Please with responsiveness and punctuality of the organization. Initial visit was delayted due to rain which was confiormed evening prior. Work required two viists (first was cleaning , second was install cap and repair chimney top). Good communuication on scheduling throughout.

Very punctual and polite. Kept house clean around work area. As far as I know, they did a good job (i.e. I didn't see inside chimney).

Magic Chimney Sweep followed up on a request to clean my chimney ( they originally requested this in the Fall but that was not a good time for me. I don't use the fireplace much so I wasn't concerned about holding off on any appoinment for several months. I the meantime Angies offered a Deal for inspection of fireplaces along with a cleaning. I took dvantage of that and completely forgot that Magic was scheduled to call me. I took the suggestions that were made from the previous supplier who I paid for the inspection and cleaning and asked if Magic would be willing to look and give me their suggestion and quote. Eric and his helper Rob were very professional and their price a little better so they did the work. I was pleased overal!

The staff was very professional, and got right to work. We had a lot of questions that they were happy to answer. They suggested some work in our older home that we might consider in the future. I will definitely use them again.

IRRESPONSIBLE. Our chimney has two flues, one for the fireplace and the other for the oil-fired furnace. Magic chimney has been coming for years to sweep our chimney. Turns out they only clean the fireplace flue and never told me that. It finally occurred to me to ask them about it at this service.They told me not to worry about it. Well, it turns out that the furnace exhaust is much nastier than that of firewood and we very much needed to keep up with that. On another note, they are relatively high pressure sales folks for their services. If you don' t like that, choose another company.

While working on my neighbor's chimney 2 of the boards fell off the top of the scaffolding and hit my back porch, chain link fence, damaged vinyl window frame and ripped kitchen window screen. When I brought this to their attention they were already in my neighbor's yard, looking at the damages. At that time, the 40lb scaffolding boards were in my neighbor's yard because he picked them up. I asked that they take pictures of every thing that was damaged (and they did and so did I). When I followed up with several phone calls I never received any feedback on what the company was planning to do to reimburse me for the damage. Finally 3 months later I spoke with some one who told me they were only going to give me a $100 dollars to fix the damages. I told her that wouldn't enough, and to come down and see for herself. She told me "if we're in the neighborhood in a year or two... we might stop by." After hearing that I was shocked. I just want the damages fix. I can't believe that process has been so difficult. My insurance company is also trying to get my $500 deductible back from them as well, but they won't call my agent back. I think my only option is to go to court. But if I do go to court, I will sue for more then $500. I will try for the maximum. This could have been a simple fix but, they refuse to work with me.

Had our chimney swept by another company, who reported to us that the lining of the chimney was falling in and gave us an estimate to repair it. We contacted Magic Chimney Sweeps, and the were out the next day to provide an estimate. Eric was polite and professional, and took the time to explain all that they were going to do. He also took digital photos of the chimney insides and showed them to us, something the other company didn't do. Their estimate was considerably less than the first company, so we went with Magic based on service and price. Less than a week later the new insert was installed, and the job was done. Can't say enough good about these guys--they did a great job and were prompt, polite, professional, and thorough.

Good job. Magic showed up within the agreed upon window of time. They were fast and professional.

The company was easy to deal with. They set up an appointment for within a week of my call. The chimney sweep arrived during the specified time window. He put down a tarp to protect my living room, inspected and vacuumed the chimney.

I THINK FOR THE MONEY I PAID THE SERVICE WAS LACKING AT BEST. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES. THEY GOT UP ON THE ROOF AND RAN A ROUND BRUSH DOWN THE CHIMNEY ABOUT THREE TIMES. THEY THEN BRUSHED THE FLUE WITH A HAND HELD BRUSH. THEY TRIED TO SELL ME A 300 DOLLAR CHEMICAL TREATMENT. WHEN I REFUSED, THEY VACUUMED AND LEFT.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY AND LEFT NO MESS. THEY PROVIDED INFORMATION ON REPAIRS THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE ONCE THE WEATHER WARMED UP. PERSONAL INSPECTION PROVED THAT THE REPAIRS RECOMMENDED NEED TO BE DONE.

I CALLED MAGIC CHIMNEY SWEEPS ORIGINALLY TO REPAIR THE INTERIOR OF THE FIREBOX OF FIREPLACE. IN TALKING WITH THE SERVICEMAN ABOUT MY HAVING TO LEAVE THE DAMPER OPEN ALL THE TIME BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN INSTALLED SO HIGH UP THAT I COULD NOT REACH IT TO CLOSE, HE TOLD ME THAT HE COULD INSTALL A CAP THAT WOULD OPERATE BY A SPRING LOADED CHAIN. IT WAS JUST THE BEST THING FOR ME TO HAVE.

MAGIC CHIMNEY SWEEPS HAVE CLEANED BY FIREPLACE CHIMNEY MANY TIMES. THEY ALWAYS CALL TO REMIND ME THAT IT IS TIME FOR A CLEANING. THEY ARE VERY NEAT AND DON'T GET ANY ASHES, ETC. ON MY CARPETING.

I REALLY LIKE THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE CLEANED OUR FIREPLACE, AND CHIMNEY FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS, AND THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY NEAT IN THEIR WORK. THEY HAVE ALSO SHOWN UP AT THEIR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME.
