Ed's Tree Service gave me a better estimate than another company, which is why I used them. They did the job well but they delayed doing work for a couple weeks. I had to keep calling them to remind them about the stump grinding.

Ed and crew came on time the day they were scheduled. He walked the yard with me and then did the work. Before he left, we walked the yard again to make sure I was happy with the work. I have worked with Ed's for about four years and they have always done a great job.

I got four quotes for my back yard tree removal. The oak was dead and leaning over, so I was concerned it might fall on my roof or the neighbor's roof during a storm or wind gusts. It required manual work to chop the tree in pieces by chainsaw as no other equipment could reach the back. Ed's Tree Service was professional throughout, and called to follow-up after coming out for the quote. I wanted to take no chances in having this tree removed as it had to be done correctly. Ed's price was about $500 more than the company I used. However, if I had wanted all of the wood hauled, they definitely would have been the best option. As it was, I wanted the wood to burn in my fireplace, so I selected another firm at a lower cost.

My neighbor recommended Ed's Tree Service years ago, but I didn't listen. After the job was completed, I wish I had listened to my neighbor! Don't think twice! Call Alice and she will set you up with a great team of Tree Engineers. I have had lots of tree work done in my yard over the years. Ed's Tree Service is the BEST of all! Thank You Alice!

TIME FRAME WAS EXTENDED BECAUSE OF WEATHER CONDITIONS AND MY SIGNIFICANT HEALTH ISSUES. PERMISSION TO GO ON NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS PROPERTY WAS OBTAINED IN ADVANCE, LIMBS FROM TREES AND PROPERTY AS CONTRACTED. EMPLOYEES EXTREMELY COMPETENT AND PROFESSIONAL.

Company came out, looked at tree, sent a written estimate. Made arrangements to come and perform service within a 2 week window. Called and made arrangements 2 days before appointment. They performed the service even though I was out of town and then called to make arrangements to collect payment. Excellent service and job. I'd use them again.

With all the trees in my back yard I knew one of them would eventually fall. I had a tenant in my house tell me that he thought the old locust tree would soon come down. So I had Ed's tree service give me an estimate for that . They came by on the day they told me and they left a estimate at the door. That was for $1750 plus 150 for tree stump removal. The following week a sotrm blew by the area and low and behold another tree was knocked down ... not the locust. I had one of my handy men come by and help me remove some of the tree branches since the tree fell on my neighbors yard. It proved to be a much bigger job. So I let the professionals at Ed's tree service give me an estimate. They had been inundated with calls of fallen trees from the storm. So they got to see my tree 2 days after I called them. I told them the price was reasonable ($1,100 for a fallen tree since we already removed the branches) . They would come by in 2 days after I agreed to the cost. They planned on doing the 2 trees. The crew arrived on time and Jim , the foreman, called me to say that he could not get in tight enough to get the stump on the locust tree. He said that if I wanted he would do other stumps to make up the price. The old owner of the house had left 3 good sized tree stumps 24" diameter in the yard. I said fine and had them add another 7 tree stumps to the list for $350. Meanwhile I had the foreman give me a cost of another 2 trees in the yard ... I didn't like the looks of a maple that was growing close to the house and on a hill. I decided to let them at the tree for $800. The tree was right next to an arbor and the house that could easily be destroyed by an errant limb. They never touched the arbor nor the house and they stumped the tree next t the fence without harming the fence. Jim and his crew of 4 were efficient and knew what they were doing. They hauled all debris away ( they even hauled other limbs that I had stacked in the corner of the house). They didn't have problems of me adding the trees that I added even though it was getting late in the day and they had another tree scheduled. I got a call in the morning to get me settled on the bill. The bill was emailed to me in a professional manner. I had a 10% discount to boot from Angie's list ! Trees are not cheap to cut down but I recommend leaving it to the professionals to do. My handy man took way too long to take care of the branches he did. But what can you do in an emergency. Next time I think I will just call Ed's ASAP.

I selected Ed's from Angie's listing without getting other quotes. They provided a firm quote, arrived promptly on schedule, and performed the work thoroughly and professionally. They took care not to damage my yard during the movement of large tree sections across it.

They were fantastic. I comparison shop too. They were on time, very courteous and 1/4 the price as the other companies I looked into. They cleaned up all the debris. We were very happy and gave them a tip.

The company was very easy to work with. They arrived on time for all appointments and did a good job at removing the trees, grinding the stumps, and cleaning up my yard when their work was done.

The service and price (including a discount for being a Angie list member) was quality one. The team took their time, and made sure all the clean up was completed. We were very satisfied with the work performed and will contact them again for additional tree and limb removal!

It went well. We had questions about whether the trees were a danger to the home we were going to buy, and he was able to give us a good idea. What I particularly liked about them was that Ed's wife, Cathy, was very helpful in letting me know what I might want to ask about in the estimate.

They were very thorough. We went over the entire job and he gave me an individualized cost of each project.

I went with Ed's Tree Service because their quote was half the price of another company that I had gotten a quote from. They were really easy to work with and friendly.

An original miscommunication in amount of work to be done for the given estimate was resolved to my satisfaction.

I am pleased with them and have used them several times. They are very prompt, come when they say they would and are very professional. They are also very courteous and I have nothing negative that I can say about them.

We got estimates from two other companies for the same job. We chose Ed?s Tree Service because their prices were the best. They did a lot of work for us. The quality of their work was great. We?ll absolutely use them again.

They submitted an estimate in a timely manner, came when they said they would; performed the jobs efficiently and professionally. We were completely satisfied.

We selected Ed's Tree Service because of their prompt response to our estimate inquire and their excellent price compared to other companies (not mention the good rating on Angieslist!). We had them originally scheduled a week earlier for servce but due to employees being sick, the high temperatures (90+) and rain. They stayed in touch with us through out the scheduling delays and kept us informed of when they would try again to perform the work. They showed up on time, did a great job (even went and spoke to my neighbors to let them know they would be working in our yard and asked that their cars be moved just as a precaution in case a rope would break! I appreciated their extra effort with this!), and cleaned up the yard of all debris befored they left. I would recommend them to friends and use them again if we need it!

Everything went well. After I contacted them they promptly came out to do an estimate. In addition to the work I had asked about, they recommended some additional work I might consider having done. The estimate was reasonable and we scheduled the work. The work was completed in a timely manner. Overall the work was good. My only hesitation was that I had expected them to cut more limbs from the tree, but they did not. However, they did cut the ones I had been most concerned about.

They are very knowledgeable. They advice us on how we can take care of some problems by ourselves. It is a reliable and homely service. The person who takes a call organizes a team to come and check the problem. Then they tell us how they can help and give us an estimate on how much it will cost. If we agree to that, they will do the job. They moved the shrub and the price was reasonable. I have a lot of faith in them.

Not the low bid but they were willing to take on those extra chores - dealing with brush, plantings, etc. in addition to the trees that needed to be cleared. They did go up on the roof and removed the old TV antenna! Very professional crew that worked quickly and cleaned up nicely after themselves. They did an excellent job and I'll use them again when necessary. A crew of four was done in four hours - much faster than I expected. The trees being removed were up to 60 feet high, overhung the neighbors yard and fence, and otherwise looked hard to remove - they did it all with no damage.
