Sloppy job, and this wasn't the first year they closed my pool, previous years didn't go great as well. After paying 300 bucks and the guys where there less than an hour, I expected a much better job. Things were done sloppily and quickly, 3 of my water bags weren't filled up to hold my cover in place and I had to do it myself. if I am paying 300+ bucks, at least they can do it properly. There in store parts are priced reasonably, will go back there for parts, but will not be using them for service any more.

they suck. My pool was cracked in the top rail. in the winter they were busy, in the summer they are installing pools and then they are closing pools. 3 years later I still can not get my railing fix. I called the company in Canada and they cant help because they said we got the pool from them. They guy said don't mess me up on Angies List. They claim they ordered the rail. A very young owner has a manager doing everything but he is never there when you call. We told them we were having a problem with our pool and they pulled it up on the internet and looked at it from satellite instead of coming out. The workers were great. I would not recommend them to anyone, afterwards you do not get anything. I keep telling them that the warranty will run out because they are not doing anything.

I contacted the owner Jason) who assisted in the installation of the salt water system several times about the salt water corroding the metal in the pool causing extensive damage. After observing this issue, I checked the web sites which stated DO NOT INSTALL ON METAL POOLS. It stated that a salt water system should never be installed on a metal above ground pool. The owner of Clear Water never advised me of the potential problem. I called the business several times over the summer and left countless messages for Jason stating exactly what the problem was and did not get a return call. I finally got in touch with the owner Jason in December 2014 and he stated that he would come out the following Monday to look at the pool. He never came out and he never called me back. He should have never recommended the salt water system for my pool as he was aware that the metal would not sustain the saltwater. I as the homeowner, was not aware of the potential risks and problem and it certainly should have been brought o my attention. Clear water Pools have done nothing to assist me ior rectify the problem which is only causing further damage to my pool.

If anyone has a problem just beware. Not sure if the girls answering the phone in the office even told the workers that I called. I never got a call informing me of the progress on my vacuum. Would not have an issue if they just took the time to call and inform me.

The company is staffed with folks (more than the owner) that understand pool construction and maintenance and are able to quickly help diagnose significant issues. This year is the first time we needed to have a major maintenance item taken care of, a liner replacement, and in the process of working with CW began to understand some of the issues we face with the way that the pool was installed (another company installed the pool). Other pool companies in the area had a real issue providing faster service I believe because only the owner has any in depth knowledge about pools and more importantly pool construction. Other local pool companies would schedule appointments and not show up - we never had this issue with CW. We have been pleased with the install and the quality of the work. The job supervisor also has stopped by after the install to make sure everything was OK. I did not think the price was out of line from my expectations, but we did not have much of an opportunity to shop around due to the lack of responsiveness of other local pool companies. We have used them for year for all of our chemicals and water testing, and they are extremely helpful in disgnosing water issues and have friendly staff in the store and good hours (open on Sunday). Regular pool maintenance-wise - they are a lot better than dealing with the large chain pool company further down the road.

I exclusively deal with Clearwater pools after another major pool supply company misadvised me which resulted in the need to drain my pool 50%. Clearwater was quick to determine the chemical misbalance and advised me how to correct the issue as quickly as possible. I visit Clearwater through out the summer for pool maintenance needs: chemicals & water tests. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. If I need to schedule service, we determine urgency and they fit me in as needed. Clearwater came recommended by a co-worker. Since then, I have recommended Clearwater to three other friends.

This is the first pool company that I have really been pleased with the service. We always feel confident that they know what they are doing. We've had several other companies come out and never get the problems fixed. Clearwater has ALWAYS been able to fix any issues we've had. They also make sure we only buy the chemical we need.

First company was late arriving. When we discussed & changed to salt water, this was an additional $1500 in Oct 2009. When company opened the pool in May 2010, the water was green. They had arrived late, so said they would be back in a few days to correct. I asked why a few days & was told they had other clients to take care of. I explained that this was Memorial Day weekend & we were having out of state visitors. We really wanted our pool to be available. When company finally came back, 2 days after the holiday, they did correct the pool & water turned back to blue .During the summer, I received a phone call about a bill for $75. This was the cost to return to complete opening the pool. I said that I was not told that there was another fee for them to complete their job. After lengthy discussion, they agreed to withdraw the fee. When they came to close the pool, again there were 3 young males. As usual, I paid them by check the $300. As they were leaving, one presented me with a written bill for an additional $75.00. It said it was the comeback fee for returning to open the pool. I explained that no, there should be no bill for them to complete their work, during the opening of the pool. Another extended discussion & they agreed to cancel the charge.

They do a good job but if we do not have an emergency we have to wait until they have other work to do in our area then they will come out to our home. They are suppose to call before they come but they know I want to be here when they come but they just showed up at any time. So this was not what I wanted. All the pool rails are ok but one I called the company and they said it sounded like a mold poblem with the manufacturer so I called them they said it was a mold problem too.. They are good but they are not great on the service. In fact they said it could take a month or two before we get the part in cause its coming from Canada.
