Description of Work: I had furniture moved from my Uncle's house to a storage facility. The house was small with narrow steep stairs and the furniture was large and heavy.

Description of Work: They showed up early, worked straight through and completed the move in record time. Every attention to detail both in the from location to the to location was exceptional. Came fully prepared and finished up smaller items for us. No extra charges or surcharges for using their boxes or equipment. Flat rate without nickle-dime-dollaring us after the fact. Great company to work with and highly recommend them. The only difficulty we had was the initial contact but we presevered and it was well worth the effort.

 + -1 moreBest movers we have ever hired! They were professional, arrived on time and got right to work. There was not a nick or mark on any of our walls, and they even figured out how to get a couch out of a very tight space. All of our items arrived in good shape, with no damage. In the new place, they helped assemble furniture and bed frames as well. They were great!

 + -1 moreAll phone calls were returned in a prompt manner - they came at the time they promised even though it was an icy morning. They had to disassemble and reassemble a few pieces. Everyone was professional and very congenial. Moving is always stressful but they made it a pleasant experience. Would use again if needed and would recommend them to anyone needing moving services.

 + -1 moreMover came highly recommended by the facility where my Mom was living. They were punctual, efficient, diligent, professional, and very sociable. I cannot believe how quickly they moved out (and in) all the packed belongings and furniture. They picked up all the last minute pieces and boxed them, transported everything to the new facility, and brought each item into its designated space (and there was a lot of and quot;stuffand quot;).. They were cheerful and remarkably caring about the items they were transporting. The owner was not only present, he was working beside his crew and directing every single item. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. Thanks, Mike and Crew!

 + -1 moreIt was a great experience. In addition to their professionalism and care for my furniture and personal effects, they set things up without having to be told how to put them together. Although the price was a little higher than the estimate, it was several hundred less than I expected. I know I didn't have to, but I gave them a $200 tip. It was so nice to have such a hassle-free move.
Description of Work: Mover showed up on time; three guys were young, but very professional. I had told the owner I was moving from a third-floor bedroom, had things in the garage, and a filled 10X15 storage area to a third-floor condo. He said it would take about six hours (I figured it would take longer) at $160 an hour - it seemed like a lot, but I had already used several "budget" movers who took way longer (into days) and their estimates were way off. I had already cancelled on Mr. Crabb once when my closing did not go through, so I was surprised he wanted to move me at all. He was willing to take a sofa bed and love seat (beautiful, but not to everyone's taste), and give it to someone who needed it. One of the movers also took a working "dorm" refrigerator he said he could use. They were very careful, and had all the mats/blankets on the truck as well as wardrobe boxes. None of the other movers used any of that (guess that's why they are budget!).

Very helpful too with assembly and such. The crew was exceptional; friendly and easy-going guys. Couldn't have asked for a better moving experience!

 + -1 moreI can't say enough about how good these guys were! I had tried, but fell far short of having everything neatly packed up in boxes, ready to be toted to the PODs for storage. Not only did they pack it all up without complaint, but they got it all in 3 PODs (I had ordered 4). They were really amazing; I would recommend them without hesitation.
Description of Work: Moved furniture and "stuff" out of the house into storage PODs. Moved dozens of heavy boxes of books.

 + -1 moreMike was responsive and professional from the first phone call. On the day of the move he showed up on schedule with 3 other guys. They were professional and precise, and personable. They were extremely careful with each piece of furniture and every box they moved. I would definitely recommend MR Crabb!

 + -1 moreThey were prompt and estimated the amount of time to complete the job accurately. There were 4 guys doing the work and always asked if there was anything they were uncertain of. When I asked for any assistance it was gladly provided. It was a good experience and recommend them highly.

 + -1 moreShowed up when they said, very curteous men. Mike's son is a moose. We both felt extremely comfortable with our things in their hands. Took great care. They adjusted quite well to different changes we made and even drove across town to grab a few things from my office with no complaints. Mike is a consumate professional and more than fair.
Description of Work: MR Crabb moved the belongings of my 300 year old home to a new home 10 miles away. They did not pack but moved everything.
