This was my 2nd time using Ed's Tree Service. Last year was the first time and we hired Ed's on referral from our next-door neighbor with whom we share a very large tree and were getting some routine trimming performed. This year, I combed Angie's List for someone to service our trees again however was interested in getting more information on addressing a very large tree next to our home that has a hole in it that made us concerned about stability. After meeting with >5 contractors we went with Ed's after they looked at the work and deemed the tree to be stable (we heard everything from cutting down the entire tree which is >50ft tall to leaving it alone). After contacting Ed's we scheduled them to come out. The crew came out approximately 3 days later and completely the job in several hours. We were happy with the job as they crew did exactly what was spelled out in the estimate. What impressed me most about Ed's was when I went to review their company on Angie's List I noted they offered a 10% discount for Angie's List customers. I wasn't sure if they would honor the discount retroactively particularly since we'd hired them once before (prior to becoming Angie's List members). When I contacted them they were more than happy to honor the discount. I just received the refund check in the mail after being called by the company to tell me that the "check was in the mail". I would definitely recommend Ed's Tree Service for their professionalism and good customer service.

Ed's Tree Service, provided an estimate in a timely fashion, and followed up with phone calls to make sure I got the estimate and if I had questions etc. They are very nice people to work with. I did not hire them because of the price $100 more than the other estimate and I needed to take the lowest price.

The service was spectacular. I spoke to several staff members along the way and was in the loop for a rain-delay and during the take down itself. I knew when I got home that day everything would be fine, and it was. Finding a good tree service was among the top 3 reasons I joined Angie's List. That was a very good idea!

He is excellent and I can't say enough good about him. His prices were very reasonable and did twice the work.

High winds on New Year's Eve left fallen trees and limbs in my back yard. I contacted Ed's Tree Service after finding them on Angie's List. They were able to come out and get me an estimate very quickly in spite of it being a holiday. Several tree service companies came by but the knowledge of the type of trees and professionalism was lacking. Ed's Tree Service worked well with the insurance adjuster and when they came to remove the fallen trees and limbs they were very punctual and the services were performed in an exceptional manner.

Quick response for a bid. Answered all my questions about why their price was different from a competitors. Ed and Ali trimmed the trees and clearly loved what they do. The quality of the work was great and the clean-up was way beyond expectation. Very good communication during the two-day process. The trees look amazing.

The work was performed professionally and with excellent attention to minimizing disturbance to other trees and structures. They called to confirm arrival times for both the estimate and the actual work. Their price was very competitive with other quotes I received. Although they were not quite the lowest estimate, I chose them over the low bidder because they impressed me as operating in a more professional manner, showing up exactly when they promised, and confirming the appointment, which the low bidder did not do. I'm extremely pleased with the work performed and would recommend them highly.

Ed's was easy to work with from start to finish. They were prompt in responding to our request for a quote, followed up afterwards to see if we had any questions, quickly scheduled our work, even answered calls on a Sunday. Our neighbors watched the work being done and were very impressed with how professionally the work was done. An effortless relationship.

All women that cut trees do a fantastic job. This was something that really surprised me because I was expecting a tall and very muscular guy to do the job. It turned out to be a very professional woman that did the job and I was very happy with the work that she did.

Alice returned calls and arrived promptly. Written estimate was clear on price and what was included. She recommended which trees should be removed to brighten up a dark, gloomy yard. Crew arrived on schedule, the men were polite and efficient, removed the trees and trimmings and raked, chipped and hauled all the debris, after they had walked around with me at the end, trimming the remaining trees, until I was satisfied. Alice returned to inspect her crews work. GREAT JOB!

They visited promptly and gave us a bid. We found another company with a lower bid that we had used before and liked and went with them. No reason, though, not to be interested in Ed's Tree Service.

Ed's tree service was the first to provide a quote, was professional, polite and knowledgeable. The only reason I did not use them was because their price was higher than the service I selected.

They are prompt, neat, clean, & reliable. They performed estimate in a few days and offered 10% discount. There was no hard sell. The work was performed neatly and professionally. They trimmed while I was away at work and there was no mess to clean up. I relied on their expertise. Thinning maples made a huge difference in increasing light in front yard. They didn't remove as much from the elm as I expected. The price seemed reasonable and close to other estimates.

GOOD WORKERS, EXCELLENT QUOTE (HALF THE COST OF OTHER ESTIMATES) AND THEY LEFT THE OUTSIDE AREA CLEAR OF DEBRIS. THE OWNER RETURNED AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED TO CHECK THE WORK.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM OF ED'S TREE SERVICE. THEIR ESTIMATE WAS MORE REASONABLE THAN SEVERAL OTHER TREE SERVICES, AND THEY HELPED IDENTIFY SOME POTENTIAL PROBLEMS FOR US TO AVOID ADDITIONAL EXPENSES DOWN THE ROAD.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB. VERY NEAT ABOUT THEIR WORK. THEY ARE PUNCTUAL. THEY CAME TO US IMMEDIATELY AS IT WAS A BIT OF AN EMERGENCY.
