Adirondack is a great company! My experience started with an efficient process for scheduling and visiting my home for an estimate. I had two trees that needed pruning and also asked for general recommendations on maintenance due to the number of large trees on our property. They were very gracious and professional in coming out for a second visit when I asked that they point out the tree they were recommending be removed due to woodpecker damage. The crew arrived 15 minutes early on the scheduled day and completed the work in just a few hours. They were well organized, efficient, and all worked well together. The professionalism and skill was first rate. I truly enjoy doing business with these types of companies.

I was given a window of time between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m., and the crew showed up a little after one p.m. They were courteous, professional and ready to work. It was like watching a well rehearsed acrobatics show. The dead limbs were taken out, the trees were trimmed and even though it wasn't discussed on the original contract but via phone they cut the cherry and maple into logs for my husband's use in his smoker. My compliments on great teamwork and a job well done. This is what true customer service is!

Recent snow storms had severely damaged or broken limbs on a number of our trees. The trees were primarily medium-sized dogwoods and crape myrtles, but also included a very large dawn redwood. A damaged limb on that tree hung over the neighbors property. Adirondack's estimate was very comparable to others received. But Dan Miller seemed to have a better sense of what was needed with regard to proper tree care. The appointment was scheduled, and someone from the office called the day prior to confirm. The crew actually arrived about 20 minutes early, which was not a problem for us. Barry reviewed the work that was to be done, and the crew started right in. They were extremely careful when working on the limb overhanging the neighbors property. After they had completed the majority of the work and were nearly finished with their cleanup, I asked that an additional trunk be removed from the largest crape myrtle. Barry graciously handled that request. The team was professional and efficient. Cleanup after the job was very thorough. I will definitely call on Adirondack should the need arise for tree service in the future.

They provided a written estimate, arrived on time and did a very good job.

It went very well. Adiorondack provided an estimate very quickly. They were able to scheduled the tree removal not long after we accepted the estimate. The price of the service was as estimated.

They did a very good job. When I suggested that certain branches be trimmed more, they pointed out that trimming too much would kill the branch. I modified my request accordingly and was quite happy with the final result.

When they came they handed us their credentials without being asked. They gave us a written estimate and stuck with it. They charged the standard price - no supplement for the storm. They didn't hesitate about getting it off the roof and they clearly knew what they were doing. We got three different estimates and they came in substantially cheaper than anybody else. They showed up right when they said they would. We were really impressed.

I got the estimate in October and was told it was best to wait until the sap stopped running in mid November to do the major pruning. On the scheduled date a crew showed up to do the work. They had all their credentials and correct equipment and clearly knew what they were doing. They did MAJOR pruning of the elm tree and it now looks absolutely beautiful as well as being trimmed away from my and my neighbor's house. The hollies at the front corners of my house are now trimmed nicely away from the house. In addition they pruned some bushes that were hard for me to reach at their tops and a few stray tree branches. They were very accommodating and pleasant. I was very impressed with their knowledge in how to do a major trimming while preserving the shape and beauty of the tree.

This business was prompt in going to look at the job and submitting an estimate. The estimate was concise and clear, price reasonable. They followed up with a call and came the day that was arranged and did a beautiful job. The tree is rejuvenated as is the look of the front of the house. They cleaned up every twig and left the yard in tip top condition. I would definitely call them first on any tree job that I have in the future.

They provided an estimate the day we called. The estimator remembered us from a another estimate he gave a year earlier. He gave us a good estimate for the work we asked for and gave us a discount for being a returning customer. We had trouble scheduling them because we called immediately after a bad snow storm and many trees had gone down. They mentioned they had to prioritize houses were trees were through the roof. Ours was precariously positioned but had not penetrated the roof. They arrived on time, did the work we agreed on, were careful not to damage other trees and cleaned up. When I noticed additional deadwood on the trees they were in, but which wasn't included in the estimate, they had no problem cutting down those extra branches for no additional cost. We were very impressed.

