Description of Work: They worked on my front and back doors, including the storm doors. The alignment is much better - and the front door opens and locks without having to pull on it. The fit also feels tighter. The front storm door now actually closes. My only problem - need to call them to re-visit - is that I am still getting a lot of air coming in through the front door. I may need to replace the door - which I cannot afford at this time.

Description of Work: I purchased the "$99 for 3 hours of door maintenance" special. My back door was uneven - large gap at the top, cold air coming in from the side of the door and the door was difficult to open. Service was originally scheduled for the week of December 14th, 2014, but I never heard from Contractor. Contractor contacted me in January. They came out and did the work (8:30a-11:30a)and although the door opens/closes easily now, I still have a gap at the top of the door and cold air is still coming in from the side of the door. They assured me they would be able to line the door up with the alarm sensor. They tried and couldn't and it cost me $25 to have the alarm company come out and fix/line-up the sensor. While working at my house, they noticed an area at my entrance way where I needed drywall work and they offered to patch that area for $50 - they did an excellent job on the patch repair.

Description of Work: Angie's List special. Owner fixed one very badly misaligned exterior French storm door and one interior door misaligned plate. Very professional, courteous, respectful and knowledgable. He explained what he did and had me check to ensure I was satisfied. My one suggestion is that he set better expectations for arrival time - instead of 2hour window, maybe a 3 or 4 hour window.

Description of Work: I don't even remember this provider doing work. I'm only writing this because Angie's List is making me. This review is of Angie's List, which needs to stop harassing customers for reviews. Reviews should be voluntary, not mandatory.

Description of Work: The contractor arrived later than we originally agreed, so I was not able to be on site when he completed the job. I was not satisfied with the job and sent him a message and pictures explaining that. He called to say he agreed that the finished product was not up to his usual standards and scheduled a time to return and do some of the work over. I was very pleased with his professionalism and, ultimately, with the job he performed.

Description of Work: I requested a contractor to repair the chimney, because we are getting water in the basement from the cleanout when it rains. I found out that we have mortar erosion and will need to have the bricks pointed at the top of the chimney. G. O. Contractors Group came out and said that they couldn't perform this service, however we found another company that will do the repairs for us. Therefore I'm requesting a refund of $99.00 for Order# 1458586.

Description of Work: I ordered the deal. The company sent me an email stating they would call on Aug 19, 2014. He didn't call on the 19th. I called him on Aug 20 and he told me he would call me back in half an hour - he didn't call back. I left several messages and finally on Aug 22 the owner called me in the morning and told me he would call me by the end of business on Aug 22. He never called back. Please refund the money. Description of Work: Replaced 5 bricks, patched brick area above garage where basketball hoop was removed, patched mortar on front stoop, scraped, sanded and painted front door and surround. | |We had a bit of trouble getting the job scheduled, but once scheduled they came on the date promised. They did a good job on the brick repairs. The mortar on the front stoop did not match the existing mortar, but we had been warned it probably wouldn't. Maybe they could have come closer, but they appeared to use regular mortar and not attempt a match. Over time it will probably be ok. Painting had a few problems. They promised to use Benjamin Moore paint, but did not. Painting of window sidelights was a bit sloppy with paint on the window next to the wood trim. They did correct it after it was pointed out. |Would use them for brick work in the future. Not so sure about painting.

Description of Work: He relaid my brick patio so it was higher and level -- unlaid with gravel then sand. He also rebuilt the steps to my basement, making them wider and safer. And did a very good job of cleaning up. He also said he would finish the jobs in 2 days - and it was two very long days, but he did it1

Description of Work: They appraised a masonry repair and said that they would try to find a matching brick for my needed repairs. Never called and haven't responded to my emails. |Very disappointed. How can a masonry repair service not have access to bricks?
