This is a wonderful company. I just moved from Virginia to California. From my first contact with Tashara to the drivers who delivered my furniture (Roger and Mike), the whole process was smooth and professional. They understand how stressful moving can be and they will work with you to make sure that your goods will be delivered to you as you gave it to them. I had no problems with missing or broken items, and the drivers communicated with me about the arrival day and time. I would recommend this relocation company to anyone who wants to deal with upright and professional people.

Mashav movers has excellent customer service ,fair prices and professional movers! I had to move quickly from NY to DC when I got a new job so I did some research and choose Mashav relocation as my moving company and I am soooo happy I did!!... (two other co-workers of mine used them as well and we're very happy) .They handled my belonging with care (including my mom's old piano) and even helped me put my furniture back together at our new place.I just hired them again to move me to a condo in MD and they did a great job again. I would highly recommend you give these guys a call !

After having checked several companies, I felt my main concerns were eased after talking with their representative, Mae. We chose them because of the initial cost assessment and especially from talking with her about specifics that would ensure our goods travelling would arrive in the same condition as when leaving Md. I found that the majority of my main concerns turned out to not go as she said and there was considerable damage to my family heirlooms (deep scratches, gouges, punctures, broken legs and finishes ruined), our couch (6 inch box cutter slice through the leather), etc One of the assurances Mae told me was that the same packers we observed and talked with throughout the day loading the truck would be going with the truck to Cali. They do a background check and only use their own guys for this reason..This is what I was told in answer to my specific question. In any case, not a single guy we watched handle our things went with them. All different people unloaded in Sacramento. has Another example...ability to pay the second half of the bill in Cali using the same card I already paid the 50% deposit. These again, were specific concerns I had and was told by their representative, Mae, that I could do. I took notes during our initial discussion so I did not forget or get it wrong myself.I still have that paper. However, on the day before delivery, Mike said I could not pay with the same card I paid the deposit. "it's in the contract you signed." Since Mae had told me I could, I trusted and did not make a crew of 6 guys hang around while I spent 30 minutes reading that lengthy tiny print contract. It does say that the driver will only accept cash or bank check. Why would she tell me differently in the initial phone interview? I would have crossed them off of my list since I knew I wouldn't have $6,000 in cash. Another issue was their "insurance" policy that could be purchased separately. It said items the homeowner packed would not be covered. Since we already packed everything in the 4 bedroom house, we did not see any benefit to purchasing that policy. However, be aware, that the movers taping a blanket to your antiques does constitute as "PACKING" so all of the heirlooms damaged were not covered and we had to fight fight fight with the illegitimate and unprofessional "NEUTRAL" settlement agency (Customer Service Inc. or Ink) to even get 60 cents per pound that is also in their contract!!! I am so disgusted. The truck driver named Eric that they sub contracted with to deliver our home goods in California was rather disrespectful and tried to put off my concerns again about damaging the furniture. I mentioned to another 4 guys all the antiques under the blankets and to please be careful. He acted indignant that I was worried about my own things, many inherited. Well, lo and behold, the proof of how our furniture was treated along the way was very evident and unfortunately, permanent. Chunks and pieces broken off the ornate carvings or inlaid veneers. Finishes actually MELTED with those blankets against it so I have a desk with blue fuzz sticking out of the sides. Ruined. To be so mislead about the quality and safety of our family heirlooms and boxes in general (many were crushed and had been upside down. Just a mess. Mike Hodara is the owner of Mashav's whose logo is "MOVING WITH TRUST" They broke every trust and frankly with many more details than I can write here, I believe are purposely misleading to get your deposit. The so called 3rd party who is supposed to be neutral is everything but neutral. They are not even legitimate business according to the attorney general of California and Better Business Bureau. Considering their website at Customer Service, Inc had the BBB logo at the bottom, obviously they are a scam when not a member nor does the state have them listed as a business at all. In the end, the damage to 9 pieces of furniture was compensated by $320. We paid $12,000 to Mashav's for the move. $320 won't fix 2 pieces. One thing was said in honesty...Jasmine C.;who finally identified herself as the claims supervisor of Customer Service Inc after 5 dialogues with her, said all moving companies are a rip off, and she would never use them because they don't care about your stuff.

THE MEN WERE GREAT VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KIND I WILL ALWAYS USE THEM WITH EVERY MOVE I HAVE IN THE FUTURE

Overall I am very happy with the service. Great customer service very straightforward, fair price and professional movers. My shipment arrived on time and in excellent condition. Mashav Relocation did an excellent job! Thanks for the fast respond and good service!

I used this company to move my mom's 2 bedrooms apartment from Rockville MD to Richmond VA. the crew arrived exactly on 7am and start to pack all of my stuff. as soon they arrived I went down the road to get some breakfast and I came back to the apartment in 45 minutes the all kithcen was packed inside boxes and ready to go. they finished to pack and load the all apartment in about 3.5 hrs. Extremely fast!! once they got to new location it only took them 1.5 hrs to unload the all truck. the three guys was very professional and super friendly. the best thing was that someone from there office called me 2 days later to make sure I am happy with service.overall: smooth move, no damages super fast and fair price. thank you Mashav.