We were happy with the price for the work performed. We agreed on the lowest possible cutting for the trees. This is the 2nd time we have used Adirondack. We are really happy with them. They come on time and I like the communication with them. They do a really good job and do not leave a mess. We recommended them to our neighbors and they used Adirondack as well.

The work was very good. We were extremely happy with them. They arrived on time and removed the tree without damaging anything in the area. They cleaned up everything. They were extremely polite and professional.

They did a nice job. Their team of workers showed up on time, trimmed the trees, and cleaned up after themselves. I had asked them to trim as much as possible without damaging the structural integrity of the trees, and for the most part they did just that. There were a few branches that look as though they could have been cut down more (e.g., a branch that is still awfully close to our chimney). Aside from that, we were happy with their work.

I have used Adirondack Tree Experts twice before - 1st time to take a huge poplar tree out of the back yard with no damages to the property and 2nd time trimming of overgrown tree branches. Since my past experiences with them were excellent, I have no problems with calling them back to do additional work. This time I used one of their coupons from a local service magazine to get a discount from the original quote price of approximate $700 but even without the coupon I would pay the price for the quality, safe removal and cleanup. They were prompt, pleasant, and professional and did all the work within 2 hours. Their removal and clean up was spotless as usual. They are a great company to deal with.

They arrived on time. They set up a large crane which they used to haul pieces of the trees over the house. They were very professional, very coordinated in their tasks, they cleared up after the job was finished. I will use them again any time I need a tree service

After getting 3 estimates from Angie's list, I chose Adirondacks because it had the best estimator and an arborist. He gave good advice which I used. The only problem is that the supervisor on site gave me an incorrect total to pay, which did not include the 10% down payment that I had sent to office to confirm the transaction. I called the firm's attention to this and got the proper refund. That is why they received a "B" in overall.

Called company & had estimate done and in a few days got an appointment to have tree removed. The Crew showed up and started to work right away. I was a little worry because the tree was leaning towards my neighbor house the foreman told me no worries. They cut the tree down with no problem. My neighbor came out to move their chairs off the patio, the worker saw that they were elderly & told them they would do it. How nice. They finish the work and cleaned up all the debris. I was pleased and will use this company again.

Overall it went very well. The office was responsive and the workers were polite and knew what they were doing. They worked hard and straight through until they finished the job.

When I arranged for an estimate, ADIRONDACK arrived exactly on time (this was important as I had several other contractors coming the same day). The representative clearly described what they would do and indicated when they would return to do it. Although rain delayed the visit, they returned the following week and completed the task. As all work was outside, I didn't need to be there (a great convenience). They removed all trash and charged my credit card, applying the Angie's List discount. I was pleased with the work and would use these folks again.

They do an excellent job! They performed the work quickly and safely, they cleaned up very well, and they were polite and courteous. Also, these guys seem to enjoy their job! They seem like a tight team and they work together effortlessly. They had a minor equipment issue and a guy came by after finishing at a nearby job to help sort it out (it was just a drained battery). Hopefully I'll be installing and not removing plants from now on, but I'd use them again for any tree trimming or removal without hesitation.

The Adirondack rep, Dan, responded to my call to stop by and take a look at the huge oaks in our front/back yards to determine what trimming/pruning might be needed, and if the trees were basically healthy and strong. I'd used Adirondack previously for take-down of a large sickly pine, and that experience (plus a quick check of Angie's List) prompted me to call only Adirondack. Dan scheduled an appointment for the company's crew to trim 3 of the trees he felt were in need of that service. The Adirondack people showed up on time (5 of them), with all the equipment needed to do a professional job including a bucket lift and chipper. Two hours later the work was finished, and excellent cleanup done.

We scheduled an appointment for them to come out and give an estimate. They were on time. The next day, scheduled the service for the next week. The work performed was exactly what we asked them to do. The bill was the exact amount of the estimate. They hauled away the cut branches and everything was clean by the time we returned home to inspect.

great job, the tree looks fantastic, they came on time, did a good job trimming the tree, they cleaned up, we had some branches sitting in the back from a month ago, they cleaned those too. left the place extremely neat and followed all our instructions to perfection! Highly recommended!
