We never followed up on it. The guy was very thorough and he did a good job. My husband was happy with the estimate in terms of the solutions they provided, but it didn't work for us in the time-frame. But, the company was extremely aggressive about calling us back after giving us the estimate. They called many times to schedule the work, to the point where that became quite annoying. Other than that the prices were fair.

They came when scheduled, were professional performed quality work. Also followed up after the work was performed. Afer several heavy rains there is no water in the basement so problem is fixed.

They came over several times to give me estimates and to re-assess the problem only because I'd gotten multiple estimates. All of the estimates were very, very close. These guys assured me that they would be done in one day and sure enough, they were. They carried out all of the dirt out the cellar door, left the place spotless and I've not had a single problem since. I couldn't be more happy!

Kim is very patient, and very responsive. He was on-time, efficient, and detailed for each estimate. Would have liked to hire him for the job.

The sales guy was very nice and neat and very knowledgeable. He assured us that his company with their own service guys could do the job. He came true. The 2 guys that came were on time ( despite an hour and a half drive!!!), were very neat and did a tremendous job. Because of previous bad experiences with other companies I stayed with them the whole time. I could have walked away and they still would have done a great job. Our experience was very positive. Pricing was competitive and the results were as promised. We requested photos of the in stages project as it progressed but were only provided with photos of the completed work. We therefore have no documentation of the actual steps taken. I do believe that the work was done correctly and completely.

Overall their associate arrived on time, he was pleasant and called first. He came right in and got to work, he was very interested in my issues and discussed anything that looked out of place upon his own account, it was very refreshing. He investigated the basement for at least an hour and asked for my input on a few issues. After doing his initial review we discussed the notes that he took and left me with an estimate. Their company has followed up with me to keep in touch and I plan to use them in the very near future.

The team arrived on time and began to work immediately. The crew minimized traffic through the house and cleaned up well behind themselves. All work was performed as described and contracted. My basement remained dried as Hurricane Sandy blew through the area.

We had basement water issues with water and some mold and rotting wood that was compounded by Hurricane Sandy that led us to finally do the work. I was fearful of being taken advantage of. This company was recommended by a contractor that we use regularly and that we trust (Roger Williams Construction, Jarretsville). The sales representative was easy to schedule. He was one of the most experienced men in the company. He reviewed our property and made a specific plan to handle the problems found. This is not a cheap proposition, especially for something that is buried in the ground or behind walls, but something we wanted done once and finally. The work comes with a lifetime warranty and is transferable to the next home owner. The business has been around for over 20 years. The warranty will last as long as the company lasts. A big plus, but only mentioned in passing, was the company offered a 10% discount to Angie's List members. I immediately became a member while we were discussing the proposal and immediately saved over $1000!! One man prepped the basement and sidewalls. Very capable and friendly. Took several days. A 3-4 man crew with a supervisor always on site then did the pipe, drain, and sump pump renovations and bentonite. Took 3 days with the crew working from about 8:30 -3:30 each day. Finished on time with as little mess as anticipated. Project did require jackhammering cement around the basement edge and this did raise up some dust. Same one man will return to refinish the sheet rock and reinstall cabinets and appliances. Will probably need to pay to have a cleaning service come in and clean the basement and main floor to get the dust out. Will need to pay to repaint the repaired drywall. The carpet that was pulled away for the work does not appear damaged so hopefully it will reinstalled with little problem.

The group of 3-4 guys completed the job in one day. Job well done. Price was fair. So far, it's working great! And it worked well during the hurricane.

This company and it's employees are wonderful! We called and the next day the president of the company, Chris, came out due to the urgency of our situation and the fact that his other representatives were already scheduled elsewhere. Chris went out of his way to accommodate us, with no pressure, making us feel very comfortable. Upon arrival the workers, Chris, Carl and Darrell introduced themselves and began working. They were very hardworking and considerate. The workers thoroughly cleaned up everything, leaving nothing behind other than a good feeling that our basement would never flood again. Since the work was done we have had two heavy rains, one of which was Hurricane Sandy bringing nine inches of rain and we have had no issues.

They responded immediately and their follow up was really good. Our damage was caused from a power failure which caused our sump pump to back up. They made some suggestions to prevent other problems in the future and gave a good estimate. We would use again.

