Trees done quickly, brush and wood hauled away. Brush that fell in neighbors pool was cleaned up too. Employees were friendly and professional. Price was lower than another estimate we received.

Came when they were supposed to and got done before I got home which was a few hours. Ideal service in every aspect of the job! These folks are super-efficient so if you like fast service, that's what you'll get!

I contacted Adirondack along with 3 other tree service companies in the area to bid on removal of a large -60 foot tall- oak tree and 4 smaller trees. The prices I received were very close but Adirondack set themselves apart with outstanding customer service, professional knowledge, and attention to detail. The oak tree had a large amount of deadwood that was overhanging my neighbor?s garage and Adirondack took special care not to cause any damage and clean up any debris that fell into his yard. Speaking of cleanup?. I go to work in the morning and there are 5 trees in my yard. I come home in the evening and the trees are gone with ZERO evidence that anyone was there. Not a stick. Not a foot print. Not a tire track. My yard was absolutely immaculate. Couldn?t have asked for anything better.

There were some issues with the estimate appointment. When they did not show, we called and they had us for another day. We told them that we took a day off from work for the appointment and they sent someone immediately. After getting the estimate, we received a call that they would remove the tree that Saturday if that worked for us. We were delighted that they could do it that quickly after the estimate appointment. They came early Saturday morning took the tree and branches away. They were fast and organized, the service was great and they did not leave a mess in the yard. We would use their services again.

Very happy with the work. First of all, I was happy that we could get all the work done in one visit. Also, the team came right on time. They even cleaned up all the little debris on the grass left by the storm (leaves, small twigs and branches). Last, they moved, and then replaced, our bird feeders before cutting down the big tree. That was something I did not get a chance to talk to them about but was very pleased with their focus on putting the yard back the way they focus it (minus the storm mess :-)) I don't know how their prices compare to other tree service companies. We picked them because of the reviews on Angie's List. All I know is we are simply not in a position to do that kind of work ourselves. Adirondack did a great job; we highly recommend!

They were very professional. I spent $1295. They were very knowledgeable, they were the polished type, they knew exactly what questions we would ask of them and they had all the right answers and were able to present certain qualifications. They were bonded and they were insured. They were clearly organized and they anticipated my questions.

I was very happy with the service. They were on time and proffessional. They left the property clean and removed some additional branches from another tree that was dead and hanging. I was surprised at how quickly they completed the operation. I would use them again.

These guys were great. I had used them five years before for pruning an ornamental cherry and the oak. In this case, my neighbor had two front yard trees trimmed at the same time (her cost was $175). The estimator arrived within the specified window. Wonderfully, he discouraged us from overpruning -- removing branches is like a wound, too much and you damage the tree. (How many providers would say that?) My original estimate was $225 for six branches, though I had a 15 percent off coupon (received in the mail three weeks before) for 'repeat' customers. The crew arrived within the service window. Because my neighbor was concerned about another branch pushing over her pine tree, the foreman cut several additional branches for no additional charge. All the branches were removed from the properties and the trees look terrific. I would highly recommed Adirondack to anyone that requires tree service. Its high standards have continued for many years.

From start to finish Adirondack took less than five hours to do what another company proposed to take a day and a half to complete. The company brought a small phalanx of workers to take care of everything, and they worked efficiently and diligently. I plan to recommend Adirondack to everyone I know. The workers cleaned the area up well, and since they were finished ahead of schedule Cory (the VP and foreman) offered to remove another tree (a Crepe Myrtle) for free. I have five Bradford pears I'm considering cutting down, and if I do I will call Adirondack to do the job.

They did an excellent job at arriving promptly for both the estimate and to perform the service. They were efficient, did exactly what they were contracted to do, and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I have already recommended them several times, and would definitely use them again.

