ASSI installed my kitchen countertops as a contractor for my local Home Depot. After having contact with another countertop contractor that was totally uncooperative as to my needs, I was able to change to ASSI. From the very beginning, they were courteous and helpful in all aspects of planning the fabrication of the tops. The men who did the installation couldn’t have been better more helpful in making sure all of my requirements were met. I can give my interactions nothing but praise.

Although I was pleased with the final result once installed, there were too many hiccups along the way, including installers showing up at my door when I had not told them what sink I wanted or scheduled the installation! Most of the problems were because the people within the company don't communicate well with each other. Also, the sales person misled me by saying if I disconnected the plumbing, the price included his company taking my old laminate counter top off of my cabinets, and placing it outside. Once my installation was scheduled, he said I'd be charged a fee for taking the old one off and putting it outside. When I reminded him of our prior conversation, he said "it's not in the contract." I found him very nice but lacking in integrity. I will not deal with this company again, or recommend them to others.
