Description of Work: The only one I can think of for heating and AC is Climate Control Service Corporation. They replaced my air conditioning. They replaced a condensing unit.

Description of Work: Our gas-fired boiler was no longer pushing hot water through our radiators. | |I called our go-to company for heating problems and they dispatched a service rep. the next day. He arrived on time, calling when he was on his way to alert us. | |It was a bitterly cold winter period and our house temperature had dropped to 45 degrees. His punctuality was greatly appreciated. He diagnosed the problem with the circulation pump, left to fetch a new one from a local supplier and installed it shortly thereafter. | |After testing he realized there was a tell-tale vibration in the system which he temporarily solved with some foam shims. He thought that the impeller was also starting to fail, but since he would have had to drain the system and it was below freezing, he mentioned that we could delay the impeller replacement until the weather turned warmer. He actually left the additional part behind for when he returned to finish the job. | |We look forward to their service whenever they are called. | |The experience with them has always been rated "excellent" in our book.

+ -1 moreThe man that came out was very professional, polite and careful with everything. As far as I can tell he did a good job checking everything in every part of the house. He answered my questions in an intelligent and logical way about the condition of the units, other alternative options and things like that. I will continue to use them in the future.
Description of Work: They came out and checked my air conditioning unit for me a about a week ago. They had to put a lot of freon in, go up on the roof and cut some tree branches back as well - so it was a little extensive.

He had a lot of good ideas when it came to tight areas. He gave me a written proposal that was reasonable in price. The crew that did the work was professional and nice to me. They cleaned up after the work was done.

Dave and his boys (family business) sold me a new HVAC system that improved my efficiency by approx 30%, removed all of the old ducts from the basement and first floor, and custom-made new duct work to fit my needs and improve the overall house flow and efficiency. They installed the venting system for a new tankless hot water heater and rerouted my gas lines to tuck them up into the joists for improved headroom in the basement. They paid attention to detail, ensuring holes in walls left by old pipes that were removed were filled, and that new vent holes were properly sealed. Each day they left the work area neat and were always respectful of my schedule. It's hard to find this kind of service today - I highly recommend Dave and his crew for any HVAC needs!
Description of Work: Old furnace dismantled and removed, including vent and exterior air compressor unit. Old ducts removed from basement and first floor. New furnace (purchased price included in contract), vent, and custom ducts installed. New external air compressor installed in new location, lines buried and unit secured. Gas lines rerouted. Exterior wall holes patched or sealed. Tankless hot water heater vent installed.

+ -1 moreThey noted that the freon for the a/c was a little low. Since I had the same problem at the end of the season last year, I was gearing myself up for a replacement for the entire a/c system. However, they assured me that such was not the case - and a shot of freon would get us thru the summer. It's refreshing to have a company that's truthful and not try to sell you something you don't really need. I have been dealing with Climate Control for many years and have always been impressed with their honesty and professionalism.
Description of Work: Have an annual maintenance contract with them (twice a year checkups). They performed the annual spring checkup for the a/c this time.
