Adirondack Tree Experts

I had a great experience with Adirondack Tree Experts. They came out and ended up doing the work for free. He said that the job was so small that it would be no big deal. He even told me what to do next year when it needed to be pruned. I give them A's all across the board. I would call them back again in the future.

Everything turned out excellent. The work was good and they were clean. They removed everything and got the stumps out. They were timely and on price. I recommend them highly. I would use them again if I have another need.

He was good and he gave us an estimate. He said that he wouldn't trim the tree until the leaves were off, so we waited until the tree was dormant. The price was reasonable. We would use him again.

The estimator showed up right as scheduled. He checked the trees I needed removed and instantly gave me a bid. They called me that afternoon and scheduled me for the following week. The crew showed up and couldn't have been better. They were polite, neat, well-qualified and did an outstanding job. There was no sign that they had been to my house (other than the stumps left behind!)

They did a very nice job and the work went well. They cleaned up after themselves. I would use them in the future.

We came to know of them through Angie?s List. He had come to look at our tree and give us an estimate. The Angie?s List recommendations have always turned out to be really good. He had told us what needed to be done and how the tree needed to be trimmed. He had assured us that the tree didn?t have any kind of disease. He had also given us advice on some of the other trees and shrubs in our yard. He was very informative and was just great. He had asked us what needed to be done and asked us if we had any questions about any other plants in our yard. We had shown him some of the other shrubs and he had told us how to cut and trim them. He was very helpful and had no problem in answering any of our questions. He knew what he was doing, and it was a good experience for us.

The tree was in between two houses. It was amazing how they managed to keep from hitting anything. Through the whole 3 hour process only one limb hit a wire, and they took care of it without issue. They worked together extremely well. The price was very reasonable, as well.

The experience was extremely positiive. They were attentive, responsive and did good work. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Excellent from start to finish! John Anna came to give us an estimate for the removal detailing the best way to remove the tree with the least damage to our hill and other plants. Price above was after discounts he honored. Removal was scheduled for the following Friday at our request. Vinny and his crew arrived ontime for the removal. After set-up, one crew member climed to near the top of the tree and began cutting off large branches and lowering them to the ground with ropes and other crew members carried them down the hill to the shredder. Then sections of the tree were cut and lowered. These sections were taken down the hill on ball carts to a large truck where another truck with a lift picked up the sections so they could be hauled away. They cut several of the large sections into smaller pieces so we could split them at a later time and cut the stump off at ground level. Then they blew the sawdust in the grass from cutting the sections back into the planting bed, and blew off the driveway. They accomplished all this in about 3 hours with no damage to other plants (We had to move one shrub ourselves before they did the removal), and almost no evidence of work being done - except for the missing tree! - other than some tracks in the grass and a few small dents where the tree was removed. This crew was very professional did a perfect job. Employees of Adironack have many impressive credentials - and reasonable charges for their excellent work.

They arrived on time. They were very professional even when parking enforcement asked them to move their trucks from our very busy street. They removed the tree quickly. Great job overall!

Best experience possible. Scheduling an estimate was easy, the office was responsive and polite and I didn't need to be home for the estimate. Company offered lowest price and provided materials on the importance of hiring a company that is both licensed and insured against damages to your home/property, your neighbors home/property, automobile damage, and workman's comp. Company holds a significant industry recognition from TCIA. I called to schedule and they fit me in the next day. The took my credit card number, agreed not to charge until the work had been completed. Again I didn't need to be home for the work. They did a great job, I will use them for every tree job I have. Convenient, Quality, Value you can't beat it.

Three uniformed, properly insured and licensed workers arrived on time, did the work in about two hours, including a portion of the neighbor's tree requested by him--no extra charge. This was work done beyond the requested pruning. Both my neighbor and I were impressed by the efficiency of the men doing the work.

Great crew, terrifc team, good proposal - so fast! I would definitely recommend them and will use their service again.

These guys are great. They came out promptly and were very pleasant to talk with about the options we had. Because of our experience with them we have used them several times to perform work. We got some unbelievably expensive estimates, but Adirondack was reasonable and very flexible on schedule. They were late both times they did work but they more than made up for being late by being great.

The people at Adirondack were appeared extremely knowledgeable and their bid was more reasonable than the rest. They removed the oak, and did the work on the maple tree. They were polite, helpful, and very professional. They were wonderful! Our neighbors were also impressed with them and said if they needed work done, they would call Adirondack.

