James showed up on time and serviced the stove. I was very impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his work.

Jim came out on the service call on Wednesday morning and assessed the problem. He called with an estimate within 30 minutes and offered to come back and make the repair later that day. I scheduled the repair for Thursday. He completed the work in an hour and the fridge is working great.

Mr. James suggested that since the washer was 22 years old it would be to our benefit to buy a new one. He suggested some manufactors to look into. We were very pleased with his professionalism and honesty. Since he didn't have to take anything apart to diagnose the problem, he gave us a discount on the service call. He was good. He was really great to work with. He let me vacuum under the stove and he let me take as much time as needed to do that.

After my dryer quit pumping heat, I looked up Jim on Angies List. He was at my house in half an hour. A true pro, (he has been in the business more than two decades), he promptly diagnosed my problem. Since I have two dryers, I asked him to do the second one, too, since it had been under-performing. Turns out, it needed his expertise, as well. Now I have two old, but high-performing dryers that should keep on keeping on for several more years. He was prompt, polite and professional. I'm very satisfied.

My son called Home Systems on 1/15/2014 because my refrigerator began leaking water the night before. He had cut off the water and determined it was a value in the bottom of the refrigerator that was leaking. Home Systems ordered the part and scheduled an appointment for 1/17/2014 between 8 and noon. Jim gave us a heads-up 15 minutes before he arrived at 8:30; just as promised. He replaced the value and the copper tubing that had deteriorated with age. He was very professional and friendly. Even the dogs liked him. I will definitely use them again.

Mr. Charles called the day of the appointment and gave me a 4 hour window on when he would arrive. About 30 minutes out he called me again to let me know he was on his way. Prior to entering my home he put on his shoe covers so he wouldn't track anything into my house (appreciated that). He found where the water was coming out pretty quick and proceeded to find the cause. About 5 or 10 minutes of exploring he found a toy car and toy block that was lodged in the tray that the detergent goes in (front load washer). He told me that this would cause a splash back which caused the water to pool up and overflow in the drip pan. Even though he found the cause he still did a thorough check of all the other components. He cleaned the filter, he checked the gaskets and even tightened all the hoses. He shows great pride in his work and you can see it. If I need my washer repaired in the future then he is my first call.

He thought there was an issue with the water line from the filter to the dispenser. it was fixed briefly but the issue returned 2x. Ultimately he needed to replace it but the part is no longer available. We decided not to replace the entire door either. It was Mr. Charles who said he would refund us the entire amount we paid (included initial assessment, labor and parts) because he said "the problem was not fixed". I was pleasantly surprised at his professionalism and honesty. I would definitely recommend Mr. Charles again and use him in the future if any of our major appliances needs repair.

Jim came and assessed the situation and found he needed to order the gasket that was needed. He charged $105 for the call which was applied to the entire bill at the end. He returned when he said he would and carefully pulled out the dishwasher and made the repair. He asked if we would like him to fix the creaky door while he was here since he knew that he had the part needed on his truck. He left our kitchen clean and the floor unscratched. We were happy with the results. Especially the now-silent door.

Good customer service. Came on time, actually he arrived to my rental property before I got there and had already found the problem. I will use them again in the future.

My fridge stopped working and called Home Appliance Repair. Service was quick, easy to set up, friendly and professional. A quick fix and I appreciated the honest service.

It did work! I will call this company for any repairs in the future because that level of honesty is extremely rare. I appreciate his candidness and his advice and would gladly recommend him to any one of my friends or colleagues.

Jim returned the call right away and set up appointment to come in . He called the day of the appointment to let me know the exact time that he could be in. After looking at the dish washer then he told me that he had to order the part. I paid $95.- for the diagnosis which was put toward the cost of repairing. He called to let me know that he already got the part and could be back any time I wished. He came back a couple of days after and it only took him about 40 minutes to finish it. He wore his blue booties to protect my hard wood floor every time that he came in. He was very polite and very professional.

I am very pleased. I called Home Systems late morning and the service man was able to come to the house and fix my washer this afternoon. Since the washer was full of water and would not empty I was thankful he could come today. Before arriving at the house the service provider explained there would be a 90.00 estimate cost. which WOULD BE deducted from the parts and labor cost. The service provider I called before Home Systems also had a 95.00 estimate cost which WOULD NOT be deducted from the parts and labor cost. For a total cost of 229.50 the hoses on my washer were replaced along with some bearings and a part that kept the washer from spinning and emptying. I will be recommending Home Systems to family and friends.

I thought the guy that came out was excellent. He explained everything he was doing as well as any other questions I had.

The provider returned my call within a few hours and scheduled an appointment. They let me know the price of the service fee upfront. The day of service, the provider called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way and was there between the allotted time we discussed. The repair was quick and painless.

