We were scheduled for an estimate within two days, and they came the following week to do the work. They came and went while I was at work. I was very pleased with how well they cleaned up. Other than the stump, there's no evidence there was ever a tree there. The folks I spoke with on the phone were very helpful and pleasant, and my calls were returned promptly.

I am so glad I called Adirondack!! They saved me thousands of dollars. This was quite a large jobs and I got five quotes, all from firms on Angie's List. We needed multiple trees removed from our large, wooded, overgrown back yard. The first company that came out gave me an estimate of about $5,000 for removing just our large, multi-lead tree and nothing else - I couldn't have afforded any of the other work! Other firms' prices were lower, but Adirondack was by far the lowest. They came in at well under half what several other firms would have charged for all this work. I think that's partly because they were able to do the job without a crane, whereas several other companies said they'd need to use a crane, which raises costs. Adirondack was also extremely professional and provided copies of their insurance. I saw on their website that the governor of Maryland has used them! They are an awesome company - incredibly professional - and great prices!

I called a number of other tree companies (including a company I have already used twice previously) who said it would be 4 to 8 weeks before they could cut down the tree. Adirondack was able to do it in 2 to 3 weeks. I think they did a very good job. Just as good as the other tree company I had used previously. They arrived on time, did not do any damage to anything, and cleaned up pretty well. The estimator was very nice and honest. We had another tree we were considering pruning and he told us that the tree was already dying and he didn't want to see us spend money pruning a tree that was already dying.

They arrived an hour and a half early but they worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.

The area looks so great, it looks as if trees were never there. I really appreciate the work they did, and I also like their staff. I would recommend their service.

I have always received excellent service from this company. They specialize in removing and pruning trees, and they really are experts. I have watched as their climbers went up a tree that was hundreds of feet tall to take the tree down, from the top down - amazing. They are also clearly expert at pruning trees the right way. They have always been responsive when I called, and I had no trouble scheduling service. The final cost matches their estimate and is even sometimes lower if the job changed at all. There are occasional problems with billing, but these are always straightened out. I trust this company to do the job right, and at a reasonable price. They aren't the right company for planting trees, doing landscape work, or for treating trees that are sick, but they are great at tree removal and pruning.

Estimate was provided in timely manner, price was good, work was performed two days after estimate in a very satisfactory manner. They were very honest about additional work I asked about (could have just done it instead of waiting until a more appropriate time).

Terrific. Their bid was much lower than another company I phoned (whose arborist estimated $2,400!). They came out a couple of days later and had the tree down and the site cleaned within 90 minutes. As I asked, they did not remove the stump but simply cut it as close as possible to ground level.
