Although it was very evident that he is very knowledgeable, his proposal was pricey and he does take his time with getting estimates out. But then again, I do tend to be a bit impatient. He came by on Thursday, April 29th and I didn't receive the (pricey) estimate until after 10pm on Tuesday, May 4th.

John Seymour is wonderful. I am so happy to find somebody knowledgable and trustworthy. It was a wonderful experience and I recommend him highly!

They have done a good job and we have been very happy with them.

I have used Mr. Semour's services for the last two years. And I'm moving out of the area, so this will be my last report. He and his staff have have been excellent. They are fast, efficient, and thorough. I unreservedly recommend them.

John is quite professional and very friendly. He returns calls within a "above expectations" timely manner. He came to my house and assessed my yard and gave me an estimate that day. I have now secured him as my lawn services provider. Its a pleasure to do business with John. He has a good business model.

I think overall, Mr. Seymour is exceptionally courteous, friendly and very responsive. He literally came to take a look at my yard the same day I called him. He clearly knows his work very well. I look forward to working with him and telling others about his services.

John inspected the property and gave me an estimate a few days after I called. He told me he could do the work in 2 1/2 weeks, however it took about 4 weeks which was understandable because there was a lot of rain in the intervening time. After we agreed on a date, John proposed to move it back by 4 days, however when I objected, John readily agreed to the original date. His crew showed up as scheduled and knocked on the door to let us know they were starting. The workers were courteous and worked steadily to compete the job. They cleaned everything up when done and I was very happy with the work performed. John was here to oversee the work for most of the time. John said that the workers forgot to apply weed control before mulching. He agreed to come back twice and weed at no additional charge to compensate for the error. I highly recommend them for landscape / garden maintenance.

Ended up not having anyone do the work. John's appraisal was very detailed and professional, and it seemed like he would have done great work.

John was very professional. He was on time and in touch throughout the planning/work period. He brought 4 persons with him and they were fast and really worked hard. John himslef is very personable and a nice man. He helped me learn a lot of work and tools so I can manage the yard (or try to :-) ). It was a very good experience. The best part: My wife is happy and dancing with joy since all over our yard, the new green is showing up and it's looking beautiful. She has already started her vegetable garden project - inspired by the neatness of the yard! I would definitely use Seymour's Edge again, if needed and also recommend it to anyone.

From beginning to end John was personable and professional. He arrived promptly to provide the initial estimate and arrived to do the job as promised. He is knowledgeable about landscaping and lawn care and willingly answered several questions we had about the yard and planting beds. We hope to use him in the future.

They do very good work. John who is the owner is very responsive and walks around with you to make sure everything is okay. If he needs to send a crew out, he will stop by to make sure they are on task. He is not always the greatest at keeping the appointment but it has never been an issue.

The owner was very informative. He knew a lot about plants. He is the one that gave the estimate. He also gave me some suggestions on what to put in this spring. The workers were prompt and did an excellent job.

I was impressed with my initial interview with Mr. Seymour. He was professional and motivated. His performance, both on lawn maintenance and leaf removal, has been excellent. He is a perfectionist and it shows! I highly recommend him.

The transplant of a large Sweet Bay Magnolia was crucial and John not only picked the perfect place for it, but he's re-routing its growth into a better, healthier shape. The junipers were large and old and the topiary came out as good as could be expected. We contemplated removing the junipers (too large for the spot), but John suggested trying this first as it could add some interest and would cost less than removing them. They look terrific (photo attached).

I contacted John by email and received a response within 30 minutes. He came out the NEXT DAY and took care of the lawn. In addition to mowing, he saw that it needed some extensive weeding - and took the initiative to take care of that (I had let him know ahead of time that I was comfortable with his judgment on what needed to be done and what he felt would be a fair charge). Price was right, work was great. I will now be talking with him about getting his recommendations for more extensive work and possibly setting up a regular mowing schedule so, clearly, I'll be using them again!

He is good about telling me if something needs special attention. He is here always we he say he will be here. It is like clock work. He is trustworthy. His prices are wonderful.

Mr. Seymour came out promptly to give us an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and gave us many suggestions and options for our yard and plants (though he did not try to push us into any extra costly work). The day he was scheduled to come trim the bushes there was a downpour and he had to reschedule. By then he was backed up and it took a few weeks before he could come back out. At that point the Wisteria was probably twice as big as when he gave the estimate, but he did not change the price. We got a confirmation the night before he came. The work was done while we were away, but we were very happy with the results. He and his men did an amazing job of cleaning up what must have been two full truckloads of debris. None of my other plants (many underfoot) were damaged in the process. I received a follow-up email soliciting my response and any concerns. I noted that some insects had been attacking the plant since it was cut and he offered to stop by and check it out. Very impressive professionalism!

Perfectly. I was looking for someone close by (North Baltimore City) and someone highly recommended, so I sent an email to John; within a few days he responded. He came out, surveyed what was needed, made some suggestions and sent me an estimate a few days later, then an email to let me know when he was coming out. OUR 1/2 ACRE PROPERTY WAS SPOTLESS AFTER HE LEFT. I did not shop this and was worried about the high cost of the job, but quickly realized I got my money's worth and was very, very happy about that. I won't hesitate to call John in the future.

The person who does my lawn is a certified landscaper and he really knows what he is doing. I think he is reliable, always on time and always does what I ask him to. His prices are even reasonable too.
