They did a great job removing the old fence, replacing the fence and cleaning up. They were very concerned about customer satisfaction, not leaving until until the work was inspected and approved by us. I would recommend Excel to anyone.

Company was professional and punctual in coming out to provide an estimate. Cost estimate was similar to others I received but I ended up going with a different company.

I must say I was please with the work at first however the fence has only been up for 16 months we have already had to fix the gate we had to replace the original hinge and adjust the gate as well. There is wood that has already worped and broke. When I contacted the company I was promised a call back never received it and then I called again to be informed that they will not fix the damages. This should not happen with in the first 16 months. I was completely brushed off. With that being said I had referred 3 different people to this company but will no longer be doing that!

Charlie was quick to respond to my request for a quote, came out immediately, and did everything he could to beat the competition. Lisa, in the office, was my main point of contact and that girl is nothing short of amazing. Professional and patient, she took care of every question, every concern, and every change in plans. When the day finally came, the crew was mostly great. They worked really fast and had everything done in a day. I paid extra for them to cut bamboo, which they did but they left all the bamboo behind in a big pile. A big pile that also included giant chunks of wood and the sleeves from their tshirts. My dog enjoyed his big pile of chew toys, I didnt appreciate the cleanup of their discarded clothing and pieces of fence. Overall, I'd use them again and often suggest Excel to others looking for fence installation.

Overall great! A few scheduling bumps at the start but they quickly came through with a beautiful, quality looking fence that has really upgraded the look of the property. Dogs are ecstatic with their new yard. The company owner was on site several times from start to finish, to make sure it was all done the way we planned and that we were completely happy with the finished product. Could not ask for more.

Excel did a fantastic job! Charlie, the owner, came over to give an estimate and walked the proposed fence area with my sister and helped her plan the fence line in order to avoid expensive old tree roots and other obstacles. His estimate was very reasonable and when I moved in with my dogs, he came the first day and was very helpful and willing to make a change I asked for by one house window. His crew was prompt every day, very friendly and consulted with me on the gates to determine which way they should open and latch. The finished fence is great, much stronger than other split rail fences I've seen and the wire contains both of my large, strong dogs. I'm really happy with the fence and would definitely hire Excel again.

There were separate teams for the deck and fence, and both were skilled and professional. We had originally wanted a larger deck, which would have required County approval. The Excel folks went above and beyond trying to facilitate our getting a permit from the County. Ultimately we decided not to pursue the larger project. The replacement deck is beautiful, as are the canoe rack and bench we requested. The fence team also did an excellent job. Many neighbors passing by have commented on how nice it looks. Thanks to all Excel employees, including office staff, who assisted us.

I initially thought I needed a new fence until Charlie gave me his honest advice that replacing the concrete in 6 posts would straighten the stockade fence around my yard. His crew arrived as scheduled and quickly went toi work. In addition they adjusted my gate lock and told me the replacement I had purchased from Home depot could be returned. What more can you ask for? Thank You EXCEL for the great job!

Professional , kind and trustworthy

The fence was installed in September of 2016. It started well with a decent turn around time in scheduling and visit. They put up a temporary fence for us until the install so we could still let the dogs out. Unfortunately the last day of the install was on one side of the fence. They performed the install in the pouring rain now allowing them to properly install the posts on that side. Since then and to this day over a year later i’m still having issues with that side of the fence. Any bit of wind more than the usual and that side of the fence starts rocking 6-8 inches widening the post holes. I made an attempt 3 months after the install to have them repair it, they simply tried to pack more dirt into holes they told me were filled with water. One month later I had them return and they dumped dry cement mix into the holes and called it done. Here I am again with the same side of the fence loose and rocking trying once more to have them fix what should have been done right the first time. On each occasion I speak to Terry who answers their phones, and it takes multiple attempts to get her to call me back and offer any support. Almost every time I call she’s out of the office doing something else. Only after I send emails threatening to contact the BBB, attorney general, FTC, and MHIC do I get any kind of response. This latest attempt has gotten no response at all so far. They offer a lifetime workmanship warranty but try to make any issue sound like anything but. The best part is when there is an issue, they make it clear they’ll address it in between their more important paying jobs. Basically they’ll get to it when they get to it.

Came on time with a full crew and had the fence installed in approx. 5 hrs. Excellent workmanship and good job with clean up. Friendly guys, polite and hard working. Very happy and my dogs are very happy to be off the leash and free to run.

The guys were all wonderful. They showed up on time, got right to work. Even tried to find other options for bringing in supplies other than through the house. They were ridiculously helpful with every step of the process. They even removed some excess wood for me. I couldn't have asked for a more friendly, helpful and professional team. Very knowledgeable about what they were doing. It was quick and easy!! I thought the price was fair and went along with all the other estimates I had received, however with the quality and professionalism, the price exceeded my expectations. Thank you Jimmy and Ken!

They were very good and made it a straight line, dealt with many rocks digging and still made it straight :) was very happy with the way they put it up. They did a great job.

Had a great experience throughout! Charlie was beyond flexible for scheduling an estimate and getting the job done within our preferred time frame. The work crew was great and the whole job was completed in 3 days, which I thought was impressive for over 400 linear ft. We love our fence, but probably not as much as our dog does! Would highly recommend Excel for any fencing job!

First time I came across this company was with home adviser, charlie seemed very knowledgeable, the price wasn't bad but if you have any concerns or questions he doesn't have time for that. We had a tree that was in the way of the fence, instead of making any suggestions he just went around it cutting off a portion of our yard. A shame his personality ruined the sale, it was a good price.

We are very happy with our newly installed fence. We went with a 3 rail vinyl fence and it looks great. It seems very sturdy and looks like it will last for many years to come. The install team was on time, very friendly and professional. Charlie and Lisa were quick to answer emails and phone calls. Charlie went above and beyond to make sure we loved our fence and that we were 100% satisfied. I feel we made an excellent choice by choosing Excel Fencing and would recommend them to anyone.

I was contacted with a date and told the installers would be there at 7am. Sure enough, they were ringing my door bell at 7am. They were very professional, friendly and worked hard at getting the fence put up. They answered my questions and helped me to understand how the poles were being cemented and how the white privacy fence had steel poles inside to keep the fence stable. The fence is part chain link due to a neighbors fence connecting across the back to mine and along the side. I have the perfect privacy fence across the front and it helps to keep the noise down when we have rush hour traffic on my road. I am very pleased with the fence and i believe they will stand by their installation should any problems arise.

Odd place. Very responsive to initial inquiry. Very pleasant on phone. Scheduled for a bid. Confirmed the day before that they would be there at 8 am. Estimator called the morning of the appointment to reconfirm appointment and make sure we wanted a wood fence since they did not do high tensile steel. I confirmed we wanted wood. When he got there he assured me I wanted the steel mesh and was annoyed that I wasted his time. After driving an hour he did not even give me a bid on a wood fence. Ironically, I just put down a deposit yesterday for the wood fence he was sure I did not want or could not afford. As I said, very strange experience.
