Description of Work: Promptly provided an estimate, workers showed up on time, did the required work (thinning and trimming trees in backyard), and cleaned up. Everything went smoothly and our backyard looks much better.

Description of Work: Ed's Tree Service removed a total of eight trees, three of the 40+ feet with HUGE bases. They left the area cleared of limbs and leaves and were done the same day they started. As they are fully licensed and insured, they were not the least expensive alternative, but I am fully satisfied with their work and professionalism.

Description of Work: Ed's Tree Service took down two large evergreen trees and ground the stumps. They also pruned a large oak tree that had not had any attention for probably 20 years--lots of dead wood. They were punctual with the quote and with the work, totally professional job. I've used them twice now and have recommended them to friends.

Description of Work: I CALLED AND ASKED FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE TWO STUMPS REMOVED. THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY A WEEK. WHEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK THE JOB WAS DONE. THERE WAS A NOTE WITH MY MAIL STATING THEY HAD A CANCELLATION SO DID IT THAT DAY. THEY LEFT ME THE BILL AND TOLD ME TO PAY IT WHEN I COULD. EVERYTHING WAS DONE PERFECTLY AND NO MESS LEFT BEHIND. THEY ARE FANTASTIC.

Description of Work: estimator came out and looked at tree on friday 9/13. cleveland pear tree with gypsy moth webs to be cut out and tree needed to be thinned out and cut away from streetlight. he gave me quote and i gave him the full payment by check. i told him that the folks could come any time the following week because i didn't need to be there. i was home on friday 9/20 when they came. they were prompt, did a great job on the tree, cleaned up nicely. he looked at a tree in the backyard and gave me a further recommendation also. will definitely use them or recommend them again.

Description of Work: Ed's Tree service pruned a large tree in my yard. This included taking down a liter on the tree and clearing it of excessive leaves and branches. They were great!

Description of Work: Tree trimming--- branches hanging over house. Many delays before they finally started the work, after numerous promises to begin earlier. Amount charged was as they estimated, but it was much higher than warranted by the level of effort. Unfortunately, I had to have the work done & didn't have time to get another estimate. Work quality was good.

Description of Work: We had three separate jobs to be done at my home and office. We called 5 different companies who were A rated on Angies List. Tony Martone came to my house to give a quote. Good guy, very knowledgable and provided a price that was a little high but he said maybe he could sharpen his pencil. We nbeeded work done at our office too. The owner, Alice Fernades came out to look at the job. We had some fallen leyland cypress trees, damaged limbs in a large oak and 30 arbor vitae that had been affected by the heavy snow. Some were leaning and we werent sure iuf they could be saved. Every other contractor said they could be saved and provided us a price to stake them or suggested how we could do it ourselves. Alice said they needed to be removed at a price of $1800.

Description of Work: We had 6 invasive trees in the back yard of our town home which we needed removed. I contacted Ed's for an estimate, and they came out within the next business day to provide one. The representative was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Ultimately, we went with a company that gave us a lower estimate, but our experience with Ed's was a positive one.

Description of Work: EXTENSIVELY PRUNED A 53 YEAR OLD SILVER MAPLE IN BACK YARD AND PRUNED LIMBS FROM A DIFFERENT TREE OVERHANGING ROOF OF HOME.
