+ -1 moreThe contractor set my upstairs on fire, causing the house to be inhabitable for months. The guy didn't use a fire extinguisher to prevent smoldering underneath the roofing, which in turn caused the fire. The owner of the company was apologetic and not nasty in the least, but the competency of his crew obviously is poor.
Description of Work: This roofing company torched a rubber roof onto my house.

+ -1 moreMr. Freedman and his company did roofing work on my house. All of the work has continued to be unsatisfactory to this day. For the past several months he has not returned my telephone calls, nor has he come to the house to correct the leaking problems. The front roof has continued to leak every time it rains, as well as the rear roof. For a while he came back and made various repairs, replacing flashing, caulking, etc. Nothing has worked and leaking continues, the front roof as if it poured directly from a hole in the roof. He contends that the windows need replacing, but 3 workers state it is not the windows, but the roofs are not been properly replaced/repaired. A window expert states that there needs to be a curved lip rather than the flashing being straight to correct the situation.
Description of Work: Company replaced the front half of the asphalt shingle roof. Also, did repair work on the back roof over top the kitchen. The work was performed in May of 2004, and has continued through 2006.
