I needed work performed to the stone wall in front of my house. They were very late and did not call, approximately a morning appointment and they came around 4 pm. The workers themselves were good and professional when they did arrive. They left the area neat. |Initially, the supervisor came out to evaluate the work. It was clear that his focus was on generating more work. Please note that I need other things done but this was not my focus at this time

I got this 'deal' to have the cement fixed around the bricks of my front outdoor step. It was crumbling and the bricks were loose. | |The owner came promptly after I called as scheduled to do the estimate. He said he thought the work could be done for the $99 but that it would be extra if it went over the 4 hour deal. | |He said he'd have his workers come that week. Long story short, the work got done but scheduling was a hassle. It looks nice but the cement mix is grey, not white/beige like before. I don't know masonry so don't know if it's done well. | |I wasn't charged more than $99. | |I imagine the scheduling difficulty was due to a great demand w/the deal. Didn't come a couple times as scheduled. Was not responsive immediately when I contacted him. Called the morning the work was actually done. I wasn't home and wouldn't have been able to monitor work/time if I was charged more. Hopefully, if he uses Angie's more often, he will get better at scheduling.

They were not responsive. Took many months for the project to be completed. A total scam in the sense that they require a $250 concrete disposal fee despite the deal including demolition. The deal does not have an exclusion for this fee. Also he said it would be waived in an e-mail because we were only using 70 of the 100sq feet that was paid for. On the day of service he called and said we owed him $250. Negotiated to pay $200 because he said otherwise the job would not be completed. The concrete was done done properly, is not level and I fear will have to be re-done. Overall a nightmare of an experience.

It's been a terrible experience. They were supposed to come out 3 times and never showed up (and I took time off work for the appointments). The owner told me he would need to charge extra for the glaze that would go over the repairs. When they finally did come out, the work was terrible and the grout does not match the pre-existing grout and they also did not bring the glaze at all. I called them to let them know that I was completely unsatisfied and that they needed to come fix the work. The man who came out to "fix" the grout simply took a finger of grout and wiped it over the grout they had used. I told him that was not the correct way to fix it and he simply walked out. He just walked away and left. I am extremely unahppy with this Big Deal and am initiating the Angie's List complaint resolution process immediately as a pre-court option.

I feel as if it was a bait and switch. I had a very small job and he quoted that I would need 6 hours of 2 men, over $600 worth of work. I was not given a written estimate. I felt that it was overpriced.

I purchased the Big Deal for G.O. Contractors Group, LTD.

They did a great job, found areas to patch that we hadn't seen..and didn't charge more! the arrived on time, worked hard and did a very professional job.

I brought some concerns to Mr. Gomez's attention, and he said he would look at the work, but I never heard back. I can say that my brick structure is better than it was before they arrived.

I left multiple messages and they never responded. They failed to show up to do the work.

Had bought the Deal for $99 for four hours of labor on masonry repair. To repair a terrace wall that had been hit by a tree after a recent hurricane. Damaged knocked down side of wall/stiar area. was able to reassemble like a jigsaw puzzle. Needed masonry repair to put it back together and cement it. Called G.O. Early November. Nesotr, the owner answered. He came out the next day. Looked at job. Gave estimate of $200. I asked, it would need $200 for materials? what about the $99 four hours labor? I gave him a copy of the voucher. He said he'd come out the next MOnday to do the work. AFTER close to four weeks, he never came out, despite three more calls to him. Always an excuse. Had also asked him for an estimate on doing a cement pad in bacxk yard. NEVER got that either. called Anmgie's List on Dec 2, and comlained. Felt it was a fruad. Asked for help on getting another contracotr. Was told I would get a refund on the $99 . STILL have not heard anything from Angie's list.....disappointment.

He came out, was very responsive, took a look at our property, put together some ideas of all the issues we had and wanted, gave us a quote and overall did a great job. He showed he had a real commitment to the job, would have done a thorough job, covered all the details but we decided to put this project off for a year. His customer service was also outstanding.

It worked out really well. They were on time and on budget.