Over the past couple years, three large white pines on one side of my house began to lean more and more, until it was clear they were no longer stable. Taller than my house, my house sat right in the inevitable "fall zone" for the trees. Although the trees were beautiful pines, it was time to take action. I contacted three separate companies to obtain quotes. The scope of work included removing the three pines, grinding the stumps, and then removing branches (some high up) on several other trees throughout my property. All three companies were able to come out quickly to give quotes, but Adirondack provided the lowest quote, seemed to be the most knowledgeable, and offered the most comprehensive work. For example, a different company insisted on wanting to remove a "dead" Dogwood tree -- I'm now looking out the window at this supposedly dead Dogwood tree, which is full of healthy leaves. Adirondack's estimator also placed pins in specific trees to clearly identify what was being referenced in his quote -- something other companies did not do. Adirondack's quote was approximately $1,400 (including a 10% Angie's List discount, which they happily honored), while other providers came in at $1750 and $2275. Given the size of the trees (one provider said they would need a crane), I was expecting to pay over $2,000. Regardless of price, I felt most comfortable with Adirondack, so the low price was the icing on the cake and made the decision easy. I wasn't able to be home when the estimator visited, but he left a detailed quote and I followed up with several questions, which he promptly and knowledgeably answered. Adirondack was able to perform the work right away, although to fit in my schedule, the work occurred about two weeks after I paid a deposit. On the day of the work, Adirondack showed up right on time, with a large crew led by Troy, the Foreman. They set right to work. In fact, I was impressed by the speed and efficiency of the crew. Immediately, one of the crew members went climbing up the pine trees with chainsaw in hand, cutting off limbs and then cutting off pieces from the top down. I would never have the guts to do something like that, but he did it with precision and without fear. As branches fell down, other crew members grabbed them and fed them through a wood chipper. Despite the inconvenient location of the trees (right by the house, and a bit hard to get to), no damage was done and the property was left in pristine shape. In addition to removing the three leaning pines, the crew removed branches on other trees that were brushing against the roof or too close to a fireplace vent. The entire experience was great and performed at a fair price. I strongly recommend Adirondack Tree Experts and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. They do this kind of work every day and have an experienced crew and economy of scale, so I think they would be hard to beat.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the crew arrived late. The expected arrival time was between 12 and 2, but they didn't arrive until after 3, and I didn't receive any notification that they were running late. However, they worked quickly and professionally once here. The estimator had made a disclaimer that he couldn't guarantee that the very dead tree wouldn't have branches fall on the neighbor's fence or shed, since it was too dangerous for anyone to climb. Luckily, or due to the skill of the crew, the tree was felled without incident. They cleaned the yard of all debris and swept the street of sawdust caused by the chipper. We were very pleased with the result.

Not the first time I've used these folks. Owner comes out to price the job, and his lady that answers the phone is always so nice and helpful. This last job was an over 60 foot pine that was beginning to break at the base of the trunk. They brought in a Crain and some large trucks. They made quick work of this poor monster tree that had to be removed. Very fast and clean, no branches or mess left. Very professional.

This was the most horrifying experience Ive ever experienced. I had an estimate for the removal of 3 stumps, 1 tree and pruning of 1 tree. They crew arrived 2 hours early which normally would have been great but not when I was at pour daughters middle school graduation ceremony and my phone rings stating they were at our door. We had it planned perfectly that they would arrive when we got home. They started working and I loved the crew.They were friendly and hardworking. Its so unfortunate that the owner of this company ruined the entire experience. At the end of the job we had a discrepancy as the estimator told me he could trim 2 trees yet the crew only was authorized to trim 1. When they called the owner to work it out, he asked to speak to me and began yelling at me to the top of his lungs that I wanted more than I paid for and that I was really p****** him off. I just simply let him know that his estimator told me differently. I never raised my voice at him. He hung up on me after yelling and screaming. I called back after calling down and spoke to the secretary. She told me that all the staff had to close their doors because he yelled so loudly. She was shaken herself and just quickly told me she would send me her receipt. I immediately emailed a lower manager asking for an apology that I never received. I immediately contacted the Attorney General's Consumer department but they are not much help for owners who just simply mistreat customers. After almost 2 years I still can't believe this occurred. They never emailed me an apology for his behavior even though I nicely requested it. I always regretted not informing Angies List since I found them on this site. So in sum, great crew and a nightmare of an owner!!

Did a good job. The three trees that were trimmed were above 40 ft (2) and 60 ft (1). Left no mess. Handled parking. Were patient with rescheduling. Also appreciated that they required neighbor's signature on contract to ensure authorized access to their yard for trimming purposes.

The crew was polite, efficient and cleaned up the area completely when they were done. The whole job took about 2 hours and we were completely satisfied. There is no doubt those trees would have come down in the next snowfall.

The price was much more reasonable than I had expected and the crew was so efficient, I almost missed them! I would use them any time I needed any tree work, without question.

It was a good job well done. He left a lot of chips and he charged $50 more because the stump was bigger than he thought. I agreed.

It went very well. They had the right equipment and worked very quickly. The backyard is much improved.

We like them. Their pricing is reasonable. I think they are very professional and know what they are doing. They talk to you and take time with you. I would hire them again for services.
