Mechanic was friendly and personable. Mechanic went through the heating furnace and cleaned and inspected the system. He gave good advice as to how to take care of the system and walked me through any questions I had. Would want to have the same mechanic again for the air condition tune up.

Oscar, the tech, showed up to my house within the first 20 minutes of the 2 hour window that they gave me for my appointment despite the pouring rain that morning. He was very professional and immediately put on shoe covers to protect my floors. I am new to owning a home with a boiler, so I didn't know much about the tune-up process. However, Oscar walked me through everything he was doing and how my boiler works. He even went into some common problems I might encounter and how to easily fix them. The tune-up took about 45 minutes total. Overall, I was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the tech.

They were quick, clenaed up nicely, and did a good job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. There was no additional cost. Everything went well. My husband was the one that met the technician.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out good. They don't work on the kind of system that I have. They know about them, but they don't install them. The guy was very good. He told me there was nothing wrong with it, it's just that I needed to have it checked and made sure that it was working for the summer. He did a good and thorough job. I wanted them to install the same kind of system in another property and he explained to me that they don't do that. He explained everything to me.

They were fine and came in and did what they were supposed to do. I asked for an estimate for a humidifier. They never got back to me about the estimate. I expected them to try and sell me something and they didn’t which was fine, but they never got back to me about the humidifier. No additional costs with the Big Deal. Everything worked out really well. The guy was really nice.

They came on time. The tech did very good work. He also educated me about how to take care the system. I will use this company again in the future.

The guy from Sila was great. Arrived on time and was friendly and professional. Unfortunately we couldn't get my system to replicate the noises it had been making, so it was tough for him to diagnose/resolve the issue. He went above and beyond by investigating all parts of the system just in case, and stayed a bit longer than planned just to see if it would start making the noise. He suggested I record it next time, which was very smart. I used the $30 service call coupon available on their site.

Really understand how to install equipment in old rowhouses that have limited space.

We used Sila to do a complete overhaul of a high velocity A/C system that was poorly installed by another company 8 years ago. The project went smoothly from start to finish. Estimate of cost and time was on target. The work was done over 5 days and at the end of each day the work areas were left clean and neat. I have to commend Brentin, Chris, Choung and Chin for doing a great job and responding to all our concerns and questions. We have had them come back later in the summer to tweak some of the work and it was done quickly and well, without additional cost. We are very pleased with the system and with the company.

From the initial visit and consultation to the installation, Sila was a very professional and courteous operation. They went the extra mile to install the AC unit, given the hot temperatures this summer. The project manager/sales consultant provides me with all the details of how the system worked.

It went well. The tech was friendly and polite, it had no issues with talking me through what he was doing for the service. My only issue was that I also wanted my generator serviced as a later service call (a tune-up kit had to be ordered) and somehow that never happened.

Sila was great! My A/C unit stopped working on a 90 degree day, I called Sila and they bent over backwards to get someone out to my home. They sent out Chris who was a sales consultant. My A/C unit was older, however, Chris believed it still had some life left in it. He had a technician come out the very next day, who explained my A/C unit was in overall good shape, and that I just needed a simple part to get it back up and running. THANKS SILA GREAT JOB!

The company called me very promptly and was very flexible in meeting my scheduling needs. The technician arrived on time and was courteous. He did a thorough inspection of both systems and explained to me his findings. He checked the freon levels in both systems. The only issue that I have is that the day the technician came the weather was below normal and one of the systems measured a little bit low on freon and the technician did not want to recharge the system until the weather warmed up. I contacted the company and scheduled another appointment and when the technician came out the 2nd time to fill up the system the pressure read normal. I was happy that I did not have to pay to have the system charged (important given the current cost of freon) but I was not happy about having to take additional time off of work for no reason. I would have assumed that the technicians would be well versed in the fluctuations of the pressure levels depending on the weather.

I have used Sila twice, once for maintenance for the furnace and once for the air conditioner. Each time, the service provider was on time, friendly and he answered all of my questions. In addition, he was knowledgeable about my unit. I am planning to schedule another appointment for the upcoming season. I used the website to schedule the appointment and was contacted via phone and email to ensure that I received the correct time slot. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Sila.

Mechanic came and did the maintenance check and then suggested -- and I accepted -- an annual maintenance and repair contract.

I don't usually write reviews. However this company is worth the praise. Professional, Knowledgeable, courteous, punctual, you name it. WOW!
