+ -1 moreWe got him through Angie’s List. He did a great job. His price was in line with other competitors. His name was Bob. It was only like $315. It was still hot out and we were worried about the tree falling and somebody getting hurt. They did a nice job and cleaned up after themselves. He followed up with me about the stump. He said, that he would recommend leaving a 3 or 4 inch little stump there, instead of digging up then entire yard. That is what we did, we followed his recommendation.
Description of Work: He came out to remove a tree. They came to the front yard of a townhouse we owned, we had a diseased dead tree and they took it out. It was a small tree. It was a 20 foot tree that was top dead, so they cut it down and removed the debris. It was in the front yard.

Description of Work: Removing an Ash Tree that had died from ash bores. it was a very old and very big tree.

Description of Work: Had Bertha's Tree Service come to our home and cut down a pine tree. They were paid to remove it. They left much of it and said they would be back in a few days to complete. They were paid $800.00 in advance and never came back. We called Clear Tree who were great. They did another $3200.00 worth of tree removal and also cleaned up the mess Bertha's left behind. We do not recommend them,.

Description of Work: We have used Bertha's several times over the past 8 years years. Bob has always been quick to respond to calls and to come out to assess a job as well as complete the job. We have had trees that have come down in storms, big branches as well. After using Bertha's on at least 5 different occasions 2 downed trees, 2 trees that had to be taken down and a huge branch that could not be lifted, I can say we are very pleased with their service, pricing and professionalism.

+ -1 moreThis company was very service oriented and professional. They worked quickly and did a great job cleaning up the lawn area after the trees were cut down. I felt very safe and did not worry that the trees might fall in the wrong direction as they were using cords and ropes to guide the tree down to open areas. They were very reasonably priced compared to other companies that performed similiar work on our property. We have already gotten an estimate for another service call and will be calling them back again soon.
Description of Work: We had a large cedar tree removed and 3 smaller trees. The stumps were also removed.

+ -1 moreTHE TREE SERVICE WAS PROMPT WHEN CALLED. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SAFE WHEN PERFORMING THE WORK. THEY HAD SOME GOOD SUGGESTIONS ON OTHER WORK AROUND THE YARD, AND THEY CLEANED UP THOROUGHLY WHEN FINISHED.
Description of Work: A VERY LARGE OAK TREE NEEDED TO BE TRIMMED BECAUSE IT WAS HANGING LOW ENOUGH TO TOUCH THE ROOF.