Jim initially replaced our non-functioning icemaker with a new unit. By the next day it became apparent that this had not fixed the problem, as the new icemaker was not making ice either. Jim returned the next day and fixed a switch that was out of range, which caused the new icemaker to immediately begin working. I initially gave Jim a less than perfect review on this site because I felt like he may have installed a new icemaker that we didn't really need when the problem was really with the electrical connection all along. In response to my review, Jim called me and gave me more detail about the steps he had gone through to determine that the original icemaker needed to be replaced. He was very courteous throughout the phone call and truly seemed concerned that I wasn't completely satisfied with the service. Ultimately, he offered to refund half of the repair cost, which I felt was more than fair. Ultimately, I feel like Jim is a very honest person who really cares about customer service.

First of all, I called on Monday at 10:00 approximately. Jim called back at 10:15. We set up an appointment for the next day. He said he would call before arriving. Jim called at approximately 1:40 to say he would be there about 2:00 He arrived at 2:00. He looked very professional. His manner was extremely courteous. He wore protective coverings on his feet so as not to track dirt into the house. JIm got right to work. He found the problem, fixed it and left within 45 minutes.

Excellent service. We called first thing in the morning, and Mr. Charles was able to schedule us in the afternoon. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem without delay and was able to quickly fix the broken coupling in about 30 minutes from the time he walked in the door. He definitely knows his way around this type of washer. Very professional. Very personable. I will definitely call him again and recommend him without reservation.

I contacted the provided to fix my dryer on a Thursday. He asked what the problem was and the brand. His earliest appointment was on a Monday. I was not available, so we scheduled for Tuesday. At the initial call, I was not sure of brand, so I called back to relay the info. This time I inquired about the cost and was told that it was $95 to come out and look at the dryer and the cost would be applied to the repair. I confirmed. I thought about it over the weekend and felt like $95 was too much to pay for a consult and estimated the final cost could be up to $300 for 3 hours of work. He also was not able to provide a specific appointment time, just 2 - 6pm with a call a half-hour before arrival. I felt like for that much money, I should be able to dictate when I have an appointment and not just sit around waiting for someone to arrive. They were professional and as courteous as a mechanical service person can be, I just felt like anything close to $300 is a brand new or even gently used dryer. In my mind, $150 to repair the dry was the maximum amount I was willing to pay. It was a good experience, I am not berating anything about this company. By the very positive reviews for this company it may be a good fit for someone else, it just wasn't right for me.

Contacted them thru Angie's list on a Saturday when I noticed that milk wasn't as cold as usual. I explained the problem in email and Jim got back to me right away. However, he was booked until Thursday or Friday. As the freezer seemed ok and the refrig was partially cool on the bottom and in the back, I decided to wait for them to come out to look at it. Jim did advise me to watch the freezer and to be very careful about using to food on the refrig side. Jim arrived right on time and he was totally correct in his guess as to what may be wrong when he emailed me on Saturday. The fan was only working at about 20% and the control board was shot. Plus he included an estimate for replacing the broken parts to the ice maker. He had to order parts and they would be in on Tuesday. He called me Tuesday morning to let me know the parts came in and scheduled me for the following day. Again, Jim arrived on time. He went about fixing everything, was very cautious about cleaning up, and protecting my kitchen counters and floors. The refrigerator and ice maker are back doing their jobs. Thank you Jim. Yes. I would highly recommend Jim and will put him on my speed dial for the future. He is so nice, so considerate, so patient with answering questions, so professional, yet friendly. PS: This refrigerator is only ten years old, made by GE. Jim also gave me the pros and cons to fixing it vs. getting a new frig. He never pressured me either way. Just gave he the facts. It basically came down to cost at this time. Again thank you Jim.

When I called the provider, I was prompted to leave a message but I received a return call within minutes. The service was scheduled for the next day and Jim was very prompt and gave me a call ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He inspected by Washer/Dryer and told me that they were very old and I may want to consider replacing them. He is not in the business of selling appliances so I found this very refreshing. I opted to have them repaired in order to buy some time before having to replacing both appliances. He was able to repair both within about an hour or so and they have been working fine every since. I would definitely call him again as I have other older appliances in my home and anticipate that they too will go "bad" at some point.

Jim exceeded all of my expectations! He was very courteous, professional, prompt and knowledgeable about all types of appliances. He fixed an oven that was not heating to the proper temperature and had a broken oven handle, he fixed a refrigerator that was leaking water from the freezer into the refrigerator area and cleaned the coils on the refrigerator, he fixed a dryer that would not heat and a washing machine that would not spin. He was even able to fix a few of the problems on the spot with parts on his truck!

James knew more about what the problem might be with the fridge than the Sears repair person who had been out a few days earlier ... and we bought the fridge from Sears!
