Since its inception by co founders William Barr and Michael Strmac in 2002, Universal Windows Direct has lived by the philosophy of CANEI - "Constant and Never Ending Improvement". This philosophy holds true in all aspects of our business, from sales and marketing to installation and service and has catapulted UWD from a small, local home improvement company to one of the largest exterior remodeling companies in the country. Every one of our employees strives continuously to be the best in the business at what they do and provide our customers with only the highest levels of sales, service, and support. We think our company's history speaks to this goal and to the power of what we can accomplish by never settling. Universal Windows Direct of Baltimore opened in 2022. Our products feature the exclusive UniShield brand and come with a transferable lifetime warranty on materials and labor. We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured company and EPA Lead-Safe certified. In addition, a portion of every sale goes to support a growing list of local charities.

Worst harassment from any company ever for canceling an appointment because another window provider had a better deal. Contact calls and bullying. One Customer Service rep was talking to four different calls at the same time. Don't get highjacked by this company, it will take months to get them off your phone number. If you speak to them they don't listen to what you say you need, the TELL you what you are to do and write that up. Run away fast.

Windows and doors look beautiful and house staying warmer. Thermostat being kept at lower temperature but with no leakage house stays at 67. Very warm for us. The windows and doors were to be installed by 11/7/2023 in order for the loan to be official. After the date loan could be cancelled. Poor communication with the company. Do not recommend dealing with a company that sends windows and doors orders to outside company and then a third party installers

This company needs to send more workers to do installation. Poor quality and messy installation job. Extremely rude customer service especially CARROL. I was hoping to do more windows next year but I Will never use them again please run from this company. I wish I had read the other reviews first. Thx.
