Nothing but praise for this company. I emailed David on April 26th about getting an estimate for my basement and received a response almost immediately. He came out to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done that evening. He was straight forward and honest with the DIY work that had already been done. David noted that he could squeeze our job in immediately if the timing worked for us, and it definitely did. David and his co-worker showed up promptly at 8am on April 28th to begin the drywall work. They came back again the next day to do a second coat of mud and then again on May 2nd to sand everything. I am so pleased with how everything turned out. In only 3 short days our basement went from seeming like a never ending project to a room ready for paint! David and his co-workers were very nice, easy to talk to, and are just downright great at what they do. The price also can't be beat and was worth every penny. We will definitely be using this company again for any future projects.

David Kehler responded promptly to my email inquiry and came to our home to look at the job in question. He gave us a timely quote for the job via email. The job and work requested was partially the result of a flood in our lower level due to sump pump failure, our insurance company was involved, and it took a little longer for us to give him the go-ahead to start the job. He was very patient and did not annoy us for the work. Once the job was started he and his employee, Carl, showed up every morning when they said they were going to. Either David, or Carl, would give us a detailed explanation of what they hoped to accomplish on the day in question, and then provided us with a timeline of the following day, or two. My husband works from home two days a week and Carl was sensitive to the noise level when he was working from home. Both David and Carl were very pleasant and professional at all times. My husband and I were both happy with the quality of the work performed by David J. Kehler Drywall, Inc. and we would use this company again.

Very punctual when estimating area performing work. Job was complete, excellent, clean up and very pleasant workers. Work was done exactly as estimated.

No project ever goes perfectly, and this was no exception, but we are very pleased with the final product. David Kehler is a very honest, reliable businessman. I especially appreciate his responsiveness and willingnesss to "make things right," so to speak. I would not hesitate to recommend David J. Kehler Drywall to anyone. Overall, a great experience working with him on our home upgrade.

Can't say enough good things about Dave Kehler, his assistant Carl and the rest of their team. These guys are true pros who genuinely care about the quality of their work. it started with Dave coming out to quote my basement job. He arrived when he said he would, carefully looked over the job, offered many good suggestions and came up with a fair price. From the outset he told they were busy so he wouldn't be able to start for three weeks. Three weeks later they arrived and started on the basement. As mentioned, the entire crew was polite, professional and moved efficiently through the process. Dave was in regular contact with me and quickly answered any text message I sent no matter the time of day. He and his crew were almost obsessive about daily cleanup as well. After the basement completion my wife and I were going to get quotes for our master bath. I casually asked Dave if he wanted to quote and he was willing. Essentially, the professionalism and quality of their work was a repeat of the basement job. My wife is overjoyed with the new master bath. At this point there was no question who I was going to use to do the remainder of what I needed done. They replaced the guest bathroom floor, new vanity along with new molding, the basement bathroom floor with new molding and every door on the main level. I've heard many horror stories about home remodelers. None of these stories applied to this company. All you want is for a contractor to do what he promised, be professional and have pride in the work performed. Kehler & Co. embody these tenets. Good job guys and thanks!!! Rich

We have had Dave Kehler Drywall,Inc do several jobs for us previously. They included painting, molding and finishing a foyer with porcelain tile. Most recently Dave and Carl remodeled our 2 bathrooms and did an excellent job, their pride in their workmanship is apparent. They made sure every detail was reviewed by us and to our satisfaction. They were able to flex their schedule around the plumber, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Dave and Karl for your courteous , outstanding work. We will be calling you again.

David's crew did an excellent job. Started early in day, was there when they said they would be. Very satisfied with the room. Wife liked it so much she had them paint the hallway and the mounding, doors and trim. Very good price for the add on job. All in all, very pleased and would recommend them/ use them again.

On time, as scheduled, very reasonable price, excellent quality and Mr. Kehler is quite personable. He even provided advice on other tasks we need done without trying to sell himself on them. A good experience all around. I've already recommended him to a friend.

Prompt, efficient, and quality finish.

We have used the company a few different times. They do great quality work and are always prompt. We have worked closely with David. He is great at cleaning up after each job. I had no problem scheduling their services.

This company was very professional from the first initial e-mail requesting a work estimate and repair, and they are adamant about quickly executing the project with diligence and quality. In and effort to expedite the work project, I took pictures of the damaged areas that needed repair and e-mailed them to David. He assessed the damage, e-mailed me the written proposal and estimate, and never deviated from the price he quoted me. I know in many cases pictures don't provide the full scope of the damage or repairs that need to be done, which tend to increase the price of the project(s). I admit they completed the job for well under the amount that I anticipated spending on the repair project, that alone is a major plus and incentive to call them for future repair project should they arise. My repair project was finished in roughly two days and he even gave me a great price on a potential ceiling repair project. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves, or in my case made things even more cleanly than the condition in which they were introduced..(lol) For that I am grateful, and definitely impressed!

I am currently placing paint primer on new drywall ceiling and walls. Close look at the drywall work reveals a high quality job. Virtually no finishing defects found while painting, only a few very minor areas that may need some attention, I emphasize just a few spots in a very large area. They will return at no cost if requested.

