I wasn't there when they did the work, but my husband was very pleased with the quality and their responsiveness. It looked very good when I came home to see the work they did. We would use them again.

They were punctual and did a good job. They cleaned up afterwards. I would hire them again.

Originally, I called Adirondack to give me an estimate for removal of a huge 100' Pine at the rear of the house and an overgrown Arbor Vitae at the front of our new home. They promptly came out to the house and responded with an estimate of roughly $1000 in the next couple of days. This included the use of a crane as the tree is in the rear of the house, near the neighbors, etc. Their price was half of what a couple of other estimates came in at. We rethought our request and decided to add the removal of three more medium sized trees in the back yard and removal of several large limbs on a huge Oak hanging down on top of the sunroom. Not a problem, they came out again, revised the estimate and we proceeded. They arrived on time. All were very personable and professional. Everything was done as requested, including thinning out all the dead branches all to the way to the top of the Oak, and cleanup at the end was complete. Unfortunately, there was a small area of glass left exposed(most everything else was covered)on my sunroom that something hit and it broke the glass. The owner slightly discounted the job for my inconvenience, apologized and sent out a carpenter later in the day to measure for the new window. The window is now fixed. It was a pleasure dealing with this company. I would definitely use them again.

They moved the tree back from the house so that the branches wouldn't hang over the house. They did a lovely job. They didn't butcher the tree. They made it look nice and did the job quickly. They were very polite and nice. The estimate they gave me held true which was nice.

Everything went fine. They did what they said they would and did a good job.

They said they would meet me at 7:30. I was 10 minutes late and when I got there no one was there. We missed each other by 10 minutes. I got a hold of the owner. There was a communications mess. They did do a good job on the trimming when they came the next day. They also took down some limbs from a neighbors tree that was in our yard due to storm damage.

They removed a fallen tree and 3 standing trees, 2 small and 1 medium. The medium tree involved crane work. The estimate was prompt and I got as much if not more than what I paid for. They did a very clean job.

I called three companies listed by Angie's List for an estimate. Adirondack responded quickly and efficiently and offered the best price (approximately US$200 less than the next competitor). On the day of the service, they called me to inform that they would be two hours late, due to a delay in the previous job. They came and performed the service very well.

They arrived equipped with three large trucks to do the work on site. They did an excellent job and we will use them again. They are responsive and knowledgeable. They have a lot of information to offer.

The tree crew ( a total of 3), led by Vinny, arrived at 7:50 A.M. ready to work. They set up their truck with chipper/shredder trailer and began their work. Vinny, the crew chief was very personable and answered my questions throughout the process. Vinny also went next door to let my neighbor know their would be some temporary debris on their property, but it would be removed without damage (the neighbor was not home or chose not to answer the doorbell). In closing, Adirondack was very professional and personable, to include the estimation process. Mr. Dan Miller, the estimator, was onside at the appointed time and gave valuable advice as to tree limbs that should not be cut. At the end of his written estimate and prior to my requesting insurance and licensing information, Mr. Miller handed me an envelope with this information.

After the crew left, I surveyed the work and decided that I wanted the bushes trimmed more tightly. I think they were trying to make the bushes look as attractive as possible, but I wanted them as tight as possible so I could go a year before having to have them trimmed again (it is very expensive, over $1,000). Also, I wanted them to touch up a few areas I wasn't totally happy with. The staff was extremely concerned that I was happy and really went out of their way to provide excellent customer service. The foreman was very apologetic that I wasn't happy with his first try, and later that day I received a nice phone call from the company owner. And my holly bushes look great!! So I would highly recommend this company as very professional and very nice! They will keep working until you are happy! I am looking forward to using Adirondack to trim the holly bushes again next year. Thanks, all the staff at Adirondack, you guys are great!
