I e-mailed on Sunday, they called first thing Monday morning and I was able to get a next-day appointment. Service was fast, thorough and professional. Their truck advertising also notes they have 24 emergency service. Very satisfied--will probably call them for estimate on door replacement when the time comes.

They did a very nice job! I got a deal from Angie's List. They guy that did the job was first rate. Once I get the trim fixed, the garage should be 15 degrees warmer than it normally is. They got back to me the same day when I left a message. I am having them come back to put a key pad on the trim when it is finished. They were willing to quote me a price while they were here for the key pad, even though the trim wasn't done yet. I was pleasantly surprised with the price of the garage doors.

The garage door was not staying closed. The light would stay on and the door would remain unlocked. They fixed it. The job went well. They were punctual, responsive and professional. The prices were reasonable. Their products were good.

I sent e-mails to 2 highly rated companies I found on Angie's List. I got a quick response from Overhead Door and we discussed what I currently had for a garage door and opener. They recommended a general door service to be performed when they came out since the installation of the outside keypad wouldn't take very long. Basically, I would pay for a minimum fee that would cover both the time needed for installation and the general service. This is being proactive in offering this service. As it turned out, the service fixed the inconsistent operation of the door closing that had been irritating. They came out and worked quickly and explained what they had done and the keypad and door operations work great. Very happy.

Ordered through my contractor. The first two doors were the wrong size, but they put on a temp door while they reordered and they upgraded the last door at no extra charge. LOVE the opener, it's whisper quiet. The installers were great and Neil(the rep)was very nice and accommodating. Not sure about the total price, it was all in the garage addition price.

Danny B arrived and got everything done in an hour and a half. Very diligent and thorough job done - he also explained what he was doing and gave advice for future maintenance. He was very honest and open about the future of the door and what I can expect going forward. He was excellent. I had done 30 mins of research prior to his arrival so had a grasp of what was needed - it was a smooth process. The company responded to my call within 24 hours of the initial contact. The only thing I was concerned about is their policy of beginning their hourly billing upon leaving the previous job. I live in the center of Washington so would potentially have paid a lot more if the contractor had been stuck in traffic on the way over to me, which seems a bit unfair.

Service tech arrived within the time window estimated, and performed the job efficiently and professionally. My disappointment is with the outrageous price charged for the parts (two springs). The service call took less than 1/2 an hour, and I have no gripe with the charge of a full hour for labor ($84), as I understand that this is typically a minimum increment. Travel time was minimal since I live about 5 minutes from the company's location. What I find inexcusable is the charge of $149 for parts when the two springs installed can be purchased at most any garage door part supplier for less than $20 each-retail price. I expect a certain amount of mark-up for installed parts when using a contractor, but not 4 times the cost. This was for a standard 7' x 8' wooden door, and the extension springs were not anything special. I had priced the parts myself, since I considered making the repair myself, but was busy with other projects when the spring broke, and decided to contract this repair out. I plan to replace both the garage doors (this repair was to one of two matching doors) next summer, and will certainly not consider Overhead Door Co. for that job since I don't enjoy being ripped off by being charged 3 to 4 times the fair price for the materials.

The company was supposed to deliver the panel to us for painting and then return to install it. When the panel was delivered it was the wrong one and they had to take it back and order the right one. While they were very apologetic they were unable to expedite the delivery of the second panel and we had to wait another 2.5 weeks to get it. Then when the second one did arrive they did not show up in the window of time when we were told to expect them. When we called we were told that the driver had gotten lost and would be there in 30-40 minutes. We had another appointment and so had to put off delivery to the next day. The rest of the job went smoothly. We painted the panel and scheduled the rest of the work. The guy showed up on time and installed the panel which looks very nice.

Very well. All in all, I felt I was dealing with a company that took pride in its work and was responsive, despite some slight minor hiccups that I was willing to overlook. From my first phone call, I dealt with highly responsive, professional employees. The estimate was scheduled for the next day convenient to when I needed to be at work. It was a clear and thorough estimate and I had good expectations about what would happen --- and my expectations were fulfilled. Once the garage door was ordered, it takes a few weeks for it to arrive, and then I was contacted to schedule the installation. The installer was a bit delayed which caused me some anxiety, but he of course arrived, apologizing, a few minutes after I called Overhead to check, and they said he was on the way. Installation was smooth. Due to characteristics of my garage being slightly not level due to settling, the final installation would need a bit more vinyl trim to cover the gap left between the garage door and frame, and the installer didn't have enough surplus. He said they'd have to send someone back. When Overhead called me 1 business day afterwards to check on the job and collect the remainder of the payment, the representative said "how did it go, bearing in mind we realize we still need to come back and fix the trim?" I was impressed she knew that and said it proactively. The trim part was scheduled for a Friday and I didn't need to be there. Only hitch was there was a no-show before this holiday weekend, so I was disappointed when I came home to see the work wasn't done. However, at this point, I still had good confidence in the company and assumed this was just a misunderstanding before a holiday weekend. I called to inquire on Monday, and they were apologetic and scheduled it to be done the following day which happened to be Veteran's Day.

They were great. I found them here on Angie's List. They came, repaired a bunch of small things that were wrong with the garage door and it has been working fine ever since (for about 5 months now). I waited for a year or so to find someone to fix the door and glad that I found this company! It was a lot easier than I thought and I expected that I would need a whole new door - but they were able to fix it without a problem.

