Adirondack had the best price and they did a great job pruning the trees and cutting a few down. They cleaned up great and did minimal damages to the landscape. They were $500 and $1000 cheaper than my other two quotes. I would use them again.

Adirondack were extremely professional and took down a very large tree in short order, examined two other trees and told us they did not recommend bringing them down, and then took down a small tree for less than 20 dollars extra. We will absolutely use them again.

We were all set to go with another Angie's List top-rated company when I decided to get a second estimate from Adirondack, which is also a top-rated company. I'm glad we did; Adirondack was less than half the price of the other company. They came promptly and when scheduled, and did a great job. When I noticed that there were a few small stray limbs from the birch overhanging the adjacent alley, I called Adirondack and, once again, they returned promptly to cut them (without additional charge). They were very professional.

Adirondack didn't do a good job. They didn't do a great job. They did a truly outstanding job in every aspect!!! The owner, John, came to my home to assess the situation and give me a bid. I was really impressed when he showed me why the tree had died, and this told me that I was working with a true professional. We had to reschedule twice because of bad weather, and they were so wonderful in working with me to find another date, both times within a couple of days. They arrived on time (actually a little early). Troy was the foreman on the job, and he was so very, very nice and accommodating. They finished the job in just about half the time they had originally estimated. They did a terrific job of cleaning up and even cleaned all of the old pine needles off the roof of my garage and the garages of my neighbors. I had sought two other estimates to do the work, and Adirondack charged me less than half of one company and about a third of another. Normally that would give me pause, wondering how they could be that much cheaper. But, other reviews on Angie's List convinced me to gamble. Boy am I glad that I trusted you all. But, most of all, I am glad that I have found a rare company - one that delivers great service, perfect work, and a very, VERY reasonable price. There is no way that you can go wrong with Adirondack Tree EXPERTS!

Done on-time and cleaned up beautifully. I've been using Adirondack for years and wouldn't trust a job like this to anyone else--a 50'+ oak right nestled between me and my neighbors house. John and team have been taking care of and monitoring my trees for years--my neighbor wanted me to remove the tree 10 years ago and kept fighting with Adirondack to try to get them to remove it or remove certain branches, but John always calmly explained that he wouldn't do any work that would compromise the health of the tree and that removing a healthy tree was not advisable (and likely wouldn't be approved by the city). Finally, last summer, it was clear that the oak tree was in decline. John gave me a quote to clean up branches and keep it as healthy as possible but gave me a head's up that the tree would likely need to be removed in the next couple of years. I opted to go ahead and have it removed. John's team walked me through what I needed to do to request the permits and how long it would likely take to get approvals. My tenants and neighbors both raved about how quickly and professionally the work was done. Despite the tree being in a tight space, they were able to remove everything without any damage. I love how John will go into detail on the work he does and does not advise. He'll give you a quote on what he strongly recommends along with other options.

Excellent tree work company! We were very impressed with Adirondack, from estimate through completion. They did a very detailed no-pressure estimate, which they stuck to. Scheduling was easy and they were quick to respond to phone calls. The guys showed up right on time and did an amazing amount of work in just a few hours. They were extremely conscientious and carefully cleaned up after themselves. They even asked my neighbor if they could enter her yard before doing so, since they knew it would let them work more quickly and get more done.

They were half the price of anyone else who gave me a quote and they did a fine job. I mean, they did what I asked them to do. They came and they're very polite on the phone, very polite there.

I have been meaning to write a review for some time. The office staff was very prompt and professional. We had to reschedule twice for inclement weather, but they squeezed me in very quickly. Clever and his team came out and did an awesome job. My boys thought Clever was "the coolest guy ever!". You can tell these guys love their job. It was really amazing to watch. They were quick and efficient. Price was a little higher than a competitor found on Angie's List, however, there was a long wait with the other company and Adirondack was able to get our job done very quickly. Adirondack is professional and very easy to work with. I would definitely higher them again without hesitation.

They showed up on time with a crew of 5-6 people in two trucks, one with a cherry picker that could reach across my yard and house from the alley and reached to my house from the street. They aggressively trimmed the trees we had designated, more than I expected. A neighbor who knows more about trees than I do and who had previously used a different tree service was very impressed with their work. They communicated with me very well while they were working and cleaned up very well when they were done. I wish I could remember how much I paid. I believe it was more than $1200 and less than $1400 but I believe I received a fair value. There had been a couple of tree people who had stopped by to offer to do some tree work for prices that varied greatly without being specific about what would be done. The Adirondack advisore,a certified professional, also told me that some of the work I was asking for, based on what these individuals were pitching, was not necessary and/or detrimental to the trees. So I believe I received good value an will use them again in the future.

After initial contact someone showed up to take a look at the tree just a couple days later and gave me an estimate on the spot. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Once I signed the contract, the crew was scheduled for a few days later and they showed up an hour earlier than scheduled, which worked very well for me. They took the tree down and removed all debris in less than an hour. I also asked if they'd remove a couple other limbs from another tree (this wasn't part of the original job) and they gladly did so with no extra charge. They were great. I don't have any idea how they could have been better unless they did it all for free. But even the price was a lot lower than I expected. Outstanding all the way around.

