We were scheduled to have them come at 7 am. They were here early and got right to work. They finished our entire fence in less than 6 hrs. They were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely consider them for our patio or deck. Great company and products. Very pleased! Highly recommended!

Charlie was great. He was early so after we were finished, he wrote a proposal/estimate in his car and knocked on my door 20 min later with it. After receiving a few quotes I believe his pricing to be fair. He was very prompt, courteous and willing to go above and beyond. Although we did not end up selecting Charlie, I would still recommend him.

The crew came on time or even a little early which was no problem. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. The fence looks good. The posts are stable and even. My only concern is that the individual pickets are not as close to the ground as I would like. I'm concerned about my dogs slipping out. I will probably need to lay some sod in places to meet the individual pickets, something I'd rather not have to spend money on. Overall the company was good to work with.

Delivery of materials came as scheduled. Installers were great, and work was excellent. Charlie the salesman was very kind, and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted within our budge.

The crew was on time, solved a technical problem ( the fence is a few inches from neighbors deck) and had the work complete and the site clean as scheduled. They answered my questions and appear to enjoy building fences. I only wish they had a business cards I could give to neighbors who admired the work.

They ran behind on other jobs and pushed ours back a few days, but they did an excellent job. We are really enjoying the fence. Thoughtful staff, they were even willing to put up a temporary fence for our dog without additional cost. I'd recommend them. Reasonable prices after getting numerous quotes.

Excel fencing made sure that we were satisfied with the installation of our fence. For as big as it was it only took a few days to install. Now our dogs have a nice area to run.

Perfect experience. Charlie is nice, not pushy at all and extremely helpful. We had problems with the city of Havre de Grace regarding the permit, but Charlie was extremely patient. The workmen that came worked hard, were extremely pleasant to deal with and left the place immaculate. I recommend this company with absolutely no reservations.

This company was great. First was the estimate with Charlie, he was very nice and knowledgeable. I had some issues with neighbors about the property lines, and he looked over my land plot and made sure we would place the fence in-bounds. The price was very reasonable. The crew who came to install the fence were terrific! They were all very nice, helpful, and very hardworking. My yard had trees in the way, and my neighbors rock garden they took care of everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The wait was only about 3 weeks, they came a day earlier. It only took 2 days, my yard is a good size and had some obstacles. I was very happy with the service!

They had a crew of 4. On day one they removed the old fence and installed a substantial portion of the new fence, and completed the installation by early afternoon on day two. Charlie was easy to work with, gave what seemed to be a decent price, had a professional crew who cleaned up after themselves and did not leave a mess in the backyard when they were finished, and installed a much nicer looking fence than the one that they replaced. I only gave a "B" on price because I did not actively shop around and while it might have been a very competitive price, it was still painful. lol

They just finished today. It took a long time for them to do what they had to do. That was back in May. It looks good. What stood out the most was the appearance of it compared to the old one that I had. The price could have been more than that. When the guy came out, he gave me price. He forgot something else to put on there to order. He didn’t and that’s what it took me a long time to wait. They came early. When they said they were coming out, they came out. What they did was okay but I might use somebody else.

Work performed in a timely manner. Work area was cleaned up area afterwards.

Everything was completed within four days. Workers arrived promptly and on schedule. Professional and courteous. Charlie the owner accommodated us being we had a party scheduled for that weekend and asked for his serves 2 weeks before. Would definitely recommend them to others and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Would have given all A's but pricing was a little higher then I wanted to pay, but You pay for what you get and to me it was well worth it I the end. Beautiful deck!!!

A representative from Excel immediately replied to our inquiry, and gave us a date and time to provide an estimate. He arrived as scheduled, and gave us several options for our property. Due to a heavy volume of business, and inclement weather, it took approximately 1 month for the fence to be installed. However, Excel provided us with a temporary fence, which they installed, so our dogs would have run of our yard in the interim, which made our lives much simpler. That was excellent service! Installation of our fence took two days, and was done to our satisfaction. We would recommend Excel for any fence contracting work.

Excel Fencing and Decking was a great company to do business. We had three estimates for a three-rail split rail fence with black wire fencing approximately 245?; all estimates were similar in price, but it was Excel who re-contacted us and was willing and eager to work with us on dates and price. They were always professional and pleasant, from Charlie who did the estimate, to the office staff, and the installers. Besides price, the other selling point was the offer of a temporary fence until the installation was complete. Even though the temporary fence turned out to be unneeded (our new puppy and the temporary enclosure were not compatible), it was a good idea. Kenny and his installation crew were also fantastic ? even when they ran into plenty of rocks where the post holes were being dug, they has such a good attitude and completed the job in two days. He made sure to contact us to make sure the materials were delivered and when he would be arriving. Genuine, caring, professional service makes the difference.
