I found David Kehler from other website and didn't know they had very good references at Angies. From their initial visit to the final finish they had given professional attitude and works. The price was very reasonable and the work was excellent. When they started putting up the drywall, I was really worried about my framing work if I missed some parts. But they gave good directions which parts needed to be fixed and how to do it. And they'd even fixed themselves in several areas before I tried. I will strongly recommend this company even to my friends and will use them again if I have another job.

The worker showed up on time and got right to work. His work was very neat and the repairs are invisible. Just what we were looking for.

As cost sensitive customers, my husband and I are very happy with the work, the price and the professionalism we received. I have made several minor changes during the project and they still finished a day early without compromising quality while accommodating our requests. David and his team were very respectful regarding not tracking dirt through the entire house and ensuring our pets were not getting out of the back yard as they were coming and leaving. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, kept heir promises, and patiently addressed all of our requests and questions. David and Carl checked with us periodically to make sure that the work was getting done to our standards and satisfaction, which I very much appreciate as we were able to stay on top of the project. David did a great job smoothly organizing the workflow to maximize efficiencies and to finish on time and within budget. He is very much hands on with attention to detail and high expectations of providing reliable and quality work. Aside from all these benefits working with David J Kehler Drywall, David and his team made a personal connection with us from the first day. It was quite refreshing to us that he is down-to-earth, respectful and no-nonsense person who associates with similarly personable and professional contractors. If you have little patience for games, and over-priced/outsourced home improvement projects, then you will be relieved and happy to work with David. We highly recommend his services.

Work was to begin between 8 and 9AM on the 16th, requiring 2-3 visits to complete. Carl arrived around 8:20 and quickly began bringing in his materials. He hung plastic sheeting on the wall shared with the kitchen to contain the dust. Within a few hours, the repairs in both rooms were complete and ready for painting. Before departing for the day, he did a good cleanup of the area and indicated that he would return in the morning to handle the painting. Again he arrived on time, taped off the crown molding, etc and applied the first coat to the ceiling. Then to the family room. I had located the paint can which had last been used for that room six years prior. When Carl opened the can, there was a considerable amount of rust along the interior rim, some of which had fallen into the paint. Carl took the time to scoop out all unwanted material before mixing the paint. While applying the paint he mentioned that the crack was probably due to settlement and might reappear if there was further settling. Dave arrived about that time to check out the status and advised that Carl would remain to apply second coats. If I was satisfied I was to provide payment to Carl. Upon completion, Carl performed a complete cleanup. He was totally respectful of real and personal property throughout the job. One challenge was the need to paint the dining room ceiling without being able to move our 700 pound Italian stone table. He handled this matter easily. All in all, I was completely satisfied with all aspects of the job and will certainly call upon Dave if I need drywall work in the future.

Dave is a true professional and works with a very talented crew, they worked efficiently, kept the place clean and offered a really good price for the work I needed done. When I initially contacted Dave he was up front in telling me that he had jobs booked out several weeks in advance, I asked him to come by anyway. I'm glad that I did because one of his jobs was delayed and as a result he was able to come in work on my home. I was really impressed with the work that was done in my house and would definitely recommend Dave in the future.

Dave provided an on-site estimate and a very competitive price. I obtained three prices and decided to go with Dave. Bottom line Dave did what he said; he was personally involved, often participating, during the entire execution. Workmanship was outstanding. Communication was first rate and Dave was very responsive and professional. Would definitely use Dave?s company again!

The business owner stated he could fix garage drywall issues/problems that previous contractor failed to do. Seven months later this problem returned. When we contacted the owner, he now states, "this is not a fixable problem and would probably reoccur". So why did he state he could definitely fix the issue and take our money for this expensive project?!!! His website states " they take great pride in workmanship and customer service," but this proves to be very untrue. This company completed a job knowing it would not be successful without prior notice to the owners.

