Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for 22 Apr and the contractor never showed up. When I called him for the second time that afternoon, he said he had called me three times and left a message. I received no calls from this person.

Description of Work: I knew 4 hours might not be enoguh to cover the work but I did not expect the cost to be an additional $630 for a 6 x 3 section of sidewalk. The company offered to do other work for 99 dollars including minor repairs of cracks or power washing but I did not get a sense that any job would be finished. I've contracted to do the same sidewalk section for $350 including materials and haul away. GO Construction wasn't going to do anymore than this company will do. I'd like my money back.

Description of Work: bought the deal - seemed like a good price. telephoned and left messages a number of times trying to get appointment to start the project. They never responded at all - not even a return call to tell me they were too busy - nothing!!! because they were completely unresponsive I cannot judge the quality of their work.

Description of Work: Had a hard time getting them to respond once I purchased the coupon. I took pics and took detailed measurements so that he wouldn't have to come all of the way out here. His quote was outrageous for what I was asking for. A small walkway (4 feet total) was going to cost me $5600, but with my coupon I could get slight discount off of the bid price. I responded that I just wanted 4 hours of work, and then we could go from there. He didn't want to do that.

Description of Work: The terms of the agreement was 4 manhours of work for $99.00. The owner estimated that the work would cost $450 of manhours for additional work that we wished to have done. The workers showed up on time and finished the entire job in 2 and 1/2 hours.....or only 1 manhour more than the original Angie's List offer. $450 for the extra hour seems excessive......especially since the 50% off rate translates to a 'regular' rate $200 per hour. To make matters worse, the laborers asked for additional money over and beyond the $549( the original purchase of $ 99 and the $450 we gave them) - to pay for work they claimed was not part of the original agreement.

Description of Work: I had a brick in my Lead-up walk to the front door that had been installed poorly with cement bleeding over the brick. Also had cracks in the grouted ares of my courtyard. I took advantage of the 4hr/$99 offer by Go Contractors Group to repair same. This was several months ago, in the Fall. The manager did come out promptly to assess the work within the week, however, I was supposed to get a call to complete the work, and that didn't come. After several calls, without a response, I did call Angie's List, and after they got involved, I got immediate responses. The work was completed promptly and they did a beautiful job!

Description of Work: I have used this contractor before and thought I could again. Mr. Gomez didn't return most of my calls, but took the order form and said he would honor the discount (in Oct.) He did come by the house once to look at the job. Never got back to me. In the meantime I saw another big deal from you for $799 and bought it.

Description of Work: GO contractors came in on a Angie's List Coupon, they did a superb job taking apart and rebuilding a set of stone steps in front of our house.

Description of Work: We were very pleased with the service. We had our front stairs and walkway repaired, and the two men who did the job did excellent work. They were polite, efficient, and capable.

Description of Work: We were surprised that the Angie's List deal that was advertised as 4 hours of masonry work was for 2 hours for 2 masons. The brick repair we needed could have been done by one mason in 4 hours. We were up sold to a two day job involving 72 sq feet of brick work for $1296.00. No mention of mason hours or number of workers needed. The estimate included a discount of $250, $99 of which we have already paid for. Apples and oranges. Needless to say we are getting other estimates and will probably ask for our money to be returned.

Description of Work: GoContractors were asked to convert a brick-in-sand, 10 x 10 ft. patio on a steep hill into a fully cemented brick patio. They were to use the bricks at hand (including extra unused bricks). The two-man team accomplished this within a day--essentially destroying the original, digging down deeper into the hillside, adding/leveling gravel, adding/leveling cement, laying bricks. Magnificent work--except for the fact that the new patio lay considerably lower on the hillside than the original, leaving an overhang of some 12" of unrestrained dirt that, with the first rainfall, would have covered the new patio. I pointed this out to the team, they called their supervisor, and we agreed that for another $200 they would construct a wall at that edge of the patio to prevent any mudslide. The result was lovely and effective, but the price (due, no doubt, to my ignorance of masonry labor-costs) was far more than I'd originally imagined when I bought "The Big Deal."

Description of Work: No services were performed. After purchasing the big deal, I called and left a voice message. I never heard from anyone. When more than a week had passed after I called and no one returned my call, I cancelled my big deal purchase.

Description of Work: Fixed a job botched --stone front steps and porch floor--by another contractor. Had to call a couple of times initially to connect, but after that a very good working relationship ensued and GO did nice efficient work. Would recommend to others.