Overall, this was a great experience. The guys showed up on time and were able to take care of the enitre job in one day. The poplars were easily 100+ feet tall, so this went a lot faster than I expected. They used a crane and climbers to tackle the job, with the ground crew taking care of debris as progress was made. No damage or injuries to note :-) and everyone was very friendly and courteous. A great experience as a very low price compared to other similar vendors.

I called for an estimate, the estimator came by and left the estimate in my door. I had called for 2 more estimates but only got one ($780). I called Adironcak back and scheduled the work for a week later. They called the day before to remind me about the appointment and they arrived on time, took the tree down in about an hour and, did a good job of cleaning up. I would definitely use them again!

Employees were punctual, pleasant, and did a great job. They cleaned up after the job and even removed some additional yard waste that we had from some previous trimming that my husband had done many months ago.

I contacted Adirondack and set up an appointment at a convenient time. Mr. John Anna, the President and owner of the company, came to my home at the scheduled time. I told him that I wanted the trees taken down and, if possible, all the wood removed and debris cleaned up. My house sits in a wooded area about 150 ft. off a culdesac. The large trees were about 25 ft. behind my house, among several other large trees. In order to remove the trees and remove the wood, Mr. Anna discussed with me how Adirondack could employ their large crane and carry the cut up sections of the trees over my house to the crane truck bed and/or to their chipper/sherdder. To manually haul the heavy tree sections around the house was not practicable. We also discussed the possibility of just taking down the trees and leaving the wood in the woods behind my house. Mr. Anna provided me with a packet of information on the company, insurance information, etc., and a written proposal in the amount of $3,025.00 to do the job, removing all the wood and cleaning up the debris. I told him I would get back to him in a couple of days. After speaking with two other tree removal services, I called Adirondack and indicated that I would accept their proposal. We set up a convenient date for the work, I signed the proposal and forwarded a 20% deposit at Adirondack's request. I got a call from Adirondack the day before the work was to be done to confirm the appointment and they told me that they would arrive at 7:30 the next day. Adirondack called early the next morning and said, because of the early morning rain, they would arrive about 9:30. They arrived as promised. They had to work in very confined spaces on a somewhat narrow driveway in front of my house in among trees, avoiding damage to some extensive landscaping and the surrounding trees. They arrived as promised, worked all day and finished the job around 3:30 in the afternoon. Because of a minor limitation on the crane having to do with cable lengths and the largest tree's distance from the crane, they were unable to remove a small section of the bottom part of the largest tree trunk. As I agreed, they cut this section into a few small sections and rolled them down the hill in the back of the house, out of sight. Mr. Anna reduced the price of the job by $300.00 for this minor glitch. Mr. Anna was on site at the beginning of the job and returned mid afternoon to surpervise the job completion and the clean up. Overall, they did a fantastic job under some very tough conditions. None of my landscaping was damaged, all debris was cleaned up, and everything was satisfactorily completed.

They had an arborist to come and give advice about the trees. They were very professional and they cleaned the place after the job was done. The previous tree service was very bad. They did a very good job.

I emailed Adirondack for an estimate and a customer service representative left me a message within a hour indicating that they would stop by the next morning to provide an estimate. So, less than 24 hours after my initial contact, I had a written estimate waiting at my front door. They removed a dead Japanese Maple and were unable to remove the stump since the machinery would not fit in our small garden without damaging existing plants. They provided us with information about how to remove the stumps ourselves. At the last moment, we decided to have another potentially dying tree removed and the company did so without charge. They were very professional, efficient, and left no debris.

They were on time, and did a great job.

The crew arrived as scheduled, were courteous and professional, consulted about how the trees should be shaped, worked efficiently, and left no mess behind.

It was really a remarkable operation. We watched in awe as the tree climber quickly climbed the tree and began using ropes to secure huge branches so that workers below could control their fall, then weilded a chainsaw with great efficiency and skill. Within about 45 minutes, the major branches were off, and the huge tall trunk remained. Then he began the even more daunting work of bringing down pieces of the trunk safely. After that they cut up the wood and took it away and ground up the stump.

Tree ninjas!! That's what these guys are!! Friendly, polite, professional, customer-service driven TREE NINJAS! Every step of the process from calling their office, to scheduling an estimate (free, 24 hours after I called, and quick), to their punctual arrival, to the work they did and their clean up was absolutely first rate. Their climbers were incredibly skilled, took out loads of dead wood, some of which was hanging over my neighbor's new shed, very quickly and without the slightest risk to any of the buildings. Their clean up job left our backyard looking better than it did before they arrived, and they were even kind enough to shove some vines I had pulled down over the weekend into their chipper and haul them away. I couldn't be happier!