Al came out to go over the current door structure and assess the job. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The only thing that gave me reservation, was the fact that he would have not mentioned that there was a coupon on an obscure website if I didn't probe. Brandon came out to install the door. He was knowledgeable, professional, and went right to work. No BS or dilly dallying. He was finished well within the time he estimated. He gave me a great overview of the door and adjusted the sensors so they now work. I would certainly use them again. They are a professional organization. The door is a bit scuffed up and it was probably stored that way in the warehouse. They are sending a manager out to look at it this week. It's a minor thing, but when you spend $2000 on a new door, you want it to look new at least for a little while. Overall great experience and I will continue to use them for service going forward.

Our single-car garage door basically fell apart this spring - pieces started breaking off, it would go neither up nor down, and even in the down position the top panel had fallen inward. Overhead Door came out and performed an extensive rehab, restoring it to fine working order. About a month later and after only infrequent use, even more parts fell off and the door was in even worse shape, and I fired off a snarky e-mail to Overhead Door about how their work was no good. Their Angie's List contact, Tim Hardesty, called me the same day, arranged for next day service, and had his team came out to assess and fix the problem (basically that the door has reached the stage where it needs to go to live on a nice farm with other garage doors) at no extra cost. I really appreciated Tim's courtesy, responsiveness, and quick action. When we do replace the door, we will definitely be giving our business to Overhead Door. Sorry for the snarky e-mail, Tim!

Overall, I was very pleased with our experience. The company could not give an estimate over the phone, but as soon as the technician arrived, he saw what the problem was and was able to give me a price. He set to work and was finished within an hour. My one complaint was that Overhead Door gave me an appointment window of 10 am - 3 pm, and the technician didn't arrive until nearly 4 pm. It wasn't until I called to inquire that I was told he was running late.

It went wonderfully. They guy who came out was very knowledgeable and was prompt. I did have a little problem a few days later, when I called, they sent someone out right away. They was no charge for that visit.

They are very proffesional. It went well and they cleaned up after themselves. They were courteous and nice and they tell you exactly what they are going to do. They were responsive.

Overall it went OK. However, the experience was not without its hassles. The salesman really added value, since he provided a lot of useful information during the estimation that made it much easier to compare to other offers and substantially reduced the drama of purchasing something that you only buy once or twice in your life. The installer did a good job installing the door, but had to work all day long doing it because his helper didn't arrive. However, he was not able to make the keypad work correctly. A call later to have this problem corrected met with hostility by the service clerk, who was very unpleasant and hung up on me. A call to the salesman was not returned, I think he quit after he sold us the door but before it was installed. Anyway, he disappeared. They sent someone to wire the keypad correctly, but it still does not work properly.

It took 4 visits to get the job done right. While the fact that it took 4 visits was frustrating, I would actually rate their customer service as excellent. Each time I called to tell them that the door was not installed properly, Ruth apologized for the inconvenience, scheduled an appointment right then and there, and then they showed up on time and when they left, they left the place clean. It's just that it took 4 visits to get the job done right... All in all, though, they were very good. The salesman showed up for our appointment on time, and gave me an estimate on the spot, which they honored when I called back three months later to accept. They showed up on time with the door, and did everything they needed to do to make me a satisfied customer.

I was very satisfied with the estimate and the professionalism of this contractor. He was not pushy, showed me exactly what it is I would be purchasing and having installed, and didn t act any differently when I told him it wasn t in my budget currently to do so. I will most likely use his services again this fall.

We called on Thursday and received an appointment for Monday between 10 and 3. It was not an emergency so a 3 work day wait was fine. The representative arrived at noon and spent about an hour inspecting, adjusting, and servicing the two garage doors. We were very pleased with his attentiveness and for explaining what the doors actually required without doing more than required. The cost seemed a little high, but we were impressed and appreciative that he didn't try to sell us new garage doors or a new garage door opener when the electrical outlet was the problem. He also seemed to give us a fair assessment on the remaining life expectancy of the garage doors. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and will use this company again.

Sales representative was very knowledgeable and provided good recommendations. The motor includes many features, such as light, quiet operation, and keypad. Compare to other quotes I got, they had the best price/quality combination.

Very professional and excellent customer service.

Excellent. Old door was removed efficiently and taken for disposal. New door was installed professionally and efficiently with only minor issues (e.g., location of switch not confirmed before installation). A minor problem was recognized and corrected on a timely basis. The garage was thoroughly cleaned after the work had been completed, and we were shown how to use and set the door options. Quality of the workmanship, door, and opener all appear to be excellent. The reason that N/A is checked for Price is that no other vendor offered a door with as high an insulation (R) rating, so we have no price comparison.

The estimator was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He arrived within 15 minutes of our scheduled appointment. The person taking my initial call was also very polite and helpful.

Great experience. The salesman who came out to help me select the door listened to my needs and did not try to pressure me into purchasing an expensive door. I picked the door that suited my needs/style and he helped me stay under/within budget - perfect. The company called me about three weeks later, as promised, to schedule the installation. The two man team showed up on time. They were very professional, installed the door and cleaned up the garage when they were finished. The door looks great and the entire experience was pleasurable and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to replace a garage door and/or repair an existing one.