David Kehler and his team were absolutely amazing. We had three different contracting companies in for estimates to refinish our 1,100 sq ft basement (with full bath). Dave was the only one who made suggestions and offered up ideas and we left the appointment with a vision of how our basement could look. We had already done the demolition of existing walls ourselves so the work included: some HVAC, electrical, plumbing, new framing, drywall, paint, full bathroom with tile floor and tile tub/shower, new windows, exterior door, closets with interior doors and other misc. items. Dave and his guys were on time everyday and very professional and courteous as we work from home often. Dave communicated everything with us and offered up options for anything that was unexpected or different from what we had initially discussed. The cost included everything in it's entirety, so not only the services and materials that Dave used but the bathroom fixtures we purchased ourselves (toilet, tub, sink, etc.) as well as new laundry machines. The entire job took 6 weeks and Dave coordinated both the electrician and plumber throughout that time frame. Dave was on the job site almost everyday and overall definitely offered the best value for the money. We now have an amazing space that has almost doubled the size of our house. We couldn't be happier and plan on using Dave and his team for future projects!

Overall very happy with work performed on the wall. It was a pleasure doing business with someone who really knew what he was doing. Even installed trim work around the drywall which gave it a great finished look. Will definitely will use this contractor again for future projects.

His prices were too high. So we did not go with him. It was higher than others. He was very prompt and detailed. He came when he said he was going to some.

David arrived on time for the estimate. He listened to my needs, and I really liked his 'can-do' attitude. He gave me some ideas beyond what I'd planned, just to help me visualize the possibilities, but there was absolutely no pressure and he was thoroughly respectful. As we drew up a plan, he actually gave some money-saving suggestions that I appreciated. He got back to me promptly with his final estimate, which was reasonable, and in less than 2 weeks he set Carl to work in my basement. Carl arrived on time each day, worked efficiently, and kept the work area neat. (I greatly appreciated the use of a vacuum sander to minimize dust.) David stopped by daily to supervise the work and assist as needed with various aspects of the job. There was good communication throughout the whole process. David was accommodating as I added on several small jobs as we went along, at minimal additional cost (everything's included in the total above), and the whole project was still completed in the time frame he had stated at the beginning. My drywall repairs are seamless, and I am pleased that my basement now has a much cleaner, brighter look! David and Carl are both very personable and friendly, yet professional and respectful. It was a pleasure to meet and work with Dave Kehler, and I recommend him wholeheartedly!

He was great, when he was running late he let me know well in advance, and he worked around my schedule. He got the job done fast. He responded fast to enquiries and was available to do the estimate and start work within a week. Very professional, high quality job. He managed to match existing paint exactly, couldn't tell anything was ever amiss.

They were great. Very professional. Reasonably priced.

It went well. David dealt with several challenges that resulted from flood damage and the end result is great. If you need walls, ceilings and paint, Dave is your man.

The service provider's webpage mentions that no job is too small. I received the exact opposite in response to my question for drywall repair. I was told that the job is too small for what he is available for right now. No suggestion on who else to contact, no offer to follow up, just told that he was sorry and couldn't do the work for me...

. I was amazed at the precise work and the effort they placed on each step of the work they performed. Their drywall repair and preparation for the painting was so good, the end result looked just as it did before the damage. We built our home about 7 years ago and when David and his guys finished, we can't tell the difference in the areas that he repaired to the original construction and finishes. By the way, they left the home in such a perfectly clean condition at the end of each day, you could not tell anyone was doing any work in the home. I will use David on any future work with complete confidence. One more rather important point, David's pricing was a concern at first, as his price was lower than all the other bids we received. Only at the end of the job did I share my concern about his pricing. David laughed and said it was not the first time someone has told him that, but he feels the repeat business comes back to him in additional work and referrals. Thank you David, you and your workers did a fantastic job.

He repaired the ceiling quickly and effectively

We have been working on a DIY project to gut and remodel half of our basement, due to some mold issues. We are trying to do most of the work ourselves to save money but when it came time for new drywall, we knew it was time to hire a professional for a quality finish. We already had 2 estimates and were just looking for a 3rd, so I joined Angie's list and found David Kehler Drywall. David came over to look at the job and my husband immediately liked him. David's price for the job was very fair for the work involved and I should note that David's price came in around the same as our other 2 estimates but his price included debris clean up, which the other 2 companies wanted to charge extra for that. So in the end, his price was the lowest. The drywall was delivered and the work completed in the time frame expected. David had a 2 man crew doing the work and they did both hanging and finishing. You could tell they were seasoned professionals, very friendly and they did a great job. David stopped in several times to check on the progress and kept open communications with us throughout the process. We paid an additional deposit and the balance was to be due at completion. At one point towards the end of the job, I asked about final payment plans and he asked me if I was was signed up on Angie's list. When I said yes, he let me know that he had a discount coupon available on Angies List and I could take an additional $150. off the total price of the job, if I printed it out the coupon and gave to him with the final payment. I thought that was very nice of him to offer that up and save us money. We had a great experience with David Kehler Drywall! I would highly recommend David Kehler Drywall for your drywall needs and I am very pleased with the work they did in our basement. I will use them again in the future if we have additional drywall work to be done.
