 + -1 moreOur central ac has been acting up on a regular basis and usually on a weekend. We have a service contract with Blevins and they always respond quickly - even on a Sunday! Our serviceman, Jake, is always friendly and a pleasure to see. When we call the office the ladies are wonderful and extremely helpful. Blevins really cares about their customers and it shows.

 + -1 moreI have used them for years. It used to be $125 but now $175. They put a new one in when my furnace went out. I don't have to worry, he knows right where it is and goes to it.
Description of Work: I use BLEVINS HEATING & COOLING INC for oil heat. They come out once a year, clean it up, put new filters in it and if I need something they fix it up.

 + -1 moreI've used them for 35 years. They're due to come out again to do my furnace. That's a yearly thing. They come out on a yearly basis to do everything. They sort of overhaul the furnace. I trust them.
Description of Work: They take the air filter out and make sure that the blower is working properly and make sure that there is no soot that needs to be eradicated.

 + -1 moreIt only took the service tech about 15 minutes and the furnace was running great. We have now signed up for the annual maintenance contract so we don't have to get this poor sole out on a cold winter weekend and we can stay warm.
Description of Work: We purchased our furnace from Blevins and it was an excellent product. Unfortunately, I did not think that the oil burner needed periodic maintenance and all of them need to be cleaned at least once a year. Two years later on a Sunday afternoon we discovered that we were not getting any heat so we called Blevins. The mechanic came out during off hours to make sure that we were taken care of. He was so nice and very professional. After he did the maintenance our oil burner ran like a top. . We also purchased our central air conditioning unit from them and have not had a moment's problem. I would highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling sales and service.

 + -1 moreThey come out and do the annual maintenance to our furnace. We have a heat pump and oil furnace, and they do that kind of work. I wish they would have explained things better to my mother. They don't offer to explain things, you have to be proactive and ask them. When I have an appointment they call ahead of time and let me know when they will be here.

 + -1 moreTHEY CAME OUT TO GIVE A FREE ESTIMATE & A 10% COUPON ON ANY WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY CLEANED THE UNIT & HAD TO ORDER A PART FOR THE COMPRESSOR. IT TOOK ABOUT 2 WEEKS FOR THE PART TO COME IN & THEY CALLED US TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO PUT IT IN. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT & PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
Description of Work: THEY CAME IN TO CLEAN & REPAIR THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT, BECAUSE IT WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.

 + -1 moreWE CALLED BLEVIN HEATING AND COOLING AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY. AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF EXAMINING THE HEAT PUMP, THE TECHNICIAN FOUND A PART THAT WAS DEFECTIVE. HE WENT TO HIS TRUCK AND GOT THE REPLACEMENT PART AND SHOWED US AND EXPLAINED TO US WHAT HAD HAPPENED WITH THE HEAT PUMP.
Description of Work: THE HEAT PUMP WAS CONSTANTLY RUNNING SO WE HAD TO SHUT OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING.

HE RESPONDED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY BECAUSE OUR HEATING WAS NOT FUNCTIONING AND THE AIR TEMPERATURE WAS 3 DEGREES. WE SUBSEQUENTLY UTILIZED THIS COMPANY FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND FOUND THEM TO BE VERY RESPONSIVE AND COURTEOUS.
