Description of Work: Warranty service through Frigidaire. Ice maker was not dispensing ice.

Description of Work: In July I purchased a new Whirlpool washer from Lowe's in Cockeysville and when I used it discovered that there was not a temperature difference between the warm, cool, cold and tap settings. My hot was great but I could not make the washer produce warm water. I had purchased the protection plan and the company sent out a repair man from Video Tech TV VCR Service. I had done multiple temperature tests on the water temps and even contacted Whirlpool. In an email Whirlpool told me that the warm temp should be about 83 to 90 degrees- mine was about 75.When I showed the repair man the email he told me that Whirlpool was wrong but could not show me documentation to prove this. He tested the sensor with a cup of ice water and told me that the sensor worked fine because the ice water was 54 deg.- I tested it later and the same ice water was 40 deg.??? He also "determined" that because my basement laundry room was 85 degrees that the sensor was registering the tap water higher than it should be-I debated with him that the room was 75 degrees(tested it)and he told me that it was because the sensor was behind the washer???? This "repair" man insulted my intelligence and was condescending to me. It was obvious to me that the thermometer in the sensor was registering about 10 deg. too high, but when I brought that to his attention he told me that "this is how the washer was made and if I didn't like it I could return it to Lowe's. He then left without pushing the washer back in place. The company sent me an email survey to complete. I shared this information with them and left my contact info., but they did not contact me.
