointment for 3-5 pm later in the day, but to my surprise he called around noon indicating he could come out earlier than expected. Oscar also informed me that there was a coupon on Angie's list which could save me $30 on the service call. Oscar arrived and diagnosed the problem within fifteen minutes, and explained what it would cost to repair and how long it would take. Oscar also informed me, that based upon the age of my furnace (12yrs old), now would be a good time to consider purchasing a service plan, which could save me money and headaches in the long run. I was impressed by Oscar's professionalism and candor, it was a pleasure doing business with him and he is a fine representative for Sila.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for Sila Plumbing and Heating to perform a 12 point furnace maintenance check. The technician, Oscar, was early for our appointment and was very professional. He introduced himself and followed me to the furnace. He worked very efficiently and thoroughly explained his findings once he was finished. He was not pushy and made suggestions that sounded practical but did not force me into signing a maintenance agreement, just suggested it. (I hate when service people try to force things on you!) I was very pleased to see he cleaned up his work area. If I decide to follow through on his suggestions, I will definitely call Sila again.

It went very well. Not cheap, but a very good job.

The service man was here on time and did the job we had asked him to do. He explained what he was doing and gave us options to consider, but, didn't push additional sales on us aggressively.

First technician was able to "force" the heater to start whenever he wanted, so he felt he couldn't recreate the problem - the heater would not turn on frequently enough or stay on long enough on its own to heat the house above 68 degrees even though the thermostat was set at 72 degrees. His recommended solution: have a service maintenance performed. Since Sila had an Angie's List Big Deal for the service maintenance, I decided to go forward with that. After working on my heater for awhile, the second technician told me he was unfamiliar with my brand of heater, Haier, could not find the control panel manual for my unit on the internet, no one back at the office could help him, and he was unsuccessful calling Haier directly, so there wasn't anything he could do to either service the unit or identify the problem. His recommended solution: buy a new heating system from a more "common" manufacturer.

Overall, it was a nice experience with Sila and we will use them again to check out our A/C this summer. They ended up having to come out several times but they were always very punctual and professional and ended up fixing everything. I never felt like they rushed their work; they spent a lot of time on our boiler and were always very nice. We got their 1 year service plan/warranty offer and that ended up being a great deal-- saved us a lot of money. They didn't give up until they fixed the problem and even came out on during a snow day to continue their work.
