Description of Work: We have had numerous home improvement projects done by Urso Remodeling. I can't imagine trusting anyone else to work on our home. Darryl is very responsive and takes great care in a job well done and is respectful of your house during each project. His team is VERY tidy while working on your home. TRUST ME, you will not be sorry you used Urso!

+ 1 moreDarryl and Christian were the team who worked on installing our roof and new deck. Because they were so meticulous we wanted them to redo our master bath. We had new tile put on the floor, around our jacuzzi and glass shower stall. Darryl’s work is unparalled because he is meticulous in all his work. There was a lot of detail work involved in this project and because of his work ethic we are completely pleased with the finished project. This team is professional, trustworthy and didn’t take anything for granted. They checked with us before doing something to be sure it turned out the way we wished. We would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat.

We felt no pressure and we were impressed that Urso Remodeling Company used certified contractors. We replaced our roof and it looks beautiful. There was no mess left behind. Everything that we discussed and agreed upon was completed with efficiency, excellent workmanship and within the timeframe outlined.

Description of Work: The banging and hammering has stopped, and I have a beautiful new roof professionally and efficiently installed by Urso Remodeling. After obtaining several estimates, I went with Urso for several reasons. Darryl, their sales person/project manager, took his time diligently explaining to me the step-by-step process he uses to give me an accurate and fair estimate. This was the first company that actually climbed onto my roof, took pictures, and assessed the roof before giving me an estimate. Since my home was built in the mid 1980s, Darryl explained that the plywood roofing sheets that were used then are not in code for today's environment and that if they needed to be replaced, the job would be a little more expensive. He included in the price 6 new sheets because by walking on my roof he could tell that there were at the very least that many that were spongy. My roof needed more plywood sheets replaced and he replaced them at cost. So although the estimate was not the lowest, his patience and clarity in educating me about the roofing process made all the difference. The price fell right in the middle of the 3 estimates I received, but none of the others had gone up on my roof or mentioned the possibility of any problems with the plywood. In fact, two of my neighbors had used roofers who did not explain this to them, and as their jobs progressed they were informed they needed 28 new sheets which nearly doubled the original stimate. During the installation, the roofing installers were professional and worked steadily in terrible heat to complete the job. Darryl visited several times each day to assess the progress. Whereas, he could have pressured me to replace the gutters, he repaired what I had and secured them to the fascia board at no extra charge. Their clean-up process was most impressive. I haven't found a nail or screw in my yard. Even though Urso has been in business for 15+ years, my sense was that I was working with a new company that wished to make a great impression. Needless to say, I would recommend Urso Remodeling to anyone in this area who needs a roof repaired or replaced.

+ 0 moreThe crew was extremely nice and polite. They did things exactly the way that I wanted things done. Only their people do the work; they do not sub-contact. They were very quick to get the job down. They cleaned up all their supplies when they were finished. They were very thorough in picking up all the staples and nails that were outside on the ground. The lead carpenter came back through my house to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction and he told me if something wasn't good enough for me he would personally fix it. The finished product was beautiful. My property was nice and clean when they were finished. They didn't leave behind or ruin anything. The men that worked on my property were: Darryl (owner, gives estimate), Scott (carpenter helper), Christian (labor and helper), and Darryl Jr. (lead carpenter).
Description of Work: They put a new roof on my front porch. They also replaced a ceiling where there was storm damage. It was a 4'x5' spot that they had to re-do the ceiling and spackle. They painted the ceiling. They fixed the main roof and repaired the shingles.