. NOTHIN ever done. no conatctys. {PLUS, he never answered the inquiry about materila costs. It appeard to me to be a come on. NOTHIN ever done, despite about four contacts with Nestor. Each time, he said he would send someone out in a day or tow. and would call me first Nesotr never called me, despite my repeated attempts and conversations with him. Feel that Nestor and GO Contracging would pocket the $99 and charge again for labor. recommend that EVERYONE STEER CLEAR of this guy and GO OCntarcting. NOT HONEST or RELIABLE. NOTE: The hi marks for puncutalioty onlyh for his coming out the first time.AFter that NOYTHIN but f's.

They demolished four crumbling concrete steps and rebuilt them, resetting the hand rail. They also power-washed my front stoop and filled in missing mortar around the footings of that iron railing.

Nestor from G.O. contractors came for initial appointment and quote it went well. The person I own house with wanted a second opinion, because she thought the quote was high, I thought it was good. We received a second opinion which was higher, but the part owner chose the second contractor ( because they had an A star rating ) who did an excellent job and did it quickly.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out great. They were responsive. They did a great job and I think they were reasonably priced compared to some other quotes that I got. They discounted the big deal purchase off of a larger job, the total cost was about $800.

Fill mortar in bricks on front of house, and fireplace outside and one|strip inside fireplace.

The bid deal was for 100 square feet and I asked them to include the front part of the driveway as well. They were very prompt and neat and professional and polite. I have received compliments on the work and I am so glad to get it done so quickly.|

I wanted to have some gaps in the pointing filled on the front and side steps to a private home (4 steps and a landing in front, 3 steps and a landing on the side). A representative came to examine the work, and said he would send two persons for two hours to do the job (4 person hours as per the "deal") After several contacts, they finally arrived (late, fortunately my wife was home). |The net effect is that it took two men two hours to patch the front stairs. They also asked for a materials cost of $ 25.00 (my guess is between a quart and half gallon of cement was used). |The quality of the work is OK, but not as crisply finished as the rest of the pointing on the front of the house. |I feel that I can do the side stairs myself in less time and with far less hastle than asking them to return. |

After a couple missed appointments and several calls, Nestor finally came over to look at my house and take some pics. Two months later, I'm still waiting for the work to be done. More missed appointments and a general lack of professionalism - the work still hasn't been done. I want my money back. Update: After being stood up a couple times, Nestor's guys finally came over to do the work. The work was done well and to my satisfaction. With some better job management and customer communication, could be an A, but have to dock it down to a C for all the time I wasted.

Mr. Gomez came by and we walked about the house looking at issues, he is very good at seeing areas needing work, and showed me some things that I had not noticed. We worked up an estimate for fixing areas in the brick mortar that needed to be removed and replaced. I added in the repair of a safety railing on top of the outside basement steps, after 50 years the metal railing's mounting post area had rusted out and the concrete pad was gone, some bricks needed replacement. Mr. Gomez gave me his recommendations and cost estimate on fixing it, and he was spot on for what was needed. During the work on the metal railing where I thought we had only one support post rusted out, they found that all of the post were rusted ( 3 instead of 1), his change order for additional work was provide and accepted. Overall they did a great job on the repair. Price for the additional 2 post was not just two times the one post, he recognized that he was already on sight with the welder and the cost should not be the same for one as three. Fair and just in his cost estimates. Good job on trying to match the color of the old mortar, visually the job looks very good. I am happy with his work and would hire them again for more work.

After I bought the deal, the vendor came to the house to look at the job. He tried to interest me in a much more extensive project. I asked him to provide me with an estimate for the larger project so that I could consider it for the future, and also to come the following week to perform the services described in the deal. We agreed to the scope for 4 hours of work and agreed to a time frame for both the work to be performed and the estimate to be provided. I never heard from him again, despite attempts to contact him.

Their work was good. Obviously I have to trust them since I do not get on the roof myself, but I feel that they did an adequate job.

Workmen were professional. The work was completed in a timely manner. Cleanup was very well done.
