The technician showed up an hour late. He then provided professional service, and made a good recommendation on a solution for supplemental AC. But then I waited 3-4 weeks, and never received a quote. I then called the Sila office twice and talked to two different people, and they assured me they'd follow up. I still have not received a quote. Perhaps this review will prompt one?

It went very well. The tech was thorough and knowledgeable.

I purchased the deal today and got a call from the company within an hour. A technician was available to come out the SAME DAY. I was shown an alternate placement for filters that is much easier to access, and the technician provided a new filter. Also, I was informed that the furnace was lacking a full length drip pan. It may be my imagination, but my house seems warmer after the service....

I paid to have my heating unit repaired and the unit malfunctioned about 16 days after the repairs. The Representative that handled the repairs seemed more interested in up selling than gettin my heating unit working properly. Now I have no heat in the dead of the winter. I will never recommend their services.

Excellent service. Called on Christmas Eve to setup appointment. Office called when technician was on his way and technician arrived on time. Performed maintenance noted issue with bearings on one unit and explained how it and why it occurred. Received receipt and quote within minutes of technician leaving.

Good. Tech advised I needed a new system and he showed me where the problems were. He didn’t charge me to clean the system since the system was in need of replacement .

Calling their office for an appointment gave a great first impression. I spoke to Sheryl and Jonathan and was favorably impressed by their curtesy and professionalism. The technician came in on time and proceeded to do the tune up. He was wearing shoe covers which was really appreciated. He performed the tune up without any problem and gave us a summary of what he did and what to expect. We will definitely use their services again, this time for AC tune up this spring.

Not only fixed the problems, but made some adjustments to improve the system and provided some helpful information.

We've been using Sila for years and have found them to be the best in HVAC. Our technician, Joey, is extremely knowledgeable and patient answering a zillion questions that we always have............... Can't say enough about SILA; if we could give them an A+ rating, we would.

Never heard from the company, despite two separate attempts to reach them.

Quoted me about $149.00 for the service call. The guy came and diagnosed the problem as blocked drainage line from the condensation pan. He told me he would put some compressed air through it to see if that cleared the blockage. He quoted me a price to install a pump to prevent the issue in the future, and I said I'd think about it. He then told me I owed him $290.00 (in addition to the $149.00 service call fee) for clearing the blockage. All he did was put some compressed air through the line. He was only in my basement for 10 minutes. Since I had not agreed to that in advance I refused to pay anything other than the $149.00 fee. Never again.

Extremely well. We heard water running in the HVAC system and the shed floor was wet. I was very worried about water damage. On Monday morning I called Sila and they sent someone before 10am. They were responsive, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend Sila.

Very disappointed! SILA was my go-to HVAC company and I even referred my Mother. I scheduled an annual maintenance visit and told the operator that I had an Angie's List Deal for $89 annual maintenance. The Operator 'Up-Sold" me on a $99 Angie's List Deal where I would also receive a Nest CO2 Detector for "$10 more" and she asked me to claim the deal on Angie's List. To make a long story short, the technician came for the visit, quoted me $250 to clean the outside AC unit which I declined because it was more than I paid last year, had no idea about the Nest CO2 Detector that he was supposed to install, and then tried to charge me $150 for the service visit. We argued about the price which would have been $99 with the Nest CO2 Detector. Without the Nest CO2 Detector, it should have been $89 with the Angie's List Deal. I ultimately paid $89 for the visit but this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Jose came by and was great. Did a thorough review of system, gave me some options on other work and answered a bunch of questions. I ended up signing up for the annual maintenance plan I was so satisfied.

After installation in winter, everything seemed fine, but when it got hot, we discovered the brand new AC didn't work. They were prompt in addressing it, but it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.

I spoke with a woman named Shirley or Shelly on the phone yesterday and explained that the unit had stopped working and that there was a leak that we believed was related to this problem. She said she could send someone out today, so I asked her how much the visit would cost. Her response was that she couldn't tell me an amount beforehand and that the cost would be determined according to the diagnostics. My obvious inference was that this company doesn't charge for the discharge, but just for the task needed. It seemed unusual, but convenient, and the company has good reviews, so I was happy to hear that. Turns out that today, the man goes, doesn't bother giving us a call to explain the problem or inform how much it would cost and request authorization, but called after doing the work to say that we owed them $439: $149 just for going out, and $290 for emptying the pan and gluing a pipe that wasn't attached. When I called the company to complain about this, the young lady blatantly lied, first to me, and then to my husband. In my face, she claimed that she has the same speech with everyone about the discharge cost and that there is no way she wouldn't have mentioned it. It wasn't true, because the discharge cost is the information one is waiting to hear before hiring a company's service. When I told her it wasn't true she challenged me with disputing the costs and the company not going out to work for us again very aggressively. Secondly, she claims that the $149 includes a full diagnostics, which was impossible for the worker to perform, because they didn't send him with a long enough ladder to get up to the roof. This young lady, then told my husband that I had told her that the rooftop was accessible from inside the house. She and I never talked about getting on the rooftop. Afterward, she claimed that the diagnostics were not full diagnostics but standard. So, she is definitely the kind of person who adjusts her story depending on one's reply. To speak in modern terms, she's a gaslighter. So we've paid a ridiculous amount of money for an incredibly small task and to get lied to and challenged by her. This way of doing business is unacceptable to us.

I made an initial appointment. Apparently, the person taking my number took it down incorrectly. They learned that it was the wrong number, but didn't follow up through my email, which they had. I waited all afternoon and finally called them. Learning all this, I made another appointment for the next day, which kept me stuck at home for five hours while I waited, No one came and not even a call. Maybe this was unusual for them, since their other reviews are good. But I would never try using them again, and couldn't recommend them.

They checked out our hvac, made recommendations for better airflow to the upstairs. They checked out our AC unit on the top of our townhouse in the rain - no easy feat. The workers were very friendly and considerate (made sure to keep booties on when entering the house).

Professional and prompt service. Tech arrived on time as was extremely professional. Was very respectful of the property and performed the inspection in a timely matter. No pressure to purchase additional services just offered recommendations. Would definitely use again and recommend

good though wasn't crazy with the idea of requiring an expansion tank (he said it was montco code which I doubt) but as a preventative it made sense