Making the appointment was fine. John showed up on time and went through the inside and outside of the house. He gave me the presentation and went on his way. I liked the fact there was no pressure to sign. This is our first quote and because we don't get a lot of water we just wanted to find out what kind of money and options we are looking at in the future. We have not solicited any more quotes because we had other projects that were more important to get done during the summer months. We hope to finish up with the quoting process by the spring.

Joe explained all the information and showed photos. The total was the exact quote.The crew was prompt and respectful to the property. They were professional andthe clean up was amazing. I needed an extra call to replace a small amount ofof cement that sank. They returned in 2 days. The replacement work was ofequal quality. We would use this company again.

He was pretty good. He was pleasant & professional. However, he took the copy of the plan with him, instead of leaving a copy I could keep or a proposal in writing at that time. Nor did he communicate with me as to if/when I'll be receiving a written report/estimate. Just felt a little unclear. He also wasn't able to address my concerns about or give me any ideas about how to keep water seeping in from outside. It wasn't clear to me whether this was something they could do or part field of expertise. It may not be, but it just wasn't clear. I think I'm going to get some other estimates before I give him a solid answer. He did give me confidence in their record of work & when I get some other questions answered I very well may use him for at least part of the service.

They are very professional and don't do any subcontracting, which I appreciated. They cleaned up well after they were finished. I called them back because I had a small leak and they came by to fix it at no extra charge.

Met with Kim Shibley on 3/27. Signed contract and scheduled work to be done on 4/16. They were prompt and very polite. Took around 4 hours to complete job. They did a fantastic job and returned a few days later to do a demustification.

Kim Shibley from Basement Waterproofing Nationwide provided me an estimate for the installation of a submersible pump and french drain at the rear of my basement. He was courteous and clearly explained the procedure for installing the system. Ultimately, I decided to go with a company that provided a quote for a comprehensive system for the basement (3 window wells, french drain around the perimeter, and a new basement stairwell drain). Had I decided to get a smaller system, I definitely would have gone with BWN.

The gentleman doing the initial assessment from BWN was professional and thorough. I was happy with the assessment and the proposed solution. (I was afraid they would want to dig up my yard outside the wall). The work was scheduled a week later. The person doing the work took about 4 hours which was exactly what was predicted at the assessment. My only complaint which is minor is that a little bit of a mess was left after the work was done. I had some epoxy splatter on a small step stool I offered to the person doing the work. I count myself partly to blame since I did offer, however he could have wiped it clean of epoxy after he was finished. All in all I was satisfied with the work done. It has since rained pretty hard and I detected no leaks where the work was done. So I consider the money well spent on this repair.

I noticed mold on some boxes we have stored in our basement storage and some white residue on the cinder block walls. The man came out and looked over the situation and assessed it as a combination of humidity and poor insulation in the space. The cold of the cinder blocks was condensing the humidity and causing the mold. He suggested to first add rigid foam insulation to the inside of the space and maybe increase the airflow. He gave us an estimate for trenching the space and inspected the rest of the basement and foundation but saw no infiltration. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful in getting me to understand what was happening in my situation and also how to see if it becomes worse.

He came out and did a thorough inspection of the basement, and discussed what he had found, however he had no recommendations or estimates to give me concerning the window well, all they wanted to do was sell me a sump pump for $700.

The workers arrived on time. The work was completed in an orderly manner. All materials were removed and work place cleaned. They removed the lumber concrete and workers were very pleasant.

In April we had 5 companies give us estimates to put an inside drain along 3 sides of the foundation. I found all the presentations to be very professional, extremely informative and very clear in their explanation of what they considered to be the problem, and with the manner in which they would fix it. The estimates ranged from $5490 to $6300. Even though we inquired whether the problem was with the foundation walls not being sealed well enough, they felt that the water was not coming from the walls, but from ground water seeping up from underneath the foundation. Even though they agreed it MAY be the walls, they still felt that the interior drain system would be the best to use because it would correct the problem whichever way the water was coming in and it was the only procedure they would guarantee. Well, after waiting for 6 months, and finding very little seepage especially with all this rain we have had recently, and with the advice of a local building inspector, we took a couple of panels off one wall and it is very apparent that a small amount of water does indeed come in through the wall. This indicates that the problem is that the outside of the lower level wall needs to be re-waterproofed, not that we have a ground water problem that is seeping up from beneath the foundation. We will be solving the problem with regrading the outside land to slope away from the house and new gutters.

Everything went very well, it only took one day to do a very large basement. They were on time. They didnt leave any mess inside or outside. There is absolutly nothing bad to say about this company.