Adirondack sent a rep to the house to estimate the cost for trimming trees away from my house. There were two large trees in the front yard that had branches overhanging the front walkway and roof. I was given a quote to consider, and if I wanted to proceed I had a written agreement to sign, so everything was clear. I thought the price was fair and I made an appointment to have the work done. They came right on time and did the work promptly and well. They had two people on the ground and a third one that used a rope harness to get to higher branches. They cleaned up everything very well, and I am happy with the work they did.

Adirondack did a great job. They were on time, quick, efficient, respectful of the neighbors, and cleaned up everything. They went out of their way to cut the stump down as low as possible. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent administrative support by Jaimee - Estimator Dan Miller gave suggestions on what to do - and what not to do. Crew arrived at 7:30am this morning - I did ask for first appt and was told 7:30-8:00am arrival. A smiling foreman rang the doorbell, told me what they (+4 men and trucks and stamp grinder) are going to do, checked back with me when work was done = better than excellent. Thank you, Adirondack Tree Experts.

There was some mix-up regarding the time of the service, which was quickly resolved. We received a call letting us know when the team was on their way. One gentleman quickly climbed the tree and did all of the cutting (from in the tree) while the other team members stayed on the ground carefully directing the falling tree limbs, chopping up said limbs and finally taking the debris to the chipper. Efficient and organized service. The yard was raked and blown of all leaves/debris before the team left. Attention was even taken to blow any fallen leaves off of our deck. The yard looks better now than it did before they came! I will certainly use Adirondack Tree Experts again.

The crew arrived right on time and quickly set to work. They worked quickly, safely and professionally. They cleaned up the branches and leaf litter after working on each tree. Most of the debris was put into a chipping machine and blown into a truck. Leaves in the front yard were blown off the sidewalk and driveway. We originally were only going to have 3 trees worked on, however, a few weeks after we set up the appointment, our next-door neighbor gave us permission to trim the part of their tree that overhung our driveway. I called Jamie at the Adirondack office and she said that I should speak to the crew supervisor when they showed up for the other trees and ask him how much the additional work would cost. When they arrived and I asked him, his estimate of $50 seemed more than fair for the work and risk involved; they had to climb about 50 feet up the tree in order to cut off the dead limb. As an aside, this is the second time we've used their services. We were also very pleased that they gave us a break on the price of the work because we were a repeat customer. Overall, we were very pleased and we'll call them if and when we need more work done on our trees.

They did a good job and were really excellent.

The Adirondack crew took less than two hours to complete the task. And at my request, the company dispatched the crew a day earlier than it had initially agreed to.

Fantastic. Arrived with full equipment and crew of 4 on the dot. Inspected job and confirmed all needs. Immediately went to work, and continued until all cuttings and debris cleaned up and removed. Thoroughly cleared the area, street, driveway, etc. Work was completed in 2 hours. Very pleased with removal and trimming result !

I am very pleased with the work that Cory, Jose, Ben and Antonio performed. They were punctual (actually came early), professional, neat and thorough. They worked hard and were very safety-oriented. They cleaned up all the branches, leaves and berries and they hauled everything away. I was so pleased with the service that I called the company's main office as the gentlemen were leaving to let the bosses know that I am a satisfied customer.

Excellent job. They arrived on time. When we asked that they determine if a nest in one of the trees scheduled for removal, was active, Troy climbed up in the tree and inspected it prior to cutting it down. They thoroughly cleaned up the yard and driveway when the job was complete. They were extremely careful to prevent any damage to the house or other trees when they did the requested removal and pruning.

They were great! They were very knowleable about how tricky the job was. There were a number of electrical lines they had to maneuver the tree trunks around. The entire job took less than 2 hours, and the tree was about 60 feet tall. They even took away some of our bamboo without charging us.

Adirondack was great from our first call through the completion of the job. We got estimates from several different tree removal services, some recommended by friends and family and some we found on Angie's List. Adirondack was very responsive, gave a very good estimate, and explained what needed to be done in a clear way that was consistent with our other estimates as well. The job was very big - some of the other companies said they would have to bring a crane - but Adirondack sent over several workers who did the whole job in about 8 hours. The workers were professional and efficient, but also were happy to be friendly to our small children who were watching them work. I would definitely recommend Adirondack and use them again.

Crew showed up on time. (Sort of. The crew showed up at the scheduled time. But the office had called to confirm and gave a time slot of an hour earlier than the originally scheduled time. Just to be safe, I left home an hour early so as not to miss them. But the crew arrived right at the originally scheduled time.) The dead tree was quickly dispatched. They proceeded to trim trees. The original survey missed a tree, so I pointed it out them, and they trimmed that one too. They cleaned up and left well within the time allotted. No problems at all.