On the first day, Dave told me that one of his crew members had a family emergency and couldn't make it. Honestly, my first thought was, "Oh no, here we go again!" BUT, Dave's next sentence was, "So, I am going to stay and help so we don't fall behind." I was really impressed because I am certain that he did not have the time or desire to do that as the owner of the company. Thanks to Dave, the job stayed on schedule and was finished right on time. With the exception of the family emergency (which happens to all of us), Dave's crew showed up everyday on time and worked hard. They were friendly and went out of their way to ensure the job was done right. The crew cleaned up on the last day and the finished project looked great! Dave' specialty is drywall but he told me he also finishes basements. He gave me a rough estimate for my entire basement and I was floored. I would have hired him for the entire project if I had found his company before I started it myself. It would have saved me a lot of days off and frustration. Dave is just an honest and nice guy. I highly reccomend him for ANY project you have.

This was a drywall hang and finish project of roughly 100 sheets.... drywall was delivered on time.... the drywall hangers were on time and completed on schedule.... the Drywall finisher began on time and finished on time with no issues... We are very pleased with David Kehler Drywall, Inc. and would reccomend hem to everyone...

After interviewing many contractors to remodel my basement I finally found David Kehler Drywall Inc. Dave was professional, prompt and knowledgable. I had an insurance claim which can be very complicated. Other contractors when hearing this either didn't return with an estimate or quoted me $12,000 more than Dave. Dave was efficient in getting the estimate back to me in just a few days and a very resonable price! After the contract was signed I changed my mind multiple times during the project Dave was always accomodating. He was on time everyday kept in contact and completed the job when he said he would. He actually completed it early. He offered creative solutions to my design dilemmas.He designed and installed a built in entertainment center it looks great! After tearing the ceiling down I found I had a leaking shower Dave offered several solutions on how to solve the problem both temporary and permanent. I already have an estimate for a future bathroom remodel! I now have a contractor I can hire again and again. I would highly recommend Dave Kehler Drywall .

Dave is an amazing contractor, I wish everyone was as honest and trustworthy as this man! He promptly returned my phone call and was able to accommodate my schedule to meet at the house and scope the work. He supplied the bid within 48 hours, including a disclaimer that he may not be able to 100% correct the existing drywall seam damage. I appreciated his upfront honesty, but it wasn't needed. Dave and his crew are surgical with their trowel and were able to fully conceal all prior damage. When they were finished, our house looks as close to new construction as it will ever be. It took approximately 10 days for them to complete the work. Once finished, Dave stopped by the house to go over every square inch with me. There were a few spots I thought needed more sanding and detail work. He agreed and came out personally the next morning to correct what few concerns I had. No complaining or arguing, just an honest man making sure his customers are happy with their work. He has also bid out repairs to our garage walls and ceilings, which we hope to have him complete soon. We will also be converting our basement into a spare bedroom and gameroom (clubroom as he calls them). His number will be the first one I dial once we get to that phase of our remodeling. In sum, you can't go wrong with Dave Kehler Drywall. Calling him was one of the best decisions we have made in our remodeling process.

We contacted several contractors to get estimates for the work. Dave Kehler promptly responded to our inquiry. He looked at all of the rooms and unlike others we contacted was very helpful and took his time to offer suggestions on how the replacement could be handled to both minimize cost and to make the difference in ceiling height between the living room and kitchen unnoticeable as well as enhancing the appearance of the ceiling. He also suggested a way he could replace the dining room ceiling without damaging the wallpaper. He gave us a verbal estimate of the price and promptly followed up with a detailed price the next day. We were able to work out a schedule to accommodate our need to be out of town. His crew was prompt, polite and very helpful. They went out of their way to be helpful and worked out any unknowns and other issues that came up without any angst. For example, when the kitchen ceiling was replaced, we found out that the old ceiling had actually been sloped and the cabinet were actually lower on one side of the kitchen. The new ceiling was installed correctly and a small gap was left at the ceiling and one of the can lights needed a little ceiling work repair due to the installation. Mr. Kehler came to the house and not only came up with a solution for the cabinets but also inspected every room and made sure there were no other issues. The ceilings are beautiful, the walls are perfect and we would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to renovate their home.

