Description of Work: My washing machine was not spinning the water out of the clothes during the normal wash cycle, I would have to put it on the spin cycle afterward to remove the remaining water. First visit from repairman, I was told that the lint catcher on the end of the discharge hose needed to be changed more often because it was expelling water back into the washer ( this sounded like a load of !!!! to me. This did not solve the problem and scheduled another appointment, the repairman said that the outer spin basket had a failed baring, and it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new washer. The washer is only five years old-I am not sure if the repairman knew what he was doing, two visits 125.00 and still having the same problem. I would not use this company again!

Also thank you for trusting us as a service provider in repairing multiple appliances in your home over the last 10 years. Repeat business from a customer is one of the highest compliments a company can receive. I am sorry for the poor service you received from my company. It is paramount that when I receive negative criticism, we quickly and aggressively change protocols and systems to ensure it never happens again. In the first service call I noticed your 5 year front load Samsung washer drain line was wrapped with a mesh drain filter that was heavily clogged with lint. I replaced the filter and tested the unit. After this test the unit appeared to be working. During my second trip to your property I discovered that the rear drum bearing assembly was severely worn. This caused the unit to vibrate and never achieve an appropriate high RPM spin mode. This condition should have been discovered in the he first service call. I am refunding the full amount of the service charge - $ 125.00. This is surprising to find in a 5 year old machine however not unprecedented. Many manufacturers ( particularly Asian) use repurposed materials in production which may compromise structural integrity prematurely. Description of Work: Refrigerator condenser fan would shutoff when the environment got too hot. Technician came out a couple of times trying to locate the exact issue. They tried replacing the fan and the relay switch which are the typical failure points. This did not solve the problem so they recommended full refrigerator replacement as there was likely a flaky wiring issue. They placed an exterior fan on the condenser to allow the refrigerator to be operational while a new one was ordered. FYI comments: This was a rental unit for me and I was not onsite for the technician but they called me promptly each time. It was not clear in the final call that the external fan placed on the unit was actually one offered by my tenant versus one provided by the company. I would have preferred the fan source be something the company provided.

Dear Angie's List Member, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your service experience with my company. Also thank you for pre- purchasing the "$ 99.00 Appliance Repair Deal" through the Angie's List platform. By buying this product in advance you placed great trust in my company and this is something I do not take for granted. I understand that even after capturing the price of the deal, the repair for your Whirlpool High Efficiency top load washer still would have been cost prohibitive. The repair involved replacing the spin basket, outer tub and tub seal to address the leaking and noise issues. While labor would have been extensive (3 plus hours), the parts cost of almost $1,000.00 made this repair untenable. While at the home, I was happy to check the vent pressure of the dryer and realized there was a partial restriction. Moreover, the total cost of the service was $ 99.00, not the $ 199.00 you quoted. If there was a billing error on Angie's List part please make me and the Angie's List Billing / Accounts department aware of this.
