found that washer was not the problem- problem was the cold water valve needed to be replaced- repairman called a plumber that he had worked with before & left him a voice mail of work that needed to be done- plumber called within 2 hrs &b was able to come out & do repair work that same afternoon

It took two visits because it needed a part that had to be ordered. He showed up right on time for both appointments and was very methodical about diagnosing the problem. He was also friendly and professional.

Stellar! I took the ten dollars off deal for an appliance repair, and they contacted me the morning of the next business day. Their rep was unfailingly polite, made the appointment within my requested range, showed up on time, and was quick about the diagnosis and the repair. He was also exceedingly careful about not tracking in anything into the house and not making a mess.

Mr. Charles was able to see us on a short notice (and a Saturday). He gave us a window from 8:00 to 12:00 and called 15 mns before coming at 10 a.m. He was punctual, courteous, diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He even made suggestions to the general overall operation of the appliance which were very welcome. Mr. Charles even put shoe covers which shows respect for our property. Before he left he said that if the problem reoccur within the next year, he would return and fix it free of charge. I will definitely use his services for the future. Thank you Mr. Walters for a good experience.

The serviceman was here for well over and hour. He was honest enough to tell us it was't worth put the money into the repair. Actually they would be my first call for an appliance repair.

We had a fairly new refrigerator and the freezer was getting warm and thought it just needed a minor repair. The guy looked and stated that the compressor is filled and clogged. He stated that we would have to replace the entire compressor and it would cost $900.00. He was only here 5-10 minutes. We had to hire someone else to come out to haul away the refrigerator.

They ordered the part which came early. Installed and worked fine.

The large majority of the time I've hired them, everything has gone very smoothly, A+, no complaints at all. The last time, however, it was not ideal. I had hired them to install a new cooktop on the stove, because the glass had cracked. Six weeks later, the glass on the new cooktop cracked. The tenants denied that it was their fault, and said it might have to do with the wiring. The technician who installed it went back out and, of course, claimed that there was nothing wrong with the wiring, and blamed the tenants. I still have no idea what the problem was and I ended up getting a whole new stove. It felt like HSRA took no responsibility for the fact that their installation might have been flawed, and they said their service and parts warranty didn't apply because it was the tenants' fault. That experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I will probably use them again since I have had other good experiences with them, but it felt like I got hung out to dry by both HSRA and the tenants, who just blamed each other and I had no recourse against either.

That was very good. It was fine. The guy answered any questions over the phone, and made sure he had everything that he needed before he got there. He did an excellent job. I'm very pleased with that service, and I wished that I would had called him the second time, but I didn't do it.

My washing machine was too far gone to be repaired. Jim recommended a few brands of machine that are good and I went with one he suggested. I have used Jim before and have been very pleased with all aspects. I had purchased an Angies List coupon and since he couldn't repair my machine they will honor the coupon up to 1 year.

The contractor did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem, and was able to repair the freezer without any new parts, by correcting an installation mistake made by the manufacturer during original assembly. He carefully explained exactly what he was doing.

Prior to repair oven would not go on. After repairs were made, oven was working again.

Parts are required to be ordered so the final work is pending.

This is the 2nd time that we've called this repair shop. Each time they've been very professional and have fixed the problems. This time we had 2 refrigerators with problems. The one was as simple as a clogged pump. We were grateful that he didn't make the problem bigger than it really was. One visit was for the diagnosis and correcting 1 refrigerator. Another stop was needed when the part came in which was used to correct our other refrigerator.

The rep that came out was on time, very friendly and courteous (including bringing shoe covers). The price was as agreed and the work was done quickly and very well. The dryer is back up and running again. The rep also gave us tips on how to keep the problem from coming back up. I would definitely use Home Systems again.

He was everything that someone can desire in a reapir service provider. He was punctual, straightforward, accomodating, and efficient. He answered all my questions and did not try to upsell me on anything. His prices were in line with everyone else. He even did a second small on short notice for me. Normally, I second guess my service after having repairs completed. I have no such thoughts with Jim and will hire him again for my other properties.