David and his associates were professional, respectful, polite and friendly.They arrived on time and were ready to begin work immediately. Each day, we were given an update and a description of the work to be done.They obviously knew their craft, and completed the work in a timely fashion. Their suggestions regarding materials to be used on the floor and bathtub and where to acquire them were extremely helpful. The areas improved now look beautiful. We will definitely use Mr. Kehler's company for work in the future.

The Guys showed up on time each day. If there was a conflicting issue I was told about it well in advance. They did the job quickly and professionally. I was very impressed by the meticulous cleanup they did each time they finished for the day. They did a great job on this old house with less-than-straight walls. The finisher, Charlie, did a great job finishing. The price was very reasonable. This is the second time I used Kehler Drywall in my home and I would certainly use them again should the opportunity arise.

Dave and his crew showed up, performed out the job and did a swell job from beginning to end. They were tidy, friendly & extremely professional. We will definitely use them again!

Everything went great. Dave was very responsive and provided the best of several quotes we obtained. He and his workers were professional and punctual, able to start the job quickly and finish earlier than projected. Quality of work was very good and done at a fair price. All in all a great experience and we would definitely recommend to others, as well as use his company for future projects.

We got 3 estimates off of Angie's List. Mr. Kehler responded promptly to our request for a quote to remodel our basement recreation room. We expanded the scope of work with him and his estimate was the most appropriate for the additional work we asked for. His men were courteous and always on on time. Their work was neat and clean. He worked with us on the schedule since we could not accommodate his men every day.

A tree fell onto/into our house during Hurricane Sandy, and tree branches punctured through the drywall in four places in three rooms. Kehler Drywall repaired these punctures and got them to "paint ready" finish.

They are very good and professional. They came out and quickly and gave a thorough written estimate to us.

A few of the companies we called won't even give us an estimate because the job was too big. Kehler drywall came out to the house the evening after we called. We got a very reasonable estimate and decided to use the company. We are very pleased with the work done. The company is very easy to work with. They are punctual, professional and neat considering how much dust is created with this type of work. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to stop the drywalling work and Dave was very understanding about our situation and began the work again as soon as we got the clearance to do so. I highly recommend this company whether your project is large or small. Beautiful job!! We are very pleased.

We had to remove some wood paneling in our 20X10 family room in order to fix some electrical wiring issues. We contacted three companies to come out and give estimates for putting up drywall, fixing some holes in the ceiling, and replacing trim. The price of each of the three estimates were very similar, but we decided to go with David because he seemed much more knowledgeable about drywall than the other folks that came out to give estimates. Specifically, because we previously had thin wood paneling in the room, standard half inch drywall would not have mated evenly with the existing door and window frames. No other estimator seemed to notice this major issue. We discussed a number of options and eventually decided that going with 1/4 inch drywall would be best for this application. There was no high pressure sales tactics, and David was very friendly in general. The majority of the work was done by Charlie, with David coming by from time to time to help out. The job was spread out over a period of a week, but it only took that long because it happened during the holidays, and because we wanted a few days to paint before the trim was installed. Charlie made sure that we were happy with color match of the new trim (we have wood trim in our house) before he installed it which we appreciated. He added some extra floorboard pieces to trim out a brick step and fireplace hearth which looked amazing, and was beyond what we expected. The finished drywall looks great, none of the seams are visible, and none of the receptacle holes were over-sized There was one receptacle hole that was initially misaligned (the receptacle cover would not have covered the hole) but it was fixed within one day after I let David know about the issue. There were a couple of nail pops, but they aren't very noticeable. All of the ceiling hole patches look like there was never a hole there, and he replaced a big, ugly, wooden, plumbing access panel with a small plastic one which still provides the same accessibility. The carpeted floor was covered with drop-cloths every day during work and rolled into the center of the room at the end of the day so we could walk through without tracking anything through the house. They also hung plastic sheets over the doorways during sanding to minimize the dust in the rest of the house. Overall we are pleased with the experience, and would gladly recommend them to others needing drywall work done in their homes.

His prices were higher so I didn't use him. I contacted him because he was local. I might consider using him in the future.

I called to have my vaulted ceiling drywalled after a storm caused a leak and my roof got replace. they did a great job the results have been great. I would call them again for any of my drywall work .
