It talk a very long time for the contractor to get to me to look at the job and then another long time before they got around to it. I realize it was a very small job, but still. Anyway, once they did the work, all was fine and they did a good job.

Description of Work: We contacted Go Contractors at least 4-5 times and they promised they would do the brick replacement we needed. We paid the BIg Deal price. They never did the work. We want our money back. I don't know how they ended up on Angies's List with a good rating.

Description of Work: We had an entire cement set of stairs (about 9 steps) from our driveway to the back yard demolished and entirely re-built. We had a large elevated stone patio, sidewalks and 3 sets of stairs power washed. We had about 40 percent of our 15 year old slate patio's grout redone. We had 20-30l bricks on retaining walls regrouted. Mr Comez met with me to outline the project and sent me a written proposal. No changes were needed in the proposal. The workcrew of 3 came on time and worked very hard during the day and always cleaned up before they left. We were entirely satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the company. I will definitely use this company again and highly recommend it to anyone else. I used the $99 coupon from Angies list which was worth $250. In addition, Mr. Gomez gave me a 10% discount because I am a member of Angie's list. This is an excellent company and Mr. Gomez is a gem to work with during the process.

Mr. Gomez was supposed to come to the house to take a look at what needed to be done but he never showed up and didn't call. I asked for a refund of the Big Deal from Angie and got it. Hey, if you don't show up to take a look at the work, how do I know you're going to show up to DO the work? UPDATE: Mr. Gomez sent me an email saying that he had showed up at my house a week after we had scheduled him to look at the project. I had him on my schedule for August 20th. He showed up on August 27th. He said there must have been a miscommunication. I know I didn't miscommunicate because the day he showed up, I was 2,000 miles away on vacation. But, to be fair, I changed my ratings. I would have changed the overall rating to N/A but Angie wouldn't let me. So, because scheduling is a part of business, I gave him a "C." Maybe Mr. Gomez does a great job. Other people think he does. I won't know because I have hired someone else. Hopefully they'll show up.

One man showed up, looked at what needed to be done and told me he would send a team out that week to do the work. He didn't get back to me. I emailed the next week and he responded, saying he would get back to me. He didn't. It has been two weeks since our first appointment and no work has been done. I have now sent several emails and made phone calls but they have disappeared. I am generously giving them the remainder of this week before requesting my money back. I would NOT use this company in the future. Angie - I love you, but please tell your companies NOT to use the Big Deal offers if they cannot handle the business. This is unfair to Angie's List members.

Description of Work: Mr Gomez was very responsive & returned my voicemail within a few hours. We set up a meeting time and he was very punctual- even calling from outside my home to let me know he was there. He was very methodical & detailed and took great notes as he assessed my project- which involved repair of a retaining wall & various other large scale masonry jobs- exterior steps & pillars under house. A few hours later I received a detailed PDF describing each step of the job. I felt very comfortable in my understanding of the process & immeidately accepted the bid. The following week, his crew arrived on schedule and worked for 12 hours straight. They tackled both the front & the back of the house & cleaned up the entire area before returning the next day. They were polite & courteous which I definitely appreciated. This job was done in a very timely, professional & top notch way. I have already requested an estimate for my next job. I highly recommend G.O Contractors.
