He was polite and seemed somewhat knowledgeable, but I did not understand why it couldn't be fixed "permanently." I ended up just buying a new refrigerator.

I live on the opposite coast from my rental property, so I need repair people to be independent and coordinate with my tenant. Home Systems did an excellent job of that and sourced a part and completed the repair quickly. I would definitely use them again.

I called JIm Charles and set up an appointment to have a service person from Home Sustems App[iance Repair see why my dryer wouldn't start and swap out my broken dishwasher for the new one I purchased. The appointment was for the next day and Jim gave me a four hour window during which the repair person would arrive and said I would get a call about a half an hour before they arrived. The next day during the four hour period, David called to say he was on his way. He first addressed the dryer and discovered the problem was a blown fuse. David replaced the fuse and the dryer started up right away. Next he installed the dishwasher and ran a cycle to make sure it worked and didn't leak. David did a great job and was pleasant to have around, I will definitely use Home Systems Appliance Repair should a need arise in the future.

Jim was awesome, professional and seemed to know what he was doing. My refrigerator was not cooling, not only did Jim come out and look at the appliance twice, when he determined it was something that he didn't work on, he refunded me the $99.00. Jim has worked on my appliances in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks!

I've used Home Systems Appliance Repair and they are always great. Very punctual, returns calls, provides status, and always reasonable. I would recommend them.

I will call these guys again if we ever need appliance service! (And, who doesn't?) I was afraid that we had a fridge emergency, because the temperature was up, but that turned out to be a door left open. Still, they were great on the phone, arranged to come the next day, and the technician was very nice. Everything was fixed and it's been running great. Couldn't be happier. :-)

He ran machine through several cycles but was not able to reproduce the problem.

Dave called when he was on his way and told me that he was stuck in traffic. He showed up within the time frame they had given me. He was able to fix the leaky dishwasher, taking it apart from the inside and tightening the unit from the bottom. He also looked into my garbage disposal that wasn't working, he tried several methods of figuring out what was wrong and determined that the motor was shot and I needed a new one. He had a new disposal in his truck and was able to replace it in the same visit. The cost was for the new garbage disposal (part) and the labor for fixing both the disposal and the dishwasher. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

It worked out fantastic! He was very professional. He also gave me a discount since I am a member with Angie's List and he was also polite. He came and fixed my freezer since it was not producing ice. He wore he is booties every time he went in and out the house. He also vacuumed the coil out and did not charge for it. I will definitely use him again.

I scheduled an appointment for Friday after purchasing a deal through Angie's List. The provider was polite and responsive on the phone. Thursday morning I received a call from the provider saying he had availability that morning and could come over immediately. He showed up on time, was courteous and professional and immediately diagnosed the problem (defective high temp thermostat) and had it fixed within 45 minutes. Would certainly use them again when appliance issues arise.

Overall, I was pleased with the work and professionalism. The serviceman was punctual, respectful, and was able to perform the work (diagnose and replace the broken ignition switch on our gas oven) within about an hour time. The only concern I had was with the price charged for the replacement part. Though I knew I was going to pay for whatever part they needed to fix (since it was in the fine print of the coupon), the amount that they charged seemed very high. When did some research online and found that I could purchase that same exact part for about 20% of their cost, it was very concerning. I brought this up and he was reasonable enough to provide a "discount", but it still ended up being much higher than I had expected. It was disappointing to see them charge such a significant premium on their parts. Otherwise, had this not been the case, they easily could receive a top "A" rating in my book. Overall I was satisfied with the work performed and the gentleman who performed it.

Everything with this company was great from start to finish. They contacted me immediately after I purchased a deal through Angie's List. They set an appointment with me and got back to me quickly whenever I called. They had the needed part on the truck and repair was made quickly. Gave them a 'B' on the price because I'm not sure how that rates on the scale. But wouldn't we all like to pay less?

The technician informed us that the cost of parts and additional labor made it not economically feasible to repair because of the age of the appliance. He recommended replacing the unit. He did this in a forthright and informative manner.

He was very nice, professional, and thorough and explained that my washer lid might be covered under a manufacturer's warranty since it has rusted already. I will definitely hire this company and again for myself and my mother.

Was more extensive and expensive than thought. The $99 turned into an additional $250 do to parts.

Mr. James Charles of Home Systems Appliance was on time, very courteous and professional. He came in and assessed the problem with the refrigerator. He gave me a written estimate of the cost of the parts, labor and said he can repair it now with my approval for which I said yes. Mr. Charles completed the repairs in less than an hours time. As he stated in 4 to 5 hours the ice maker will start to produce ice and that's what happened. Needless to say days later the icemaker is working just fine. I had a problem with my double oven (top) not producing enough heat to cook in and I asked Mr. Charles if he could look at this one. Within a few minutes he found the problem, the top heating element was not working. He didn't have the part on his truck and would need to order it. A written estimate was given for the part and labor of which I said yes to. Three days later Mr. Charles came back to our house around 545pm to make the repair. The repair was made and the oven is working just fine. I would highly recommend Mr. Charles and yes if I need an appliance repair in the future we plan to call him.

Came within the mentioned time. Was able to repair the dryer for another 25$ on top of the big deal price. Total work about 1h 30min. Did a good job. Cleaned up and was courteous.

He completely repaired the leak in my fridge. I am still amazed every time I feel for water below my lunch meat drawer. It is still dry.
