Description of Work: Did not show up for appointment. Did not email or call to reschedule appointment. How do I get my money back from Angie's List?

Description of Work: The provider did nothing. I purchased an Angie's List coupon and the appointment was a no-show. The company did come out to give me an estimate but never returned my phone calls to inquire about the appointment that I sought for 4 hours worth of work. I will be seeking a refund.

Description of Work: GO Contractors Group, don't show up for appointments and when they did gave me the run around about when they would fix my steps and sure up my brick wall. I find this company definitely unprofessional.

Description of Work: The GO owner came over to look at our job. Which is cleaning up our brick (scraping and repointing). GO gave us estimates based on pie-in-the-sky for more work than we were interested in. Not sure where he gets his numbers but we're not interested.

Description of Work: The service provider was very responsive with setting appointment and reconfirming a time change, not date change for service. Unfortunately the service provider was a no-show and did not call to state status of arrival. After 1/2 hour from confirmed service time called the telephone number shown on Angie's List. No answer, left message, then contacted Angie's List. The representative with Angie's list was helpful in closing this matter out.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal that the company offered. The next day the company contacted me via Angie's List messages with a scheduled date & time. The email did not include the person's name nor contact information. I replied to the message & asked for someone to call me & included my phone#. I also phoned the company & left a voice mail message asking for someone to call me to discuss my situation. I never received a phone call. Instead I received a short message stating the purpose of the meeting was to discuss my situation. So I confirmed the appointment's date & time. Unfortunately, the company did not show up for the appointment. I emailed them asking if our appointment was still on but never received a reply. No one from the company has contacted me up to the time I am writing this review.

Description of Work: G.O. Contractors Group, LTD. came to my house to inspect the work, as well as additional work that I informed them I would pay for as a separate job. I never received the final estimate nor a call back on when the pre-paid work would be performed. I have called several times to no avail.

Description of Work: I've contacted Nestor at GO Contractors Group 12 times since purchasing a Big Deal December 2012. He has come buy my house to look at the work, but refuses to give me a date and time on which the work will be done. I leave messages, and when he does call back (about half the time), he says he doesn't have his schedule book with him and that he'll call me back later to schedule - though he never does.

Description of Work: Bought the deal - never heard from them - called and emailed took a long time to get a response. The contractor's english was very difficult to understand. They eventually came for an estimate. Then didn't hear from them. Called and emailed again - contractor couldn't remember who we were asked to remind them of what day they came (as they had no records.) Simply became too hard to be worth continuing.

Description of Work: I had someone come out to give me an estimate to repair my stone walkway (2 stones) and the estimate given was over $1000.

Description of Work: I called them after purchasing the deal and set up a time for them to come look at the project. They never showed up or called. I called multiple times and left a message and they never responded. Consequently, I will find someone else to do this work (which was minor) and a major project that we are planning. Too bad for them, they are losing out on a large-scale project because they wouldn't show up for a small one.

Description of Work: Contacted contractor - several phone calls and he did come out for estimate. Wanted to do a bigger job and that estimate was approx 4000.00 by I did not want that . So he said he would do the job closer to spring which was ok. I called him again ( several times ) and he said he was going to come out again and do the job on a certain date . He did not come or call and I have not been able to reach him again. I have left several messages and at this point have no interest in continuing to try as he is not reliable and I don't need that !!!

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for 4 hours of masonry repair; Mr. Gomez was very responsive and provided a reasonable and prompt estimate to reapair some mortar/bricks on my chimney. I will consider working with this company in the near future. However, I'm unable to move forward with the proposed work at this time.

Description of Work: The company was very responsive to my phone calls and e-mails. They gave me an additional estimate for work that was required however since I was selling the home, I was not interested in the additional work. If we were staying in the home, I would definitely use the company's services.

Description of Work: Did: 1. Remove old steps (2) and waste 2. Re-barred and chicken-wired within frame to keep steps in place. 3. Arrived late, but stayed to complete the entire job. 4. Was professional, and showed great skill in the performance of rebuilding the steps. 5. Unknown to me, at the time, Mr. Gomez did come pass to review the progress of his workers. Didn't: 1. Advise me up front what to expect in the process of caring for the steps. 2. Treat me as If I didn't know anything about concrete, which I didn't, and bring me up to speed, and tell me everything. Upon my request for info and his review, did provide such in a very timely manner. After 3 1/2 days, I stepped on the steps and left some slight imprints. All-in-all, it was a good experience. Advised me that the steps didn't require any care after 1 day of settling.

Description of Work: In the end, I wasn't able to make arrangements to get my room painted. I called them initially sometime in mid-March to set up an appointment. I heard back about a week after my first attempt to reach them. I told them I wanted 1 room painted, and they stated that they needed to check out the room. (I'm not really sure why, since if they have any questions I can just tell them over the phone. It seems I could have saved them a visit.) In any case, there was some confusion about the appointment. I thought I had set up an appointment for Monday, and they said the appointment was for Tuesday. Either way, the Tuesday appointment would have worked if they had shown up on time. I had tried to make arrangments again about 2 weeks later. I left several messages and called several more times. Each time I called, I would get an answering machine. I never received a call back.
