James was by far one of the most professional service technicians I have ever had come to my home. He was punctual and polite. He went right to work - quickly diagnosed why the dryer was not properly heating, and repaired a thermal fuse that had blown. He suggested that the dryer be cleaned because there was an excessive amount of built-up lint. He spent about 45 minutes taking the entire dryer apart - removing the drum, and fully disassembling the blower assembly. He was incredibly thorough and cleaned every nook and cranny he could reach. He was courteous enough to have brought a large blanket , which he spread out around his work area to keep all of the dust and dirt contained. Once everything was taken apart - he noticed that the blower wheel was cracked and needed replacement. He had the replacement part on hand in his truck, and quickly replaced it. He very courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. I was very impressed - and have asked my home warranty company to place him on my preferred contractors list. I have no complaints whatsoever, and would highly recommend Home Systems & James to my family & friends.

The Owner, James, answered the phone when we called to setup a time. He came to our home when scheduled. Working quickly and professionally he solved the problem (blown thermal fuse) and corrected errors by a past technician (unknown). Told us in advance his charges and billed only what he had told us. Very good experience.

All communications were by email with no indications that this company preferred to make arrangements by phone. An appointment was set up for yesterday based on "openings they claimed were available" 12/13/10. I named a time and got no reply until after they failed to confirm and failed to show up, inconveniencing my tenant's parents.

Previously, we had used James to repair a new Whirlpool Washing Machine out of warranty. James did such a good job, I called him to repair the dishwasher. He is efficient, courteous, and neat. After assessing the problem, he gave us a flat rate estimate, we paid a $75.00 deposit, and paid the balance when the dishwasher job was completed.

I called on Friday morning and left a message and my call was returned later that morning. Jim said he would be the technician and that he could come out on Sat. (which I could not do). So he said he would give me a late afternoon time slot that very day. He explained it would cost $75.00 to come out and diagnose the problem but if he went ahead with the work then this fee would not be added to the parts and labor bill. He said he would call 1/2 hr. before arriving and he did. He quickly took the dryer apart and diagnosed the problem We discussed repairing vs. buying a new one. He was candid, unbiased and practical. I agreed to the repair and he had the parts on his truck. When he had the dryer pulled out, I was able to vacumn and clean the lint accumulated behind and under the dryer (preventing fire). When he finished up with the dryer, Jim also gave me advice on a cooktop which is also old. I was satisfied with his work and would have him return to repair other appliances (which he also does) since most of mine are 15-20 years old and will be needing repairs.

He came promptly and made the repair, all within an hour. He explained everything and very professional. I would use this company again.

Arrived on schedule, pleasant and informative, completed work in a timely fashion with subsequent performance as expected. Overall an excellent experience.

The company responded within a couple of hours after I sent an e-mail asking for service. The company rep. took the information about the problem, gave me an extimate for repair,ordered the part and set an appintment for the service tech to come the following business day to do the repair. The service tech arrived promptly, replaced the burner in 5 minutes and charged us $35 total for the service call. The part was still under mfg. warranty.

James was very polite and quick. The price for a technician to come out is very reasonable ($30) and can be applied to the work charges. I will definately use Home systems in the future.

I called and reached James right away. We scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. He arrived exactly on time and evaluated the drier. I was impressed with his professionalism and the care he took to diagnose the drier. We ended up needing to order a part and he returned promptly and made the repair once the part came in. I have had some negative experiences with other appliance repair companies, and I will say that Home Systems really made me happy with their quality and professional approach.

The best thing about this company is that they will arrive in very short notice and very quickly. I have used a couple of times for our washer and our dryer which are both older models. The servicemen are always respectful of our home and clean up after themselves.

They set up a service time window. They called me at the earliest time, told me they would be there in half an hour, and they were there exactly when they said they would be.

They were on time, very polite, and explained exactly what was wrong and what they had to order for me. They called me when the part came in and were very prompt coming to replace it.
