Description of Work: Jim was a very nice gentleman. He was punctual and very informative. He was able to diagnose my washer and dryer issues and give me an estimate on repair costs. We ended up replacing the washer and dryer because the cost of repair wasn't worth it to us. But Jim was great about everything.

Description of Work: First the oven to our dual fuel range died. Then our dishwasher. Then we realized that we had just given in to BGE's demands that we install a smart meter. We are waiting for the control panel for the oven to be shipped, but the dishwasher thermal fuse was immediately available and it is up and running again. We are big do-it-yourselfers, so didn't want to pay to have the work done by someone else. However, circumstances conspired to require that we hire someone to do it for us this time. I pored over the Angie's List site, looking for an appliance repair with good ratings. It paid off! These guys are really good, and smart and communicative. Everything one would want in a service trade. I cannot recommend them enough!!! We are so happy that the one time we had to pay for someone else to do the work, we were able to access the List, find a great service company and have absolutely no regrets! Yay! Description of Work: Our refrigerator was leaking water and making a sheet of ice under the deli tray. Our repairman, the owner returned my call for service promptly and came 3 days later. After examining the situation, he diagnosed the problem and gave us the option of leaving it as be and disconnecting the water and ice machine (which we do not use anyway) and he called us back within 2 hours with the cost of replacing the water holder. Jim was very professional and courteous and his rates were extremely reasonable compared to other providers I contacted. We would use him again in a heartbeat and we highly recommend his services.

The dryer is quieter than it used to be, even brand new. Home Systems Appliance Repair was excellent.
