Told it was a local company. Offices in 4 mid Atlantic states is not a local company. Technician was great.

Prompt, thorough and efficient service. I would hire them again.

Pricing is a little obscure - $300+ per pound of refrigerant, put in 3 pounds, but my bill was only $250. Wonder why this is necessary.

Very polite and professional. I realize my system should be replaced, but could only afford a repair. I was given options but did not feel pressured.

Our HVAC died and they were at our house that afternoon, gave us quotes an hour later and came early the next morning to replace it. Super professional all the way

Amazing service!

The technician and service were fantastic. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Customer service was also good but making the appointment was a bit frustrating. On Home Advisor the company had a link for customers to book online. I took advantage of this feature, and received a confirmation from Home Advisor. I then received a call from the company to set up an appointment and they did not honor the appointment time I had booked online. When I asked why I was simply told that they were all booked up. Overall it was a good experience, however, online booking should not be offered if it will not be honored.

Technician was prompt, competent, and professional. In addition to the service rendered which was to repair my air conditioner unit, I signed up for an annual service agreement with Horizon.

Professional and quick response to problem

I have lived in this house for 26 years and this is BY FAR the WORST experience I have had with a repair contractor. I would tell people to never call or recommend this company to anyone! I called them on a Saturday because they offer same day service and I had no heat and yes they did come out the same day (which is certainly something)... the young man took one look at my problem and immediately recommended a new system. He told me my system (only 8 years old) was shot and that I could begin replacing parts but that would run me $4000.00. When I asked him why I would not just replace the system at that point, he immediately called his salesperson and made an appointment for me to meet with her the very next day. At that point, my *radar* should have gone off, but it did not. Horizon provided me with a ridiculous estimate to replace the system for $10,000.00 which I knew was way high. I ended up with a mid-priced Rheem system for $6000.00 installed by another contractor. But it does not end there, not even close! A month after the install, I started having the same problem I had started with: faulty thermostat wiring. The contractor who ultimately fixed the problem indicated that this was my problem all along and I very likely did not need a new system at all. I was the victim of an overly-aggressive Horizon employee who was merely out to sell me a new system at any and all cost. Do not use this company! They only want to sell you new equipment! When I called Horizon Services to voice my displeasure with the result of my experience, they offered me the cost of the service call :$99.00 and nothing more! They said they stand by their original estimate! Which was wrong!!! And that original estimate ended up costing me $6000.00 that I did not need to spend!

When they come to install my unit, the rep brought in so much dirt, I had to clean my carpet. Overall the work was good. Shop around before picking a company. They have sales rep waiting to sell you what you don't need.

I didn’t spend any money. After visit they didn’t find what is wrong with my hvac. It continues to make the loudest noise when it stops heating.

Very impressed with Clifford, he was very responsive to all my concerns and even came over to install the unit on his day off because I requested him personally. He continues to answer any questions I have had after the installation.

My experience with Horizon Services (MD), LLC was excellent. The servicing technician was friendly and willing to explain what needed to be done. There was no pressure to purchase any additional services--rather, the technician provided the rationale for proceeding in a certain direction and offered his recommendations.
